Favorite on AppleTV 4 is no longer a click

On my Apple TV 4, my 'Favorites' screen shows that the number without supervision of the episodes for the TV that I bought. However, when I 'click' on the icon for the show, is no longer doing something else (that depressing in the interface user). It used to take me to the list of episodes of the current season. Now I have to go in my section 'bought' to really play an episode. And Yes, my Apple TV is updated. And yes I have rebooted. And yes I also tried a reset on this subject. The behavior is the same. This makes it completely useless "Favorites" screen.

You might try this reporting to Apple at https://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html. It is not that anyone here can do, unless they found a secret handshake to unlock this feature.

  • Touchpad remote control AppleTV scrubs is no longer

    I got the new AppleTV when he can come out & the best novelty while watching videos was the ability to swipe left and right to browse content, or press the left or right edge to jump forward or backward. Now, after a SW update, edge jumps always work, but rub the work once in a blue moon. I did a factory reset and the problem persists. The remote still recognizes movements left and right because I can still navigate the home screen. If this feature has been removed or is the gesture recognition software buggy? Or could it be my simple sound defective remote? In this case while watching video content on all of the apps I've tried.

    Read and follow these instructions:

  • How can I remove favorites that I need is no longer.

    There is no link bookmark delete bookmark file.

    You use the dialog library? Either:

    • Command + shift + b
    • "Show all bookmarks".

    If you select a bookmark on the right side, you can remove it by using either:

    • Remove the key on the keyboard (which may be called led)
    • Make a right click or Ctrl + click > delete
    • Organize the menu > delete

    The usual methods to select multiple items in the Finder should apply to Library dialog box, if you want to select a certain number of items and remove them in one step.

    The Library dialog box has an element to cancel it in the Organize menu in case of errors, but the cancellation could not go back too far, please use quickly if necessary!

I don't want to restore my computer, I have a lot of things I do not have the time to reistall them again. I have McAfee antivirus sysmtem mechanical using the software and all updates, but nothing can be detected. How can I solve my problem?

    Hello @biomed-engineer,.

    I understand that you experience a delay when you right-click and it worked correctly about 3 weeks ago. Now, you said that you do not want to do a restore, but I think that you involved in RECOVERY and RESTORATION. If you use the HP Support document: use Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) , it will guide you through a system restore that will preserve your personal data, and the only thing that will be lost is any applications installed after the day you choose or the settings that have been changed since then. If you choose a date means 1 month return you'll only loose applications or settings have been installed or changed during the month, everything will remain the same.

    I think that's what you need to do to fix your problem and recommend that you follow the steps in the document I have provided.

    I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Long left clicking displays the right click menu

    When I press and hold the left mouse button, the right-click menu is displayed.
    I want to turn this feature off, but can't remember which extension it controls or if the function is built into Firefox.

    Hooray! Found! Thank you Google.

    I found an old - very old - thread on Mozillazine.org:

    http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38 & t = 340572

    And it IS a normal feature of Firefox, but it is normally OFF.

    I think I need to have recently turned it on after reading an article of "Tips and tricks of Firefox" somewhere.

    In any case, the preference is called 'ui.click_hold_context_menus '.

    And I just remembered that I added it in my preferences file "user.js", among a load of others:

    * Disable the Delay When Installing New Extensions

    user_pref ("security.dialog_enable_delay", 0);

    * To turn off the URL greying

    user_pref ("browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled", false);

    * To unhide the "http" portion of a URL

    user_pref ("browser.urlbar.trimURLs", false);

    * Enable spell checker in multi-line text boxes & single-line text boxes

    user_pref ("layout.spellcheckDefault", 2);

    *   Double underline style

    user_pref ("ui. SpellCheckerUnderlineStyle «(, 4);

    * Cycle through open tabs with Ctrl+Tab

    user_pref ("browser.ctrlTab.previews", false);

    * Disable Animations for Full Screen

    user_pref ("browser.fullscreen.animateUp", 0);

    * Click and hold on a hyperlink to show the context menu

    user_pref ("ui.click_hold_context_menus", true);

    * Instant Apply Preferences Without Closing Options Window

    user_pref ("browser.preferences.instantApply", true);

    * Middle-click in any textfield, addressbar or searchbox to paste clipboard

    user_pref ("middlemouse.paste", true);

    So there's a lesson here: do not add too many settings to your preferences of Firefox at the same time or you may forget what you were doing!

    Thank you, all. I will now mark this as "resolved".

  • I want to remove "list of pocket" from the top of my favorites.

    This is a link that leads me to the Pocket web site that appears at the top of my favorites under "show all bookmarks". When I click on it it is there no option to remove this bookmark. I have not installed Pocket. I looked at and I'm not interested. I don't want to give up a valuable real estate at the top of the bookmarks.

    I read a lot of posts and the help page on how to remove it from the toolbar is not relevant (is not here).
    I also tried to disable the subject Pocket: config by activating / deactivating false values.
    Nothing helps. He uses a lot of space and in the public eye, I find it very annoying and I would like to remove it.

    If browser.pocket.enabled is set to false on the topic: config page then you will need to undo this and set the pref to true to reappear the Pocket button.
    Make sure that the button of the Pocket is placed on the Navigation bar, you can click this toolbar button and use "Remove from toolbar" to turn off Pocket properly.

    You can click on the button of the Pocket (except Pocket) and click on "Remove from Toolbar" or "Remove menu" to turn off the Pocket and move the Pocket to the palette to customize button.
    That will remove the 'Pocket display list' entries in the bookmarks menu.
    This only works if browser.pocket.enabled = true
    When you have moved the Pocket to the palette to customize button and the Pocket in the bookmarks Menu items are hidden, then you can turn off the Pocket and change these preferences and close and restart Firefox.

    • Browser.Pocket.Enabled = false
    • Browser.Pocket.API (net value)
    • Browser.Pocket.site (net value)

    You will be perhaps easier to delete bookmarks you don't want in the list of the bookmarks library. As noted in the article to bookmark sorting you can view and sort by additional columns, I recommend installing the extension "Show Parent Folder" link is in the article to bookmark, unfortunately that you can add the column is not sortable, but it provides valuable information.

    C:\Documents and Settings\nom Name\Favorites.

    Go to start/run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
