Favorites icon

How can I put the "Bookmarks" icon in the Group (the most visited; Getting started; etc.) just below the address bar (URL).

This would simplify find bookmarks with one mouse click to view the list.

Hi, I assume that you want to move the bookmarks to the bookmarks bar button. To do this, see controls customize Firefox, buttons and toolbarsand customize mode, you can simply drag the button to the toolbar to the location of your choice, then exit customize to save.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

  • The user desktop and Favorites icons back - view Horizon 6.2

    Hi all

    We use Persona management to manage user profiles for our automated floating office pools. Users are entitled to more than one office pool and they connect to a VDI session at the same time be disconnecting it. We'll have a strange problem where the user desktop icons go back and the Favorites icon to reproduce if a user tries to delete or reorganize them. I understand Persona management does not support several concurrent sessions to the same profile and if more than one session is detected, it passes in read-only mode, during which no changes is uploaded to the network. However, in our scenario users are disconnected and connection and then to another office pool so there is only a single session per user at any time. However, the changes they make in any of these sessions are merged and duplicated. I made sure there is enough time between log off / process so that profiles are synchronized over the network.

    All the world is facing this problem?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Loc.

    If you did the concurrent session connection (connect on several desktop computers at the same time using the same user), then Persona does not support it.

    Unknown results can occur.

    Favorites icons do not use the favorite icon. It's something called apple touch icons. If you look at any website that have the icon and look at the source code for it, you'll see that it uses Apple Touch icons.

    If you look at the source code for those who have the icons you will see code like this in thesection:

  • How can I reinstall the favorite icon at the top of the home page?

    On the line from the top of my home page, the line that has the arrow download and homepage icon and icon menu to open, I used to have a star for bookmarking a page and icon for favorites. These two icons have disappeared. How do I get them back on the same line?

    Note that may have removed the buttons on the Navigation toolbar by accident.

    If you right click on an item to toolbar in normal mode (non-personnaliser) mode, then you can remove this item from the toolbar.

    • "Remove from toolbar" will remove this element of the Navigation toolbar and moves it to the palette to customize (Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize)
    • "Go to the Menu" will move this point '3' dropdown menu Firefox button bar
    • "Move to the toolbar" in the "3-bar" Firefox dropdown menu button will move that point to the toolbar
  • After the upgrade of Firefox all my favorites icons disappear.

    After release of the next version of Firefox, all my favorites have lost their icons. To restore an icon I have to click this bookmark and load a web pade again. Brings back an icon.
    But I have so many icons that I can't go just by each of them.
    I appriciate any help on this matter.

    Have you tried to restore the favicons with the extension of CheckPlaces?

  • Imported Favorites icons

    I imported my favorites of IE 9. They all have a generic icon and the only way I found to display the p [icon roper is to load the web site. Is there an easier way?

    The extension to check the places has a function to load the Favicons:

  • How to put the Favorites icon in the toolbar

    How can I get an icon on a toolbar, for my favorites.

    You can't do it in Windows Explorer, if you are referring to Internet Explorer, try the following:

    Press Alt from your keyboard

    Click view > toolbars > favourites

  • I accidentley moved the favorite icon menu when I wanted a home so I removed it hoping that would work. It did not work.

    I wanted a Home tab and now I deleted it on accident

    If you have not closed Firefox since this has happened, you may be able to use Undo to revert on your deleted bookmark. Since the cancellation goes in reverse order of last modified, unfortunately it could cancel some things first, but if you want to try...

    Open the Library dialog box help

    • CTRL + SHIFT + b
    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks

    Click the toolbar bookmarks or Menu bookmarks in the left column, everywhere where the bookmark deleted was. This is so that you can watch to see if it returns when you use Undo.

    And then upward to the left you should see a menu plan. If you do not see text and icons, try the icon that looks like a stack of paper. Here you should find Undo available (not grayed out). If so, you can try it.

    A little luck?

  • Remove Favorites icons

    I want to use the toolbar bookmarks for a large number of bookmarks. Since the update to FF36, I have a multitude of yellow squares (folder icons that mean nothing) before the name of the folder that I made. By clicking on "Customize" does not help. My bookmarks tool TAOs is short of space... so, how can I get rid of this useless stuff?
    Thank you

    You can hide the icons folder of bookmarks on the bookmarks with code toolbar in userChrome.css

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #personal-bookmarks .bookmark-item[container] > .toolbarbutton-icon {
     display:none !important;
    }

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    • Create the folder chrome (lowercase) in the .default < xxxxxxxx > profile folder if the folder does not exist
    • Use a text editor like Notepad to create a userChrome.css (new) file in the folder chrome (file name is case sensitive)
    • Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the Editor window
    • Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
    • Make sure that you select "All files" and not "text files" when you save the file via "save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.
      Otherwise, Windows can add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with one does not not userChrome.css.txt file

  • Why is the Favorites icon is more in the Favorites menu bar in the 23.0.1 version

    The icon was on the right side of the toolbar of bookmarks with the tag "bookmarks" beside him. In the 23.0.1, version it is moved to the right of the home page icon and the label "bookmarks" is no longer displayed. It seems that IE10.

    The "actions" based on the location of the bookmarks toolbar button changed to Firefox 23.0. The new default location seems to be on the Navigation toolbar; For me, it was with a new profile to the right of the search bar and to the left of the "arrow" to download / download progress display button. When he is on the Navigation bar "Bookmarks" tab is not shown, but an arrow 'drop-mark' is here. As well as the Bookmarks button doesn't automatically move himself when the personal bar does not appear as with previous releases since Firefox 4.0.

    You can move this button anywhere you wish through the Customize feature to the toolbars.

  • Why my favorites icon disappeared and why my bookmarks menu suddenly on the left side?

    Recently, Firefox updated to 23.0.1 (beta?) and once the browser upward, I noticed that my bookmark icon (the star) had disappeared. I solved the problem easily by assigning up to where it was originally. Now my problem is that when I click the icon, my menu appears on the left side of the screen rather than the right as he did previously, before the update. I went down to 22 and it does not solve the problem. I really want the menu to return to the right side, as the left just frustrates me. I have not found no quick fix in the menu customization, or in safe mode. Can someone help me?

    There are two buttons of almost identical bookmarks, one for the bookmarks bar and one for the Menu bookmarks (which drops down), which has a "circumflex accent" / arrow & text bookmarks when it moves out of the Palette to customize.

    You have the wrong button.

  • I tried 'rebooting with disabled modules' to get the Favorites icon on my page. He didn't stay in place. What now?

    Just setup my PC with Mozilla firefox. My start page did not show the 'star' in the upper right click to view the list of favorites. I searched the statutes of the solution and tried to restart with the disabled modules, which actually does that restore 'star' Favorites. But there are no when I open a new tab. How can I get my firefox browser to keep the stars and not lose him again?

    If the menu with the bookmarks menu bar isn't visible, then you will not see the bookmarks Menu button.

    You get the orange Firefox menu button when the menu bar is hidden.

    • Firefox menu button > Options
    • View > toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
    • Right click on empty toolbar space
