  just installed new Windows7, and tried to use the fax printer driver I was doing on Windows XP (HP Photosmart Prem C410 fax series). I can print the form of expexted and access the printer via http and it still works on my old PC.

  It is therefore not the printer itself.

  I tried:

  -remove, then reinstall the driver (PS_AIO_07_C410_FSW_Full_Win_EMEA_140_222-4 and basic)

  -HP print and Scan Doctor

  -Seraching the printer

  -google has given too many links not matching

  Short: The version of the print driver fax is not installed on Windwos 7.

  Faxing from office was the main reason for this printer.

  What can I do?

  I see that you have some problems with portions of the missing software Fax.

  I suggest you remove all cables you have the printer connected to the computer (for example, USB) and do a complete uninstall of the software and drivers.

  Once the uninstall is complete, please click on the following link for the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  In fact, I found the solution. It was a setting of Windows 10.
  Apparently, 10 Windows will change the default printer to the printer last used (in this case, the printer named as the "fax" printer).
  To fix this, I went to:
  Beginning
  Parameters
  Devices of
  Printers, Scanners &
  and turned off the coast "Let Windows manage my default printer"

  This solves the problem. Coming from Windows 7 I wasn't aware of this setting.

  Of course, you can disable printing fax as follows:

  From the main screen of the printer, click the right arrow, and then select Setup.

  Select Fax Setup , and then Basic Fax Setup.

  Select Fax digital Hp then under Fax Print Off, disable printing fax.

  Any future faxes should only appear on your computer.

  Print2Fax is a software that allows you to send an email receipt/attachment as a fax through a third party.

  I added my 8600 Pro Officejet tray 2. I have #10 envelopes in tray one and paper in tray 2. I can get it to print in all modes except the incoming faxes and he tries to print from Tray 1.   Welcome to the HP Forums.

  If you use something else than standard paper in tray 2, the default printer in Tray 1 for fax.  If you try to use the legal size in the second tray, this will also cause the issue.

  Please remove the paper from Tray 1 just enough so that it is not recognized by sensors in the printer. This will test the printer to make sure it will default to try the 2.

  Hi really struggled with this one. I am looking to download the Viewer for this model so I can scan documents. I bought this refurbished model so do not receive driver disks.

  When I initially contacted Toshiba, I was directed to download drivers containing the Viewer. I had no need for the viewer at the same time and so just installed printer drivers and deleted the files that I didn't need them.

  Now I haven't needed them that I can't seem to locate them again. The drivers have been updated online, they understand now is no more files in the Viewer, any ideas?

  Please don t be crazy about me, but it's absolutely bad place because it's forum on laptops, desktops and to PDA. In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba again.

  I hope that someone can help you. You can also Google everywhere. You may be lucky and find again all the documents you need.

• Firefox warning reset my fax printer and won't reset

  Running latest version of firefox on a HP laptop with windows 7 64 bit. The printer is reset to 'fax' and every time you try to change it immediately moves to 'fax '. I tried to reset all the resources of such print.printer indicated in the online troubleshooting area and it did nothing help ot. IE will print correctly, as well as MS office products. I also tried clearing history and cache without effect. The printer is a HP color laserjet on the network.
