• launch cannot fix it for vista. downloads, but will not be installed. no error code given

  Question relates to error install windows 641 and similar. Problem is the windows installer service does not appear on the system, period. No avalible and fix fix it install, probably for this reason! Help!

  Method 1:

  You can check if the windows service install is present under services and check if the service is set to automatic. You can follow the procedure.

  (a) click Start.

  (b) type services.msc in start search.

  (c) search the Windows Installer Service and click on select Start.

  (d) on the general tab, next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.

  I also suggest you to see the steps and check.

  Unregister and register the Windows Setup program again

  1. click on Start, click run, type MSIEXEC /Unregister. and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing is happening.

  2. click on Start, click run, type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

  Try your application based on Windows Installer again.

  Method 2:

• error code 2739 Flipshare on Vista download

  My PC is Vista. I tried to download the Flipshare software via a Flipvideo camcorder on my computer, but towards the end of the installation process the error code 2739 flashes up toward the end of the installation. Then a second message box displays saying that the file is incomplete or corrupted, and I have to uninstall and try again. However the Flipshare software does not appear in my uninstall programs, so it would seem that there is no program to uninstall?

  I tried a number of suggestions online to fix this problem without success: -.

  1. Download the software directly from the Web of Flipshare site instead and running it as an administrator
  2. disable my firewall and then try
  3. running a registry cleaner

  I had a similar problem when you try to download updates for Adobe Flash Player and overcame this problem by being told to go into Windows, system32, C:\windows\system32\macromed, flash etc. and right click on the .exe revelant corresponding with the file name, and then click Run. He then successfully downloaded.

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below.

  I suggest you to re-register the JScript.dll (or optionally VBScript.dll) and check if the problem persists.

  a. launch a high administrator command prompt (start > type cmd in the start menu (right-click > run as administrator)).

  b. for Windows Vista 32-bit user, make sure the command line is C:\Windows\System32\ record. For Windows Vista x 64-bit, issue the following command to replace 64-bit in order to use the correct DLL files:

  CD C:\Windows\System32\SysWow64

  c. type the following command and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 jscript.dll

  d. and eventually (if problem persists).

  regsvr32 vbscript.dll

  e. run the installer again and check.

  I have Windows Vista and am trying to install SQL Server Express.  After decompression of the files, it tells me that I have to download Windows Installer and provides a link.  When you click the link, I get a message from 0X8007000d saying: these data are incorrect.  Check my services and I saw that installer has been set to start manual and thought it was install which caused SQL Server to think that I needed from the download.  Set service to automatic and turned on.  Still no luck, still the same error message when you try to download the installer.  Any ideas?

  I am trying to download my 2006 version of MS small business accounting on my NEW computer which has Windows Vista as operating system. I downloaded all updates and it still not open. I click on the software, and it shows that it is opening. Then he said that a problem caused the SMBA to stop working and MS will give you a solution for the program and it will stop runnng but then I don't get any information.

  A "cable modem" is not the same thing as a "fax modem" and cannot be used to send faxes.  You need either a real fax-modem and a telephone line or Internet service that sends faxes for you, in order to fax your current configuration.
