  Then I realized that when video taken of any of the sony gps cams are always located on the card micro SD... the creator of action sony software can switch to select the memory card reader drive letter and it automatically sees clips have gps for speed information.

  Simply import the files via 'PlayMemories Home' to your computer to get the video and GPS files on your HARD drive.

• x 230 webcam problem after update 8.1

  As the title suggests, after the upgrade of the x 230 to windows 8.1 that my webcam is not working properly. Any program that tries to use he sees just a camera with an x on it. The webcam led is on, but I can't get a picture.

  I was able to solve the problem. Basically for anyone who has similar issues after upgrade to 8.1 Windows follow these steps:

  1.) press Fn + F6

  You open your settings for camera and microphone in the modern user interface. You should raise a pop asking you if you will allow an update of the parameters.

  2.) click on Yes, then when the file is finished downloading run it.

  3.) after that installation, you will need to restart.

  4.) after restart press Fn + F6 and click on the setting of the device. Uncheck private and your device will work once more.

  I must say that I really like the way lenovo has implemented these settings under Windows 8. Very smooth and well done.

  My only complaint is the Update Wizard could have easily scored it as a necessary upgrade and do it without having me to watch autour.

  This happens usually when the import process was not completed. If you have the original camera card - or a copy of the computer of the map - you can probably use the re-import command (on the file menu) to fix things. In addition, it is possible that the original media is imported, but this transcoding was not. If you have chosen to optimise upon import, try to select clips in the browser and transcoding to optimized.

• created archive camera - clips in case of lack?

  Been bickering a lot of material.  Summer camera archives first, at the same time make a power of attorney.  Everything is fine.  If the last attempt, I suddenly have a problem.  There is only an single element in the event of archive of the camera once created.  I look at the file of the archive itself and that is the appropriate size.  When I do a 'import' and check the file from archive of camera, everything is there, dozens of clips.  But there is only a single element of this archive in the event itself.  ???  So what happened to all the other clips?

• mix of MultiCam - audio cam and audio desk clip? How?

  I have 3 clips - a cam with audio mediocre, an another cam with fair on audio camera (including public environmental sounds) and good quality audio directly from the desktop.

  I have create a multicam video and want to then mix the last two audio sources.

  I don't see how to do this.

  Edit the multicam clip in a project. Select the one you want. Use the components expand audio. In the Inspector in Channel Configurations, adjust the desired channels. Assuming you want to cut the image for audio, the easiest way is to detach the audio and to cut the vision angle Viewer.

• How can I prevent imovie 10 to delete clips from my camera when importing?

  I just noticed that when I import my video into iMovie 10 clips get deleted from my camera. I don't want to do. How do you prevent iMovie to do this?

  I can't find anywhere preferences.

  Look in the iMovie > file > import media... window.  Your imported clips may be hidden in iMovie rather than actually removed from your device:

  

  Uncheck the box if necessary.  If the files reappear to iMovie clips from your camera, your camera should be OK.

• Clips on a shoot with two cameras

  I'm was scheduled to begin shooting a film in a few days, which will involve my F55 and an F5 as second camera. For installation, there will be a PMW-200 as the third camera. Just called me to say the naming convention clip that they wish to use for both cameras, and I just got the eggy conversation where I explain that this is not possible right now. The firmware was updated. To come. Blah blah.

  The cameras will be time synchronized jam.

  I wonder if someone has suggestions for how unambiguous and easily differentiate between the two cameras. The ideal would be to change the clip naming, perhaps in the content browser, but I don't see a way to do this.

  Thanks for this Leon. Clip browser it and let the wrangler data to worry about this. We are actually recording to SxS rather raw, so I hope that with my setup enough vanilla and a very little bit of tweaking things must be upward. I intend to shoot mechiers at the head of each location.

  You may be able to use Windows MovieMaker to extract audio from your video file, depending on the format.

• First CC multi clip - adding markers for each camera.

  I use the latest version of first CC 10.3

  I'm editing with a sequence of the multi clip and when I add a marker in the window of my multi source clip marker seems common to all cameras.

  I want to add markers specific to each camera.

  Anyone know if it is possible for the markers to be visible only to the camera selected in the multiclip? (or for the selected camera view a collection when the marker is relevant for her?)

  The only work-around I have found so far is to color markers, a color for each of the cameras - which is a pain and time consuming.

  First of all, Premiere Pro has no capacity multi-clip.  It is the CPF.  You work in Premiere Pro now.

  Premiere Pro has blocking abilities, but it uses some sequences nested for the work.  And since the sequences and elements behave differently for certain things, including markers, there is a difference over a simple semantics.

  If you want to apply markers for the original clips, you must open the Multicam Source sequence.  Right-click on that in the tray, and then select open in the editing.

• opening project CS5 in CC6 - edited clips my camera just in the wrong place in the images

  Can anyone help with this one... I built my project in CS5 and has not used any feature mulitcam, but simply aligned images of my two cameras manually.  Now I'm trying to open it in CC6 polishing and color, etc.  When I open the project file I don't get mistakes and just rename the project file.  When it opens in fact, all of my B-camera clips are correct, but all my clips in camera camera-has moved to other sections of the sequence and are totally screwed up.  I checked the frame rate on everything in media locations in 5 and 6 to ensure that nothing has changed in the transfer and checked the sequence settings in both institutions.  None of the publishers I know have experienced this problem.  Please help if you can!

• All clips in my sequence of multi camera went black

  After spending a long time, editing a sequence of multi cameras, all the clips have now gone black. The waveform has disappeared, but the audio is not yet. Other clips on the same timeline, including another sequence mulitcam all seem to be good and I can't identify exactly where it happened in what concerns the measures I did.

  The last element in the sequence multicam has diagonal white lines through it. I don't know if this is related? Online forums suggest it's something to do with the insufficient media, but I don't really know what that means. The camera angle ends before the other, it's the only thing I can think of that would cause the white lines.

  I have attached some sceenshots I hope clearly the question - can anyone help? I'm desperate: I lost several hours of work! Thank you!

  I have it solved! (With the help!) It turns out that the original source multicam file has been deleted. I was able to return to a previous AutoSave and import it into the current version of the project and add a link to my sequence for it. So relieved to have solved this problem without having to re - edit. Thanks again for the help!
