• XOOM telecom 3.1 update

  Is that going to upgrade to 3.1 or 3.2 at some point? I have the 3G version, but no update does seem to be available yet. News when it will broadcast Telecom NZ.

  The 3.2 update is only deployment to the U.S. Xooms WiFi only. I have the USA 3 G Xoom and our updates should be tested by our carrier, first (Verizon here, I guess Telecom for you). Google launches and tests the update, the carrier carries out its tests, Motorola off pre test then the update is released. However, I believe that the international versions are different from our national versions, if they always come from Google.

• Xoom: failure of system updates

  Hi, I have recived bot updates htk55 and htk57 and when they were installing in mid-way through a yellow exclamation jumped upwards, then it restarted, and when I checked the Tablet section in the android version and build number settings have not changed.

  any ideas?

  problem solved I flashed just the stock image to 3.0.1 and then updated all the way up to 3.2.1 build htk75d.

  A new update has begun to push today for all Xooms to 4 G/LTE. The HLK75F update is NOT related to ICS, so don't start not lead your Champagne bottles again! This update is an upgrade from Verizon HC to support talk 4G maintenance. I got this update at 16: 30 et today, then you may want to start checking your Xoom awaiting daily updates starting tonight.

  If the update failed, your Xoom should recognize the update on hold when you check and then try upgrading again. You were on a questionable WiFi first where the signal may have been discontinued? It is the most common reason that updates fail.

• Future updates will come from Motorola or Google?

  When Google will release an update of Honeycomb (as to enable SD card), we will be able to install this update immediately or need for Motorola to personalize it in order to release it then to the Tablet Xoom?

  And is there something that will tell us about the Xoom when a Xoom firmware or an update of the OS will be available for installation?

  I know the way that the apps tell us when there is an update but I don't know if it's the firmwares in a way even or OS updates will show.

  I would like to know when my Canadian xoom will get the update.

  I know that on my Tablet Xoom Firefox has the update by synchronizing bookmarks. And there are 3 vertical points for the parameters. On this phone, I see not the 3 vertical dotted lines for the parameters. But no matter who. I assume the above 4 lines are bookmarks already there. But this is not synchronization of bookmarks I have on my other browsers? Any help would be appreciated. Are boy we not all the hungry for help. I'm trying to solve myself, but with something new, it is best to ask. I'ave never had an Android phone. Thank you very much!

When I select download, downloads of the file, but when I attempt to load the update I get the android guy with an exclamation mark in the middle. I can get an update indicating message failed. I rebooted it many times & I have also done a system restore, any final in the same way, download failed. can someone tell me what my problem is with my Xoom tablet. Thank you

• Very slow WiFi on the 3G xoom with update 3.2

  Hi all

  Was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

  I bought the unit a few days before and same day updated to Android 3.2 version. I use internet on my Wifi at home and have a Netgear - WGR614 router. Browsing speed is very very slow and do not open many of the sites.

  The intensity of the signal on the xoom is - (asu 3-105 DBM).

  Is this a problem with the Android 3.2 update or my wifi at home is low? I was able to reset the tab to the original version?

  Yes, you don't need to have a wireless plan. A WiFi connection (anywhere) will work. They organize the updates into groups, so your Xoom will let you know when the update is available for your device. The Xoom will automatically check when a WiFi connection is available.
