Feature SR520 DMVPN problem

Hello people,

I have a serious problem with SR 520 and feature cisco router, what is written on the paper!

On the cisco site, I found that SR 520 support DMVPN, I ordered the router and it came with IOS:

(SR520-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4 (20) T6. Later, I found that it does not support

Protocol PNDH, which constitutes a basis for DMVPN feature and speak-to-speak of VPN tunnels.

I guess that the problem is in the IOS version that comes with the router.

Tell me please, if you know, is the problem and the IOS version which should choose?

Should I take later (12.4.24T6) or some special release?

Thanks in advance,

Vladimir

Hi Vladimir

Support DMVPN on SR520 was indeed only added 12.4 (24) T so I suggest you go for the last, which is 12.4 (24) T6.

    Hello!

    I would like to help on my installation of DirectX. Another problem is that I don't have a lot of knowledge about this software so if anyone knows how to this problem, I would really appreciate if you can teach it me step-by-step.

    Now go to the problem, my office uses running very well until I tried to start a few games one that needs directx and other need a card level DX9 (Unity Web Player). The games I run made me a few mistakes and some are worse which operates the same.

    I tried to solve the problem by updating my directx, but it doesn't seem to work. Here is my system, and information display (from DirectX Diagnostic tool)

  • DMVPN problem with 2 hubs

    Hello

    I dmvpn phase 1 with 2 hubs, 20 rays and eigrp, HUB1 is main and HUB2's backup. If HUB1 works any traffic from rays go to HUB2 immediately in a few seconds, but when HUB1 gets traffic from rays automatically goes back to the HUB1 after 20-30 minutes and it is too long, it's problem.

    command 'Show dmvpn' on the screens of rays which tunnelle to HUB1 are PNDH, and if I use 'session claire encryption"command manually on any traffic spoke of this talk past immediately to HUB1.

    A month ago I tested and it worked fine. but when I last tested time 2 days ago, this problem occurred.

    What should be the reason and how to fix it?

    Sorry for my English, I'm new to dmvpn :)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi George,.

    I see two possible event which would explain the behavior that you are experiencing.

    (a) change of State DMVPN.

    (b) change in the routing table.

    You can troubleshoot each of the question above to identify that one is at the origin of the problem and then isolate him.  To begin, you must make sure that the DMVPN stay in a stable 'up' State.

    You mention "pokes displays tunnels to HUB1 in PNDH State"-this confirm DMVPN is 'stuck' and not fully operational.

    I suggest to consult a few details of useful troubleshooting here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/dynamic-multipoint-VP...

    Take a look at these details:

    ~~~
    Interface: Tunnel100, IPv4 PNDH details
    Type: talk, PNDH peers: 2,.
    # Ent Peer NBMA Peer Tunnel Addr add State UpDn Tm Attrb
    ----- --------------- --------------- ----- -------- -----
    1 192.168.1.1 172.28.1.1 UP 1d21h S
    1 192.168.1.2 172.28.1.2 UP 1d21h S
    ~~~

    You get output similar in your configuration, if you want to keep an eye on the time of "UpDn", as it will tell you how long the DMVPN has been upward.

    If the DMVPN remains stable, while you experience the problem, then focus on the routing protocol that you use in the troubleshooting dmvpn tunnel.

    If the DMVPN is unstable, check the connectivity between the spokes and hub NBMA Address and connectivity remain stable.  "you can use ' debug crypto dmvpn error and debug error PNDH dmvpn" to help identify the problem, if it is associated with DMVPN.

    There is a lot of support in my suggestions, because you have not posted the configuration :).

    But it would be useful that you post the config.  Good luck with your efforts.

    Thank you

  • DMVPN problem

    Hello together,

    I have a dmvpn with double hub and ospf configuration.

    I had we spoke and now has added another spoke. but I don't want the two rays to open a tunnel between them, I want that all traffic passing through the hub.

    with "mode gre ip tunnel" on a RADIUS the RADIUS do nothing, I don't see the 2 hubs like ospf neighbors more. the hubs are configured as follows:

    interface Tunnel0

    bandwidth 100000
    172.16.5.1 IP address 255.255.255.0
    no ip redirection
    IP 1400 MTU
    test of PNDH IP authentication
    dynamic multicast of IP PNDH map
    PNDH id network IP-100000
    property intellectual PNDH holdtime 600
    dissemination of IP ospf network
    IP ospf priority 2
    delay of 1000
    source of tunnel GigabitEthernet0/0
    multipoint gre tunnel mode
    tunnel key 100000
    Tunnel ipsec profile protection profile
    end

    and the rays:

    interface Tunnel0
    VPN description
    bandwidth 1000
    IP 172.16.5.13 255.255.255.0
    no ip redirection

I just want dmvpn phase 1

    My old computer used to print in a variety of sizes, including the contact plates, which is really useful. Now, the only option it gives me is to print a 'full page photo' does anyone know how I can get these options? I tried to play with the settings and had no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    Have you installed the latest full featured Windows 7 driver/software package for your printer since getting your new computer? If not, Windows can use a generic driver with fewer features & so your problem.

    If your printer is old, a generic driver may be all that is available. Please visit the support pages of the Web site of the manufacturer of your printer for further compatibility information and Windows 7 drivers.

  • 7520 HP / Compaq presario problem

    I have a Compaq Presario with Windows Vista.

    I bought a HP 7520 and installed ok.

    However when you click on the HP icon it sometimes fails to load the Printer Wizard and asks me to install another printer.

    The only way I can get it to work is to uninstall and reinstall.

    Someone has an idea of what is causing this please.

    Hi OLDBRP,

    Welcome, pleasure to work with you again I see that you run into a few problems with the HP printer Assistant, sometimes it requires that you connect a new device and you must uninstall and reinstall to use it.

    I would firstly allowing you to run HP print and Scan Doctor- designed by HP to offer users the features and troubleshooting problem needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products

    Once you run the PSDR, please let me know what it finds. You are now able to use the wizard of HP printer, without having to connect a new device?

    Have a look here: HP Printer Wizard opens the window "Printer Setup & Software"

  • Cannot migrate VM between 5.5 ESXi versions: the version of the product to the destination host does not support one or several CPU features

    We receive an error message that I am trying to make sense. I understand very well the notion of compatibility, CPU, CPUID, masking and so on, after working on a competitor hypervisor. However, this error seems wrong (or needs better wording) based on my understanding:

    Here is the message:

    ----

    A general error occurred: the version of the product to the destination host does not support one or several features of the CPU currently use by the virtual machine.

    Characteristics of CPUID level 0 x 1 'ecx' register are indicated with a '1' bit: x00x:xxx0:xx0x:x 000: x 0 11xx:00: 00xx:11xx

    ----

    This happened during the migration between two hosts ESXi with the same physical processors - in this case, a Westmere X 5650.

    The source host is on ESXi build 2068190 (5.5). The destination host is on ESXi build 1474528.

    The bits it seems to complain are:

    DTES64

    Monitor/MWait

    Cx16

    PDCM

    The punch line seems to be: "the product version of the destination host. However, I have trouble believing that support for these features have been added to ESXi between the two versions. If it were, VMware has been certainly silent about.

    For what it's worth, explicitly set us the CPUID masks in our virtual machines (no, CVS is not an option for us at this time.) This is the mask:

    CPUID.1.EAX = "00000000000000100000011001010001".

    CPUID.1.ECX = "00000010100110001110001000111111".

    CPUID.1.EDX = "10001111111010111111101111111111".

    CPUID.80000001.ECX = "00000000000000000000000000000001.

    CPUID.80000001.EDX = "00101000000100000000100000000000".

    cpuid.d.EAX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    cpuid.d.ECX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    cpuid.d.EDX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    Note that the bits of the message complains (2, 3, 14, 15) * are * in fact forced to '1' in our mask of cpuid.1.ecx. That means (if I understand correctly), ESXi does not have the virtual machine unless the host processor supports the feature. And in our case, the virtual machine will start with happiness on nodes, with both versions. It will be not simply migrate between them.

    So, long story short, is this a bug of ESXi? The error message is misleading? I understand something?

    Thank you

    Matt

    To use the masks feature VM in this way, you must replace all the 1 to your masks with-'s:

    CPUID.1.EAX = "00000000000000-000000 - 00-0 - 000-

    CPUID.1.ECX = "000000-0-00--000---000-000---".

    CPUID.1.EDX = '-000 - 0-0 - 0-

    CPUID.80000001.ECX = "0000000000000000000000000000000 -"

    CPUID.80000001.EDX = "00-0-000000-00000000-00000000000.

    cpuid.d.EAX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    cpuid.d.ECX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    cpuid.d.EDX = "00000000000000000000000000000000".

    Zeros erases the features that are not available on your hosts Westmere, and dashes will leave the other one features.  The problem with those masks was forced to you certain features on who would have normally been off.

    Hey Adobe, there are many examples of this I have a lot of your programs. Stop thinking, to create new features. These problems and create faster workflows.

  • Flash to Acrobat workflow of Illustrator problem

    Tried this Acrobat forum first, then it was suggested that I try the Flash forum.

    I have a workflow that will Flash to Acrobat to Illustrator (all CS3). A circular object looking for perfectly smooth in Flash becomes divided into a series of straight lines when printing to Acrobat 8 PDF driver. It looks like a version of connect the dots of the intended purpose.

    I tried a few custom presets to distill with and without the selected function "convert smooth lines to curves". With this feature disabled the problem is reduced slightly, but still quite obvious. I get the same results when you use the feature to preview Mac OS x PDF - segmented effect is somewhat reduced.

    Is it possible to keep my smooth curves in Flash?

    Thank you!

    Chris, that did the trick! EPS preserves the curves. Such a simple and elegant - solution a real front firing pin. Why didn't think of this?

    When I place the Flash-exported EPS file in Illustrator elements out of the bleeding on the cause of the cardboard image be misaligned compared to the edge of the page. However, this is where Acrobat will be useful again. Combine all 100 + EPS files into a single PDF file, which has the effect to crop the image and makes it easier to open in Illustrator. I'd go nuts trying to do those by hand.

    Really appreciate your wise advice!

    The problems are gone now. However, I'll never know exactly what that caused them. When I restarted the computer in safe mode problems continue. But when I tried to restart my computer does not recognize the hard drive in safe mode or in normal mode.

    It is possible that the Firefox problems were caused by a faulty hard drive.

    I was able to rebuild the directory with Disk Warrior and transfer my files, but the disk would not boot. Fortunately, I had a spare hard drive. I installed and reloaded all my software and data from scratch. I also downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Firefox works fine now.

    Thanks for all your suggestions. They may not have fixed this particular problem, but I learned a few new tricks from you to solve other problems.

  • New tab setting to load URL

    I had the installer of Firefox to make it work the way I like it and the last update added "suggested sites" for new tabs. I recognize what they / you are trying to create new features, but I don't like this feature. No problem with that, but I want my standard page in return she used to load. Details are always available on: config and browser.newtab.url, but he is no more responsible for this page. I removed the details for suggested sites and now it loads a blank page with a search bar. Any suggestions?

    Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use an add-on like tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

    Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

    Note, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

    You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.

    If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

  • Firefox crashes when you open windows close

    Hello

    Since updating to the new Firefox 18.0.1 every time I try to close a few open windows Firefox crashes. I would be reading my mail and after having about 10 open windows I go and check on the X to close the windows. I can close about five to seven of them with no problem but when I have about three of them left Firefox crashes. It is very annoying. I used the Firefox Safe Mode feature and this problem does not happen while in Safe Mode. I don't know what the next step is to fix this problem. Could you please help. Thank you

    If there is no problem in safe mode, this means that one of your "Add-ons" are the source of the problem and no 'plugins '. You will need to disable your "Add-ons" one by one to find the culprit. If you have Norton Toolbar 2012/2013 then that may be the one causing the problem if not it is an Add on the origin of the problem.

  • Hits search engine - shortcuts for next/previous page?

    It is probably more features than of problems, but I would start thinking here.

    When you use a search engine (my favorite is multi-engine DogPile, URL below), usually there are a number of pages of results. At the bottom of each page, there are a limited number of page number links and the other for 'next' (maybe one for "previous").

    This may well depend on the specific encoding used on the site. But is it a shortcut that works almost anywhere to activate the link "next" without actually scrolling for her?
