• Backup error ReadyNas DUO - «read only file system»

  Hello community,

  I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having with my ReadyNAS Duo (v1) running Raidiator 4.1.14. At night, it is running a backup job that copies a file from a computer on the local network to the NAS itself. What often happens is after a reboot for a while, things work sometimes days, sometimes weeks. But then I get e-mails warning that contains journal like entries:

  CP: cannot create the file ' / backup/projecten/./CAM_strip/01_v0.1.JPG': read-only file system

  Usually this warning is given for each file (which means thousands) so that emails are big enough. And obviously the backup has not been made. I tried to solve this problem and sought similar questions on this forum and on the web, but nothing helped. I can't identify what is the cause.

  Maybe you could help me the grace to some of the run settings, I can tinker too. I guess it has something to do with the ownership and rights to access these files and folders.

• read a file line-by-line ascii

  I'm new with CVI, and I need to read a file ascii with several lines in the following format:

  at_test_2_to_13 = 0.861000
  at_testabcd_9_to_21 = 0.712000
  at_abdgx_5_to_8 = 0.892000

  Here is the code to write to the ascii file:

  sprintf (ctResult, "% s=%f\n", TestName1, result1);
  WriteFile (fileHdl, ctResult, StringLength (ctResult));

  A moment later, I need to read the text file, find the name of test (for example, "at_testabcd_9_to_21") and record the value after the sign '=' (in this case 0.712000). The number of lines in the text file is not fixed.

  I write data to the file without any problem, but I'm right in the reading of the data.

  I'd appreciate any help in writing this code in CVI.

  The INI file is the way to go on this case.

  With the help of a colleague, I used the following to create and read from the ini:

  I can't remove the read-only my files (at least in the photos).  It is provided with a solid box, not a check mark and I can't remove it.  I need to edit and print photos, and I don't know what to do.  The only software I have installed is a HP printer wireless on my home network.

  Is there another account administrator user on your computer?
   
  Note: It is possible that change a read-only file can cause a program that relies on the file to stop working properly, so be sure that it's okay to change a read-only file before you proceed.
   
  Cannot change files read-only, but they can be copied, moved, renamed, or deleted. Therefore, try to Rename the file or perform one of these operations and check if that helps.

• Webworks Application error 'could not read a file file://.

  I properly packed and loaded my first Webworks app on my Playbook. Now that I have here, I need test and debug. The application works fine on my local IIS computer so I knew that I should make some adjustments for the Playbook. Now that I'm here, I don't know how to do in this regard.

  When I run the application on the Playbook, I get this error as soon as it starts:

  Unknown network error

  Cannot read a file file://

  The application is an HTML5 app that used jquery (not the mobile version again), web services, css and images. I have all the js, css and images files in subfolders. Then when I zipped the applications I have selected all HTML pages and subfolders. I guess that was the correct way to go for that package manager is run without problem.

  I'm new to this kind of things together mobile/tablet for any Adviser is greatly appreciated.

  I have it! my index.html was wrong in the config.xml file. I had written the Index.html file with a top of case 'I' but in the config.xml file, he was using a lowercase "i".

• WebPlayer Yahoo 'buffer' permanently and never reads local files

  I installed the webplayer yahoo to play MP3s on the html page. Works very well on the net. Read files, it is continually buffereing and does not play. Operation of the display flash flashes in mode live view DW, the box of css in the right corner. The flash screen moves at half speed. It seems that the webplayer is somehow interfering with the flash and vice versa. Anyone seen this before?

  Very probably a path issue.

  ... Don't have no idea what a "webplayer yahoo to play mp3" or how it works.

  But the action (or action) that you describe looks like the player is not finding the audio file... probably because the path to the mp3 is wrong compared to the player.

  Only guess--since there is no way for us to know what your "working version" of the imbedding code reader mp3 is without a link to the actual Web page...

  of course, it's another format darn owner, so you will need a copy of Windows media player for mac.  (or VLC) there is a way to convert, however, but I suspect it will not free

  I've just updated my 10.11.4, iMac OSX and now my FCPX project on an external drive keeps getting a message "read-only file system!  Does anyone else have this problem?  I was wondering if I should reduce my OS to the previous version, where I had no problem to access my library...

• Stor.e TV 1.5 TB - not able to read .avi files

  I transferred .avi files from my computer on Stor.e tv and for some reason the icon on the left is a question mark instead of the usual.

  Not only that I am not able to read .avi files.
  The strangest thing happened only in some of the files (4) I was transferred.

  Hello world! My name is HP slate 7 HD 3403ea. I'm having some trouble reading PDF files. That day, after that I bought my tab, I transferred about 25 PDF files from my handset to this tab. I could open all the files then. But a few hours later, when I tried again I could open only a few files, about 8 of them. I couldn't open the rest of the files. They showed "cannot open the file because it is not a valid PDF document.". Let me say clearly that all files that cannot be opened in my HP tab, can easily be opened by any other official bulletins, for example: my HTC handset or my HP laptop. I tried different things. I uninstalled the antivirus thinking that may be the cause of the problem, I tried various recognized appstore PDF readers, but none worked. Only 8 or 9 files can be opened now. I deleted all files "disabled" what we call, then donated to them. But it's the same thing. Each file can be opened immediately after the transfer, but none could be opened after a few hours. Help, please. Thank you.

  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that you are having problems to open PDF files on your Tablet HP Slate 7 HD.

  Try to clear the cache on the tablet. You can do this by going to settings > storage > cached data. This should prompt allows you to clear the cache on the tablet.

  I also suggest to try the App PerfectViewer. To read PDF files, you will also need the PerfectViewer PDF plugin. These two are easy to find in the Google game store by searching PerfectViewer.
