FFox loads VERY slowly, even with disabled modules, but has normal speed in safe mode. How to fix?

All webpages to load slow and jerky. Same with the video. I tried refreshing FFox, disable all add-ons and uninstalling/reinstalling. None of this has worked. Then I tried safe mode and it worked: pages loaded normally. My OS is Windows 7 Professional. I used FFox for many years, but it is not usable with my current problem.

Thank you!!

Hi aaltman,
Other people had the same problem before, maybe it's because of the settings in your firefox. Please look for the solution to your problem:

One possible cause is security software (firewall, antivirus) that prevents or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • My iPhone 6 loads very slowly and sometimes it takes like two trials for the symbol with the lightning to appear. I think he might have a problem on the port of loading

My iPhone 6 load very slowly. And sometimes other cables works instantly on my iPhone unlike my sister who has the same phone as me. My sister does not have this problem with our cable. Also the battery becomes low too quickly.

In the last months, I use as a class a lightning because here in the Philippines, original iPhone cable cables look like $25. My sister also uses the same cable as me but she has no problems

I had problems with some websites load incredibly slowly and direct to other websites very slowly. Some of them I can't access because it says my connection has been reset. One of them where it says the connection has been reset is YouTube, but when I go to a video through a direct link everything okay.

What else is odd, is that blogging on Tumblr is loading very slowly for me, but the dashboard went very well and load perfectly.

You can try to disable IPv6 (also check other possible causes).

  • Where is the help on the topic: "restart with disabled modules.

In aid of the menu choice "restart with disabled modules" is trying to find out what would be the consequences of this command, but I can't get any result on this SPECIFIC command. If I try, I definitely will disable my Add - ons?

I have to ask this question because I've had nothing but problems with Mozilla Addons lately, especially the themes.

    I'm tired of Firefox

Basically what the restart with disabled modules is it closes your Firefox and them it opens in safe mode, which is a temporary mode where all add-ons are disabled, and the settings are set to their default values. It helps you to be able to test and see if your question is without third-party variable. Then, when you close and restart firefox, it starts as before without Add-ons.

What problems with modules you meet specifically?

  • Application module is not a root app module, but has no parent

    Hello

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0

I created a pl/sql procedure and he ran in the SQL worksheet, the procedure worked very well.
After that, I created a method in request Module to access the procedure of the h. The client interface of the method was created and accessed the procedure and the procedure has worked well.
After I created a View object and attached to the AM and let fall the attributes of the VO as a form on the page and tried to access the method in a bean to support am, there had to be two parameters passed to the procedure, that's why I took the AM method with a bean of support.

But inside the AOS, there is a following line of code:
    stmt = getDBTransaction().createCallableStatement(str.toString(), 1);
On this line, an error is being run, like this:

< font color = "red" > oracle.jbo.InvalidOwnerException: Houston-25301: Application ApplicationModuleImpl_6 module is not a root app module, but has no parent < / make >

    Why does this error happen?

    Thank you

    DemoImpl demo = new DemoImpl();

You can't do that. Sascha has suggested, the problem being that you try to create an instance of AM in the wrong way.

The best way to do this:

    (1) make sure "prop" is exposed on the client interface
    (2) add a link to your definition of prop page. Bind the parameter values as the case

  • A few days ago, Google started to load very slowly in Firefox, but not Safari

I have Firefox 13.0.1 on Mac OS X. A few days ago Google pages implemented very slowly (taking a few minutes to perform a search or open Gmail). I've had no problem with Safari - Google pages loading instantly here. And the ONLY site that I have problems with the Firefox Google. I tried to clear my cache as someone suggested. That did not work. I tried to disable my extensions and plug-ins, but that did not help either more. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I found the solution to my problem in another thread: https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/928182#answer-339386

About: config, I changed 'network.http.keep - alive' to 'true' and now Google works very well. I don't know what caused the problem in the first place, but that fixed it for me.

  • After xp reformat, pages load very slowly

Recently reinstalled XP, I know it's difficult to diagnose problems with computer through forums, so I'm providing as much detail as possible. I have the same firewall, some of the same programs, same version of firefox, different av (disabled for a test, no change). I use a d-link adapter in a home network, there is no change, & there is NO MALWARE on here. I can't understand why every site I click loads so SLOWLY. Before the reformat, when I had a few problems of operating system, the pages loaded quickly. You would think that after a reformat, its similar with a new pc once again, that this would not happen. The pc boot faster that before, without problems for you to connect to any site, just very frustrating having to wait anywhere from 10 seconds to 45 seconds for a page to load. I understand there are different variables that come into play, to connect to a site, but it happens on all my favorite sites & anything I click on that. If anyone can help, I'll check back on here regularly to answer as soon as possible. THANKS for your time/help.

Let's just double-check something basic with the network... just to play it safe.

Start with http://www.pingtest.net/ Please share your results.

  • Initially Web pages load very slowly, but are a lot faster if I stop and reload the page

Whenever I have initially load ANY page of a Web site, the first page really takes a lot of time to load. All pages of this site is loading very quickly thereafter. I also noticed that if I stop the loading of the page, immediately after my first click and then click on reload, the page loads almost instantly. I am currently using Firefox 20.0.1, but this problem has occurred for a while... at least as far as Firefox 19. According to my research, I've tried a bunch of suggested solutions, but nothing helps... including: off hardware acceleration, don't select any proxy, disabled ABP, etc.. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello stw203, maybe try to reset all the related settings in your network configuration. enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & are looking for any preference, starting with the network in bold (= set of users) - do a right click and put these entries to their default value.

  • Thumbnail photos load very slowly or not at all in Explorer.

First version of Win7 beta and I remember thumbnails worked well enough... but once I installed the RC and now the full version of Win7 Pro, the photos seem to take a long time to fill in the Solution Explorer. Sometimes they don't seem to be load at all. If I click on a photo, a small thumbnail load on the preview pane, but if I click on another image, sometimes the thumbnail of the image that I had just chosen then appears.

I tried different thumbnail sizes and it seems not to matter what size it is, there just problems to load the thumbnails. Other photos that are in the folder, the worse it is. I know that the Explorer was not really designed to handle thumbnails of loading for 10 000 + images, especially on a 100 MBit WLAN... but it's really bad when compared with Windows XP Pro. I never had these moments of miniature overload in XP.

    I thought about it!

At least for me, it was a setting in the Advanced tab of the network adapter.  I have a Realtek Gigabit network card and one of the parameters must have been missed incorrectly.

I changed the 2 following settings to "disabled", and he immediately started working very well.

    Disabled IPv4 Checksum Offload
People with disabilities large send Offload (IPv4)

Updated Realtek driver or a driver update Microsoft must have missed one or two of these parameters incorrectly.  I don't know if the two values for people with reduced mobility had to be done, it may just be one of them.  But once it worked, I just didn't want to play with it more to understand than it was.

    Update:

In other research I have narrowed it down to make it just the Large Send Offload value.  Is located on "activated" whenever I update the driver Realtek to the latest version.  If I then go and set it to "Disabled", everything works fine.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones loading very slowly via USB power supply laptop

When I use the wall charger, my fine storm costs.

But if I connect it with the sync cable to my laptop - laptop is turned on with the BB Desktop software running (and I can confirm that I have a backup of the BB Desktop software then the drivers seem to work), the storm is charging is very very very slowly or not at all.

Is it supposed to load OK via USB to the laptop power?  How can I go on troubleshooting this?

Your question is not a problem, but normal and the answer "why" is simple. Wall charger puts out simply more power that the USB port on your laptop needs to (or can). In general, any single USB port is 100-150mA (and can be lower if your running on batteries and the system is allowed to control the ports), while the wall charger is to switch off a little more (700mA)... constantly.

Not to mention that when connected to the laptop there is communication that passes between the device and the computer, especially if you use the Desktop Manager, which makes peripheral 'work' and try to reload at the same time. Sometimes the ' workload ' can be greater than the rate of charge, so why he does not pay at all.

IMHO, load your device with the supplied charger. Only use your computer to charge your device in case of emergency. If you insist on charging the system with your laptop... Plug in your laptop computer, close the Desktop Manager and Device Manager and it should load a bit faster.

  • I tried 'rebooting with disabled modules' to get the Favorites icon on my page. He didn't stay in place. What now?

Just setup my PC with Mozilla firefox. My start page did not show the 'star' in the upper right click to view the list of favorites. I searched the statutes of the solution and tried to restart with the disabled modules, which actually does that restore 'star' Favorites. But there are no when I open a new tab. How can I get my firefox browser to keep the stars and not lose him again?

If the menu with the bookmarks menu bar isn't visible, then you will not see the bookmarks Menu button.

You get the orange Firefox menu button when the menu bar is hidden.

    • Firefox menu button > Options
    • View > toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
    • Right click on empty toolbar space
