file autorun.exe lack

Cannot install the software's message that autorun.exe is missing

Hi Petercubelo,

A. what application you are trying to install?

B. is this error with a specific application?

C. you are able to install the same application on a different computer?

D. you get this error when you start the installation, or after a certain time?

Let us try the following methods.

Method 1

The autorun.exe file could have been corrupted. I recommend an auditor of the system files on your computer, which will scan your computer for the corrupted system files and replace them accordingly.

1. click on the Start menu, choose all programs, then on s accessory, then right-click on the item to the command prompt and select run as administrator.
2. click on continue to allow to open a prompt with administrative privileges.
3. run this command in the cmd prompt: sfc/scannow
4. the cmd prompt should list text stating "start system analysis. This process will take time. »
5. wait for the scan to complete (this may take several minutes, so be patient).  This command will scan all protected system files and attempt to replace the incorrect versions by appropriate Microsoft versions
6. once the analysis is complete, the SFC tool will indicate whether or not it found no problems and whether or not he was able to correct
7. If any errors are reported that SFC could not resolve, there are steps in this knowledge base article which explain how to locate and attempt to correct the errors.
8. after fixing errors that are found, try to use Windows Vista Media Center again.

Alternative method is to remove or rename the Autorun.inf file in the root folder of the affected drive.

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Method 2

If you try to install the application using a CD or DVD, and then try the following steps.

1. click on Start > computer.

2. right click on the DVD drive and click Open.

3. This will list all the files on the CD/DVD.

4. double-click on the exe file and start the installation.

Hope this has been helpful.

  • lack file g7i0ol_kaz.exe

Recently, I ran a cleaning Spybot Search & Destroy, and the next time the system starts, I received a message that the file g7i0ol_kaz.exe is missing. The name in the title area in blue at the top of the message window is RunDLL.

I created a small file in the location of the missing file, but the message has changed from missing to invalid. He said that it was not valid for a Win32 program.

If I close the message window and continue, the system feels no particular effect. Everything seems to work normally without the file, but I'd like to get rid of the pop-up window at startup time.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello

    1. What registry fixing software do you use?

    Method 1.
Let us scan SFC and check that it prevents this error to occur.
Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.
To do this, follow these steps:
    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

More information on SFC scan found in this document:

    Method 2.
Best thing you can do is to perform a system restore just before where the problem occurred.
I have listed a few articles that explain the system restore in Windows 7.

  • D:/autorun.exe is not a valid win32 application he came up with this error when I try to install a program on a disk and it is really buggin me

It is in these exact words and it's annoying me like crazy can help pleae somone

    Hello

Thank you for joining Microsoft Community!

According to the description, it looks like you get the autorun.exe when installing a program on a disk.

However, we need more information to help you better.

Please help me answer this question.

    1. is the particular problem with a particular program?

    2. is the specific issue when installing a program on a particular CD?

    3. what program are you trying to install?

    4. What antivirus do you use?

The probable cause for this error 'not a 32-bit application valid' can have several causes:

I have listed some of them below.

The file is corrupted, bad or missing.

    a. If the hard drive is damaged or badly it cause work programs to fail, either because not all data can be read from the hard drive the program is damaged on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk to check for potential errors.

    b. If you run the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer, you can get this error.

File is not designed for your version of Windows:

    a. If you try to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows, you can get this error.

    b. Although numerous older programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will not work.

    c. If the program is an MS-DOS program more former start program or Windows, you get this error.
    d. If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.

File is a virus, worm or other malicious program file.

    a. this error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, Trojan horse or other type of malware file. Often, this will result because the antivirus installed on the computer will not allow the file to install or run. Try to analyze the file to check, it is not a virus or infected.

    (b) if the file has been checked and is clean, it is always possible that the virus protection program or a another program installed on the computer is at the origin of questions during installation or execution of the program. Start the computer in Mode safe and try to run the program, start the computer in

Safe mode will ensure that nothing is running in the background that could cause this problem.

    Hardware incompatibility.

    a. If you get this error during the installation of a program, it is also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive that you are installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or has drivers that are not compatible with Windows.

    b. download the latest drivers for your CD player or other of the manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of the equipment. (Microsoft does not pilot for other materials)

Provide us with more information on the issue to provide a better solution.

Check if the game is compatible with Windows Vista Compatibility Web site.

In the meantime, I would suggest you follow these steps and check to see if they help.

    Hello

Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.
.exe question difficulty in the next message.

Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    1.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software.

    2.
Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

I allocated enough space RAM and HARD drive of the virtual machine to run Windows 7. No matter what I do, when I try to run setup.exe, I get the error message: "the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x7E].

OK, so, this response is a little late to come, but if you never solved...

I just encountered the same problem - editing similar (Mac, Parallels 5 in my case, the SP3 of XP, MS Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade) - you must make sure that the DVDROM drive hardware is mapped to "D:" on your XP installation. Thus on the Parallels Desktop menu go to devices, CD/DVD1 and make sure that all your actual DVD player is called is selected (should be the vertical entry in the menu) - not true CD/DVD. The reader should then start and auto run.
