file extension association to open only a single instance

I see this question posted in several forums on the internet, but I'm not able to find a definitive and functional solution. Here's the problem:

When I do a combination of file extension to my request, if I select more than one file and then select open from the context menu, I get multiple instances of my application, one for each selected file.

The same commenting on my application, I already put code to limit the app to run a single instance. Normally works, however, by selecting several files and then by selecting the command open, it seems that the code that check whether a previous instance is running realized too late, the system starts already several open orders.

Is there a way to tell Windows to open the list of files selected in an instance unique app? If so, how.

Remove a completely file extension association

I received a file which is a compressed executable file. Like a ZIP executable file, which when double-clicked, will run and automatically extract multiple files. I've accidentally associated with Adobe Reader, if the file behaves as a .pdf file. I want the file to have no association with any program, I want to just run it. How can I remove the association of a file extension, then it will work as an .exe or .com file?

After the reinstallation of greenfield, store Photoshop CC on a new machine with windows 10 (I used photoshop on w7 before cc) particle works is no longer.
It always displays the following message:

How open only a single clip in the source monitor Panel?

OK, the answer to this question may be simple... If all goes well...
Right now whenever I open a clip in the source monitor Panel it adds to the drop-down list.
Well... but I'm opening and closing hundreds of clips per day, and after a while I noticed that it seemed to slow down the entire system PPCS5.5.
It seems that the PP seems to keep each clip I open... active.
Is it possible not to allow only a single clip to be open at a time in the source monitor... other than having to close their first? (would be ideal if there was some sort of shortcut as shift-doubleclick)

No, nothing like this. I do not think that this opening up of dozens or several clips in the Panel Monitor Source would lead to slowing down the system important (at least, I never noticed this). I suppose there might be some kind of memory leak, but I'm not sure.

What is your source footage? The system seems more sensitive after you close the clips in the Source monitor?

file extensions will not open

Some extensions of file, like .ged, will not open on my computer. Is there a way to fix this?

(1) make a backup of your file on-line.

(2) download the reader and run an anti-virus program before running the Setup.

(3) drive test

file extension cannot be opened

My daughter has a Slimline 400-034pc. It is currently running 64 bit of Windows 8. This morning she told me that she could not open the extender 'file' you can hover your mouse over the folder and can see what it is - but it does not open on the screen. So tht means she can see his hard drive or external hard drive. We did a system restore in the hope of making it work. Who have done nothing. Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

File extensions do not open

Hello

I tried to open the files Mini.dmp and could not open. So I changed in Notepad or something. I can chose the wrong ext ension and nothing works in many other files. Help, please... When I go into Control Panel, Folder Options, File Types and try to change, do not click nor doing nothing even if the option is there? I don't know how to reset the file system.

Changed all THE files and programs to open ONLY in adobe reader. I can't change back. How can I fix it?

Am just this side of being computer illiterate. You do not know how I did this but have changed all my programs and files to open in Adobe reader, which as you may know... they do not open. I had to go through back doors just opened my internet explore. It becomes a problem. My friend tried to do a restore, as nearly 2 months back and that didn't change anything either. I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader. Then set the default program for the file accordingly.

Follow these steps to uninstall Adobe Reader software.

a. click the Start button and select Control Panel.

b. Select uninstall a program

c. Select Adobe Reader in the list, and then select Uninstall.

OS Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium on laptop HP dv6704nr. I have issues. My system restore won't create restore points and I am able to select some options in the Panel. Can someone tell me how to recover my Start button, the taskbar and the desktop. I've tried Ctrl + ESC, consulted task mananger and typed explorer.exe without success. I see some options at the bottom of my screen such as the zoom level, filtering option and the mode protected Internet etc. There is no clock, battery, speaker or other standard options. Please someone offer some advice.

Can someone tell me how to recover my Start button, the taskbar and the desktop. I've tried Ctrl + ESC, consulted task mananger and typed explorer.exe without success. I see some options at the bottom of my screen such as the zoom level, filtering option and the mode protected Internet etc. There is no clock, battery, speaker or other standard options. Please someone offer some advice.

There is no workaround or hack solution. It is not possible to open several files in a single window in Acrobat/Reader 9.

Cancel the default program to open a specific file extension

Trying to open an attachment with the file extention .zmc I accidentally agrees to always open this type of file with adobe reader. Do work, but I can not cancel the default, only change and I don't know what to take. Any ideas?
