  I have a project with a client's long-term and they need of a specific file naming scheme: number_YYMMDD_00001.cr2 of the project

  I would have already begun a manual name model that added a sequence # (00001) at the end of the file, but must I manually check the last number of the last import of sequences and manually enter this number + 1 in the sequence number to each import. There must be a way for the sequence # automatic update for each import? Maybe if I had applied a model of the first import name? Other sequence options Total # and #-importation of those would be better?

  The starting point is defined in catalog preferences.

  Edit/catalogue/file processing parameters.

  You will see a box marked 'Imported Photos', the counter for the number of image.  Your said probably currently 1078...  You need to change that to number one less than the first desired for your numbering to start image.

  The only question is I do not know if it works correctly for rename (if that's what you're going to start by making)... it is certainly used only works for imports (but it was a few years ago, it could have been fixed, just be wary first).

  IPhoto files that you reference numbers simply file names assigned by the camera. Right-click on a photo, and then read the information.

  You need a DVD decoder.  Maybe VLC media player will work.  If this isn't the case, you will need to buy a program to read these files (or DVD) on your computer.

  How can I insert a file of numbers in my document pages? I tried to copy and paste, but the numbers file exceeds a single document page and document only adds a new page.

  Pages V5.6.2 only will allow you to insert PDF and image files supported.

  Select the cells of v3.6.2 of numbers that you want to appear in v5.6.2 Pages and then copy the selection to the Clipboard. Open Preview, then choose in the menu file: new from the Clipboard. You now have a PDF file that is not registered in the preview. You can then save the PDF file, and then drag and drop it into Pages, or copy the content of the PDF preview to the Clipboard and then paste them into Pages (in PDF).

  Once you have a PDF of your selection of worksheet Numbers in Pages v5.6.2, representation you can select the tab reorder and click the original size, scale and then rotate 90 degrees to fit the provision in the Portrait.

  I use a 13 "MBA (early 2015) and tested iWork. I'm pretty well satisfied with Pages and Keynote, in fact, I think they are better than their counterparts of Ms. However, I think that numbers 3.6.2 requires a lot of improvements to make is easier to use.

  Suggestions/problems I find are:

  1. Formula bar: the floating formula bar is extremely painful. The braces are not visible and if the formula is entered in a cell at the extreme right of the screen, I don't see even what I type the formula. Lock the position of the formula bar in a place like the top of the screen and make more visible braces.
  2. Graphics: To add plot data graphic existing are much clearer in Excel than in number. Please do not complicate and have a dialog box and add simple data plot similar to excel. The current is not obvious and even tutorials are absent in this regard.
  3. AutoFill: Excel has an AutoFill button located on the lower right of the cell cursor, just double click on will apply the same model/formula down the column. It is a well used service for anyone who uses spreadsheets and please do it as simple as, rather than to reach the menu bar to autofill.
  4. Formula database: must be updated on the equivalent with excel.

  First, you must learn to do not use Express VI.  (Look in the finder example for examples on the IO files)

  1. you have no good control on the way in which access to the data.

  2. you put the annoying dynamic data type that hides that data are and allows you to jump through hoops to get data out of it.

  Second, you need a loop.  Right now your code is configured to only run as a single shot.

  Here's how you can read one line at a time with a 2 second delay.  (Note that the reading text file has been defined in its right click menu "read lines").

  

  Another alternative (and probably better), would read the entire file at once and then only index the values in the table resulting in a loop with a 2 second delay.

  The express VI are some operations that could be easily dealt with native LabVIEW code.  Would like to get rid of these express VI.  The first formula node has some pretty basic with as well.  The largest node formula could also be done with the LabVIEW base operations, but logic programming going on in it is complicated enough that I would probably leave this formula node as it is.
