  I find that shortcuts alt + numeric keypad work fine in the body as well. Thus, for example:

  a = alt + 132

  Ä = alt + 142

  U = alt + 154

  O = alt + 153

  Etc., there are lists of all of these shortcuts on wikipedia.

  Some additional information. I received these photos of my granddaughter of my son with Dropbox. Then, I took the original photos out of the folder of file they were in. I went back to LR and made sure those grey boxes with the Preview is not available for this file was missing. Then I went to the new files with the status of unlock in a new folder and tried to import into LR... same thing happens again! UGH

  Could you please copy the images of Dropbox in a new folder on the computer/pictures folder.

  Also, then try again to import images into Lightroom and also please check if you have read and write permissions on the images.

  So here's my solution:

  1. go on the Web for hp Support site

  2. go in the software and driver download

  3. set the language of driver on the language of your choice (in fact: it was the main problem)

  4. download an operating system image

  5. run the configuration tool and copy the image of an operating system on a flash drive

  6. restart the workstation and install the os

  7. take advantage of your computer ThinClient in the language of your choice

  It is as it's supposed to as an anti theft precautions. I mean that data is encrypted, if somebody stole your hard drive and the hard drive boots and the other account it can receive data.

  If you not export recovery certificates and encrypting the data, you cannot redo the decryption.
