  Just a slight correction, for the alert. using a forward slash is not now with what you're going to get back, that will be all the backslashes normal. You need a double backslash:

  I used document.referrer to determine if the page has been loaded through the path of development and if so load of debug code. Now firefox has been updated document.referrer returns the domain without the path. Is there way or workarounds to get the path of the document.referrer?

  The solution most obvious workaround seems to be to add a parameter to the URL that you use to embed in the page, assuming that FB that allows.

• Path of the invalid document

  I use acrobat reader app on my iPad Air to fill out a form that once complete I then use the button share and open in echosign. After selecting "sign in person" and filled out the information on the form I then press "Sign Now". After a few seconds, I am asked to switch the unit to the signer. by pressing 'OK' on this dialog then shows the message 'invalid path Document '.

  For the moment we handle them with an excel sheet. All links to these files are there.
  
  To improve the treatment, I would like to use my APEX Application instead of Excel.
  
  -> Files must remain on the servers-> no BLOB-download
  -> We need a collection of links to files
  -> The Oracle database A No. rights to access drives. HAS local access drives user rights.
  
  
  My goal: a button that makes:
  
  -When you press: open 'Open file' - window
  ((The user navigates and selects a file))
  -Display the link/path to the file in the P41_LINK_TO_FILE textfield
  -Save this link/path as new entry in my link (Finally, that I won't need help with this step ^^)

  I have two news for you, a good and a bad...

  I managed to create a test page to simulate what I explained, but it turns out that, probably because of the usual 'security concerns', browsers are hiding the path of the actual file.
  If I use Firefox it will return only the name of the file, if I use Chrome, it returns something like C:\fakepath\filename (even though my browser runs on Mac...).
  After a search on the web for similar information, I understand that there is no solution due to javascript security restrictions.

• Showing the full path of the file in the Save as dialog box

  I'm a relatively new for MAC OS and I took the habit of intelligent services on Microsoft file manipulation, in particular to the Save as dialog box. Who has a little smart "arrows" and "buttons" allowing you to ask around the system of files easily, but I faced something else in the MAC operating system.

  Finally, I was able to pass on the path of file bar in the Finder (basically, that nice, small bar with the name of folders/sub-sub-sub-folders you can switch to and it shows "where you are both in the file system"), but I don't miss the Save as dialog box. I tried to find it in the settings to turn it on, scoured the internet, talked with experts at Apple, also called the central phone number, but I couldn't learn all solutions to get the bar path of file under tension to the Save as dialog box.

  And believe me, it's very annoying, when you create a file structure when you register under ' week/Tuesday/XY client Documents/work/approvals/journal/2016/August/2nd /' a file and for the recording of the version changed the same file under the same path, but not to not only return to the file a subfolder creation there AB of the customer, I have to click again through the whole lot.

  The arrows 'story' don't help because when I click on the it puts me directly to record under the folder where I have the last recorded the previous file, or help click on the drop-down above, where records are listed because I could never find the subfolder where I want to go back to there.

  Unfortunately there is no way to recover this key and HP nor Microsoft have no trace of this.

  Instead, I might try to wipe the entire hard drive first and then reinstalling the operating system using the recovery disks and see if this helps the course ends.

  First of all, using another PC, download and install Killdisk on the link below - (this application will write zeros to the entire disk).

  Access the application of disc kill you have installed in all programs, open the main folder, then select Bootable Disk creators, then the BACK Bootable CD Creator that will burn the ISO on a blank CD bootable.

  During the following process do not worry about all warnings as your recovery DVDs will reformat the HARD drive.

  Insert this CD into the laptop which is unable to load the operating system properly. Close Notepad, and then start again to boot from the CD of Killdisk and follow the instructions on the screen to kill disk.

  A brief description of the process here is Killdisk.

  Use it to wipe the entire hard drive, Select (80 h) and press f10 (you will also need to type a confirmation and press enter) - ( This will make sure to include all of the partitions , and then start the process - this may take a few hours!).

  When the process is complete, remove the CD of Killdisk, insert your first HP recovery disc and try the installation again.

• additional folder added based on the current path of the vi when compiled in executable

  I found a new problem (for me) with the 'current path of vi' work today. When I compile the source code into an executable, I get a strange response from the service.

  I expect to see 'application.exe\application.vi '.  What I see is "application.exe\folder\application.vi. It's ruining my normal routines that address automatically step of removal of additional path that is required when moving between executable files and source code. I understand that I can use the "Application Directory" function and it does not solve this problem. However, as a test, I created a separate program with only the 'path of vi current' function and it worked again normally (application.exe\application.vi). There seems to be something specific to this one application that I don't understand.

  I tried a force all recompile (ctrl-shift-run arrow) and this did not help. I created a new project with the same source, and this did not help. I recorded the source under a different file name file and created a new project for this new source file and it did not help. I was using the function of the path of the current vi twice in top level vi, then I changed to use it only once and it did not help.

  I'm running out of ideas, and it is a project big enough that I really don't want to start over. The extra folder is the path to the file source vi. Any ideas on what would cause additional file information to be inserted in the path returned by the function of the current path of the vi?

  I use LV2012

  Generally, you shouldn't care how exactly screw are stored inside the EXE. If you care, this means that your code relies on it, which is a problem. What follows is general and can be inaccurate, simply because I don't like enough to actually check OK how it is:

  1. The EXE file is basically a folder zipped with the screw and the runtime of LV simply loads and works.
  2. If you use the indicator 8.x, you get a flat structure in the EXE. This is not your case, and I would not recommend it in any case.
  3. If the flag is set to false, LV basically takes all the screws that must go into the exe (static libraries dependencies and included screws) and places them in the EXE file using the same exact folder structure as code. This allows to undress and to build paths and having the code works the same way.
  4. Code that is located in the LV folder (such as the vi.lib code) is placed in a top-level called 1abv1ew folder, so it can be found.
  5. If you need to get the path of the folder, use the app dir VI.
  6. If you need to get a path to VI, use a static reference to the VI and a property node to get its path property. It works in dev and EXE.
  7. Virtual folders are not relevant (that they are not paths). AutoFill files are linked on the disk, so they do not reflect the path, but it's not really relevant. Jeff was simply pointing out that this may reflect the path and that he does not like them.
  8. Most likely your problem (since you say that something is changing) is that you are sometimes a VI that is not in the same top-level VI folder hierarchy, which then changes the top-level folder in the EXE (I'm guessing a VI of another project?). It's pretty easy to check by going to the project files tab and see if you have screws to another folder.

  I hope this helps explain, but as I said, you should generally not care on this issue. The only good reason I can think to need to know is if the paths inside the EXE exceed the limit on the length of path of the operating system, and then you start dealing with that. Except that just use the golden rule that screws inside the EXE will have the same structure as they did before, and to put you outside the EXE should use the app dir VI.
