This looks like something that is caused by a Shell Extension.  If so, try to download the freeware "ShellExView" software and running it.  It displays all currently running shell extensions.  Start by looking for entries ".jpg" in the file Extension column and start to disable them by clicking right on it and selecting "disable."  Work by trial and error and when / if you find the one that is causing your problem, the solution may become more apparent.

    How can I convert .ai files in jpeg format?  It seems that I am only able to get the .ai files and my Adobe Photo Elements program does not recognize the file.

    I want to continue my membership with Adobe, however, not if it requires some additional software purchase.

    For .ai files, you will need to use or know someone who uses Illustrator or another program compatible .ai to convert. If you access a page of image details before license you can see the file type.

  • I want to just convert my PDD files in JPEG format.

    Try the Organizer by selecting thumbnails and use the menu:

    File > export as new files

    Choose the type of jpeg file.

    Or open individual files in the Editor (Expert Mode) and use:

    File > save as

    Choose the jpeg format.

  • Need help to export files in Jpeg format for printing

    I'm quite new to this, so any help would be appreciated. I use Lightroom 3 and need to export files in Jpeg format to put on Smugmug for printing. My understanding is that I put 300 PPI, in measuring the "size to fit" and the width and the height, I'm a bit confused. I'm trying to find my size of the original file that I can't find if I can put it in the right dimensions for export. My problem is that I want to export by batch and I need a way where I can export there will be minimum smugmug in culture when people are going to buy prints. I'm looking for the best image quality for printing without losing parts of the image due to the size of the file. Thank you very much!

    The size of the image are in the metadata Panel of the library Module.

    If you want to allow people of the same image to print sizes, then they will have to crop the image to the right size on Smugmug. There is no way to avoid it. I know that you said you don't want to crop the images, people, but users MUST make a crop so that the image has the same proportions as the print size.

    Similarly, if you want to allow people to print 4 x 6 or 11 x 17 or any other standard size, then you must provide as many pixels as possible. You can not, to your computer in Lightroom, choose settings that match all of these possibilities.

    So, again, I recommend that you download the whole photo, without culture and without resizing to the default PPP. Nothing else will not provide the end user the flexibility to print in different sizes.

  • How to convert tif files in jpeg format?

    I have a mixture of tif and jpeg photo files and want to do all the jpeg down load in a Sony TV. It accepts only jpeg!

    Hello

    You can do this by using Scripts and Photoshop Image Processor.

    First of all, go to file > Scripts > image processor

    A dialog box opens where you can choose your source and destination folders and the type of file that you want to save the images. Once you have your preferences set, click 'Run' and there you go! (Note that 12 is the value of higher quality, you can to save it as a jpeg script)

    For instructions on how to do this by using the bridge + Photoshop, here's a helpful video:

    Good luck!

  • I can always save files in jpeg format even that I have disabled the download permission

    I want to share my confidential PDF file to someone, and I want to read online and can't download it

    So I disabled the permission to download, Yes, there is no download button on the sharing of a page, but you can always use the browser to save a jpeg image.

    SO, WHAT'S THE POINT!  IF I CAN RECORD ANYWAY WITH OR WITHOUT A RIDICULOUS BUTTON DOWNLOAD

    If post you something on the web that which has been downloaded to your machine... There is no way around that.  There could be an option to not have the updated file cached using html/css/javascript coding, as you don't find it in the cache, but that is something you need to ask people in the Dreamweaver or another forum on the design of web sites.  In any case, if the thing is available via a browser can also be captured as a screenshot and saved as an image, and if they have managed to tame something to prevent this, they cannot prevent a person pull out a camera and take a snapshot of this way...

  • When I export my file in jpeg format (so I can send to the printer) the picture is too small.

    not sure if it of the settings or how to get the right size for printing online.  at present it shows really small on the site of the printing company to the top

    What is the size of your document in Indesign? The printer requires a jpeg file? Most would a pdf.

  • Download of the files is not supported. Only files in JPEG format can be downloaded

    Hi I trying to upload pictures from iPhoto to pictures and seem to have hit a problem. I downloaded about 3 000 photos, but now I get the above error. The error pops up in the middle of an 'event' of 174 photos in iPhoto. The first 120 download very well while the rest just doesn't work. Same camera, same day and all the images show as being JPEG no matter who got a solution for this?

    Thank you very much.

    And now some kind of response...

    Go to iCloud by using Chrome and now downloading the images. Not a good ad for Safari.

    Exactly how you "send" iPhoto to Photos - the usual thing to do is to migrate an iPhoto library Photos that keeps all of your history and your organization

    We cannot see you then you will need to provide details to help us

    And you do not use a web browser to migrate Photos in iPhoto

  • How to combine multiple scans in jpeg format in a single file on an hp Deskjet 2050 printer.

    I have a HP Deskjet 2050 connected to a PC running on Windows 7 64 - bit OS, it is necessary to download a single file containing a number of analyses of images and documents, the site only accepts the path to the file in jpeg format, but not in pdf format which is quite simple to do.

    Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

    Hello

    The JPEG file format is not compatible HP MultiPage, whatever or any other software used to create the file.

    PDF or TIF files are supported by this feature, I'm afraid that you will not be able to perform this function in the form of JPEG file.

    Kind regards

  • Definition of DPI when you save in JPEG format

    Hello

    Periodically convert us batches of Adobe Illustrator files in JPEG format in various sizes and resolutions, after making a few adjustments for them.

    Our old process for this cause change the image from Illustrator, saving a new file HAVE, then using ImageMagick with a variety of options to control the output.

    Since then, we have converted most of this option to use a JSX JavaScript program to perform the conversion in Illustrator, using the SDK exportFile method.  This works for most and is much faster than before.

    The thing we've done with ImageMagick we can not quite figure out how to do from Illustrator is set the DPI of the JPEG image.  Here's what we do in ImageMagick:

    converted - density $infile 400-resample resize 300-2500 x 2500 - space color RGB $outfile

    The options are fairly self-explanatory, but there are many more details in the ImageMagick command line reference.

    Tips on how to do the same since the SDK of the Illustrator?

    Thank you!

    -Scott.

    Documentation of Illustrator for Java Script contains the answer that is available from:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Illustrator/scripting/

    HorizontalScale and verticalScale properties determine the resolution. 100 by default would make the artboard at 72 DPI (default), 200 would make at 144 DPI.

    The example below would export to a 144 DPI JPEG. The example is taken from the Java Scripting guide, and I just changed the horizontalScale and verticalScale properties (appearing on the previous page).

    Export current document to dest in JPEG format with specified
    options, dest contains the full path, including the file name
    function exportFileToJPEG (dest) {}
    If (app.documents.length > 0) {}
    var exportOptions = new ExportOptionsJPEG();
    var type = ExportType.JPEG;
    fileSpec var = new File (dest);

    exportOptions.horizontalScale = 200;

    exportOptions.verticalScale = 200;
    exportOptions.antiAliasing = false;
    exportOptions.qualitySetting = 70;
    app.activeDocument.exportFile (fileSpec, exportOptions type);
    }
    }

    Note that Aaron is correct, it is actually off-topic for the SDK and on the subject in the forum script.

    LR 5.7 cannot find my files already edited because I accidentally deleted them. I have original and exported raw files edited JPEG images on an external hard drive. How to get back on LR the possibility to repeat already published photos complete with a history of editing? Thank you.

    Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive. Thanks again.

    In the Organizer, you can use Find > details (metadata), the type of file in JPEG format, and then click search.

    The chic Lady

    File > open to open your eps file

    File > export to export your image as a jpg.

    In the export dialog just below where you type the name of the file is a type of file, which is where you choose jpg.

    Whatever you do, do not delete the eps file. If you need to access the original you have.

    I recommend instead of jpg you choose psd, tiff, or png and jpg don't use that to share. Jpg is a lossy format, which means that whenever you modify the file and save it, degrades the quality of this file. The formats that I recommend are lossless formats, you can edit all you want that data is not being ignored, unless you choose to do so.

  • How can I convert ASF files to JPEG

    I have a camcorder DV2500 - small and cheap, but it works.  The pix, that I used to take and put on my computer had jpeg for an extension. all of a sudden was last year the extension ASF when I saved it on my computer and other computers can not open the ASF files. How can I convert ASF JPEG?

    Whoa... now say you they are video files? That's what I
    suspicious, and of course change to JPEG will not work...
    So what happened to the idea that it was JPEG image
    files? Maybe I just misunderstood your original question.

    If you need to convert ASF files to another
    format of... WMV would be a good choice.

    The following information may be useful:

    There are many converters available on the net... some
    free... some detail.

    The following freeware converters are a few examples:

    (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
    Restore point before installing software or updates)

    (1) Sothink Free Video Converter
    http://www.Sothinkmedia.com/video-converter/
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

    You will need to unzip the file... or you could just drag
    the Setup.exe from the file out of the folder and drop it on your
    desktop and install from there.

    Once installed... Open Sothink and go to... Add the files button...
    Find and select the clips you want to convert.

    Next... in the encoding settings... Choose... Video credits.
    WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv).

    Choose an output folder and on the left, click on the button convert.

    You can experiment with other settings later but
    This should help you get started.

    (2) format Factory (freeware)
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
    (the file you want to download is: > FFSetup270.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
    ('all' boxes on the last screen)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

    First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag FFSetup270.exe out of the folder
    and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

    Next, after the download and installation of Format
    Factory... you can open the program and
    left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
    "Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
    (this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

    Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

    Select "all to WMV" / OK...

    Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...
