  I found the issue! If I have the view in the open dialogue / place Illustrator to display column and sort by date, I get the problem. If I change to view by name, or list view, then I don't get any problems. As you say this isn't a bug in the CC but only CC 2014. His are obviously not happy with integration with views of Yosemite 10.10.1 by date.

  You can open all databases in a unique environment, with just a cache? Happens usually better, because Berkeley DB can share the cache based on access patterns.

  That said, an increase in size of the memory can be caused by a leak of any where in the application - it may have nothing to do with the cache of Berkeley DB. Have all of the tools that could help track where the memory is allocated? If you're on Linux, valgrind (http://valgrind.org) is great for this sort of thing.

  I think it is a bug. I uninstalled Acrobat and reinstalled Acrobat v11.0.0. I tried the link and it works properly. Then, I installed each both updated and tested the hyperlink. Update 1-10, that the link works. However, when the 11.0.11 update is installed, the "Go to a page in another document" hyperlink stops working in browsers. V11.0.12 installation does not solve the problem. If I uninstall Acrobat and install v11.0.0 with updated v11.0.10, everything works fine.
