Fill the screen

I want that my background image to fill the entire screen. What is the size I need to do or there at - it a way to automatically fill the screen?

You can use the picture as fill for browser so that it covers the browser screen and should be the same with any window size.

  • Firefox does not fill the screen

    Hello

Yesterday I had Firefox and explore (ugh!) browsers open at the same time, as I just changed my site on Yahoo Small Business Solutions and Firefox would not save the changes (as a result, the opening of Explorer.) After I finished with the Web site changes, I noticed that there are some changes on my page of Firefox. It does not fit my screen by about 1/4 "on the sides and bottom, and the top is not complete as if it was - the office's bleeding through in empty space up there. Help, please! Thanks, Qz

Open Firefox-> click the maximize button to fill the screen completely-> close Firefox

    • Restart Firefox
    • Now, the window should open maximized

Check and tell if its working.

  • Games running in lower resolution on the desktop resolution does not fill the screen

I have a laptop HP ENVY 17 TS with NVIDIA GT 740 M and Intel 4600HD graphics drivers and running Windows 7. Whenever I want to change the resolution in games at a lower resolution on the desktop resolution, the game shrinks to its view, leaving the couple of inches black bars on the edges. For example, if my the desktop resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I want to start a game in 1600 x 900, the game does not fill the screen, instead, it leaves an amount of empty space on the edges of the screen.

In order to solve this problem, I tried the following steps:

I first tried to locate the view tab in the NVIDIA Control Panel in order to define the scale/stretch in "Full screen", but my version of NVIDIA CP isn't the view tab (my NVIDIA drivers are the latest version).

Then I discovered that I should do this in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. My Intel HD Graphics CP has an option named "Calibration" under display > display settings and it doesn't show the option to retain display scaling that is checked by default and does not change. Also, after searching the Internet I saw that some people suggested entering the 'advanced settings' and try to make changes. When I try to enter advanced settings, under view, it says 'this screen does not support advanced settings'.

After trying without success, I tried the update driver Intel via their website, hoping that it can fix the problem. I ran the small Intel application on their Web site that identifies my chipset and offers me the latest driver for this chipset. Web site told me that the driver is installed on my computer is 10.18.10.3304, and there is an update for what is 15.33.18.64.3496 (or 10.18.10.3496). So I downloaded the file, but when I tried to run, it gave me this error message: "the drivre being installed is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. Setup will now exit. "that makes no sense.

After trying the above steps, I'm not able to solve the problem, and I need help from someone who really knows how to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

    Solution (I hope)

    1. choose the properties of the graphic (logo Intel) option when you right click on the desktop

    2. go in view

    3. go through the resolutions on the 'Resolution' and change to this resolution (do not click Apply)

    4. for everyone to go to 'Scaling' at the bottom of the screen and change it to scale full screen (do not click Apply)

    5. Repeat until you get back to the higher resolution (that won't let you change the scale).

    6. quickly choose a few resolutions from the drop-down menu to make sure that they have changed their scale.

I had a problem with some resoultions changing the way they were, but which should solve most of the problems.

  • Ideas: Insert an error code or give a brief description of what you are trying to accomplish or fix.__media center tv shows only tv in the Center 3 "inches of black on both sides how I filled the screen

Television Media Center only one tv in the dark on both sides of Center 3 "inches, how do I fill the screen e-machines 600 GB

    Hello, Russell

Windows Media Center will use as possible while maintaining the proportions of screen space. If you have a TV screen and watch a video 4:3 standard, it will keep the bars on the side.

You can change the level of zoom in now the keys CTRL and shift and press 'Z' to scroll through the different zoom levels so that it fills the entire screen at your convenience, but keep in mind that you will not be able to see the full image if the proportions of the video does not match your TV.

  • Can I take pictures in my movie maker slide show to fill the screen?

I use Windows vista and windows movie maker to create my first slideshow. my demo, whether seen full screen or not, the images have wide black borders left and right. is it possible to have pictures to fill the screen? If so, it will become distorted and pixelated?  Thanks - dave

It looks like you may have a wide screen monitor
16:9 and your photos are probably 4:3. If it's the
case... Yes... the photos could be extended to read
full screen unless they have been cut (up and down)
to the same proportions as the screen of the monitor.

FWIW... the freeware PhotoStory 3 built in the
option of cropping photos to fit the screen... and
It is a great application to create video slideshows.

  • The documents do not fill the screen.

Why the documents that I opened not to fill the screen.  There is a border of 1/2 inch around the document.  If I optimize the document, it fills the screen.

Make sure that the last act of this show is maximized when you close and also expanded the program and make sure that close the program until you hit shutdown.  The next time you use this program, it should open larger (but not until you close the program - if you do this and open another window before closing the program, this new window opens also not full screen) at least that you shut up when not expanded not or it ends badly.  Sometimes this happens when the program turning off incorrecctly or abruptly.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Fill the screen at a resolution high/native

At the highest resolution (1920 x 1200, in my case), many web pages, which, only partially fill the screen... FaceBook only fills the third Center of the screen... Raise the CIO only seems to increase fonts around the borders... All boards of education seem to indicate I'm better off to native (1920 x 1200) screen resloution, but she shoots advantage of the size of my screen, and no ONE sitting with me can read the type... It is ideal for photos/videos, but not very good for reading... Any ideas on how to use the native resolution of this monitor fantasy and still have easy to use on a daily basis?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

This does not mean that you must set the resolution all the time at the highest setting. Put it in a position that
the best works for you. CTRL + CTRL - and CTRL mouse wheel all work as a ZOOM.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 8 on AMD Radeon graphics card is not completely fill the screen

Just installed Windows 8 Pro on a Dell Inspiron Zino HD with an AMD Radeon HD 4300 Series.

Display is a LG on HDMI monitor.

Installation went well apart from my screen Windows does not fill my entire screen.  I don't think it's something to do with the resolution of the screen, it's just the way that 'image' does not fill the screen correctly.

    Hello

Did you install these legacy AMD official drivers?
There is also a setting in the Catalyst Control Center associated with overscan (he has a slider).
This one should expand your image to fill the edges of the screen.

Currently with Adobe Clip all photos imported in the project show black bars on the left and right sides. In other words, they are not 16:9 and they do not fill the screen. Looks terrible.

I am under 12 items on a new iMac El Capitan v 10.11.

Problem, it's the Application completely fills the screen so there is no desk top to drag to or from. The elements can be resized? I see nothing in preferences or installation instructions.

Can not drag you upward from the lower right? Or click on the green button first, and then drag it.
