filmmaker will not save project

I am trying to save a project with windows movie maker so that I can put it on dvd. Whenever he gets to 92% and then displays one of the following values:

does not

Unable to save film sorry - lack of find the files or remove unusable items in the project

computer does not have enough memory

The file is1033MB & consists of JPEG & MPEG & music files. I'm sure it's the latest version of movie maker had as only the pc since Dec11.Have tried to save low resolution but still no joy.

Any suggestions, this is so frustrating - I removed almost everything from the laptop in order to free up as much memory - showing only 1.42 GB of free disk space. Please answer the easy to understand format that I'm not very focused on the pc (although my son-in-law also tried to solve without success!)

You posted in a forum XP, so I think you
Run Windows XP? I was expecting
an old system of 6 months for Windows 7.

1033 MB would be a huge project file... What is the
This file format (extension)? It is possible
the project exceeds the resources of your
System. Creation of much smaller projects can be
your solution.

BTW... 1.42 GB of free space is practically none of these
days... maybe it's time for a bigger hard drive. 50%
free space is what I prefer to maintain.

Also... I would suspect incompatible source files.
MPEG files are problematic in Movie Maker. If you
get to use MP3 files for your music... they
can be problematic.

Best bet would be to convert the MPEG files to
before you import into Movie Maker WMV format.
The MP3 files must be converted to WMA or WAV.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

Photos - bmp
Video - wmv
Audio - wav, wma, wmv

There are many converters available on the net... some
free... some detail.

The following freeware converter is just one example:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Format Factory (freeware)
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup295.zip<>
(FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
(Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag > FFSetup295.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

That should do it...

Good luck...

    Hello everyone

Recently, I made clear my PC and reinstalled windows 10. Came with it a re-installation of Premiere Pro.

Since then, whenever I'm trying to save my old .prproj files, the backup window appears, but no Yellow progress bar should be seen.

No matter if I click on 'save', ' save under ' or 'save a copy '.

I came across this old thread will save not project in which the solution was to straighten out the administrative powers on the files (.mov, etc.) in their respective folders. Unfortunately, this did not help in my case.

I also deleted the 6.0 file in/username/documents/adobe/premierepro. but it did not help either.

No more than remove the settings by pressing SHIFT + alt before you start the first had impacted.

my project in another import was also futile that I couldn't save this one then.

What helped, has been clear all (files, sequences, etc.) in my project file. After that I could save the file which suggests that there is an error with the files involved in the project.

(apart from the question saving everything works great however.) I can edit and export any problem whatsoever.)

I'm quite baffled by moment, because trying to edit my film want to play one of these old games console of the 1980s where you could not save your progress.

I hope someone has another idea I could try, because now, I am all of them.

Well, I realized the file .prproj wasn't bad, as the removal of all the clips etc inside has solved my problem. So I took the tedious road and checked basically every folder and subfolder; Successfully (I'm if happy and relieved now it almost kills me).

I think that I've been using too many subfolders. I had like 10 cases stacked below the other. But it also could have been just a bad file inside project because I went in front of him and just deleted all of these subfolders and their items because I have needed them more never less.

  • Project will not save

Someone had experience with projects not wanting to save?  I said the other day that I have installed Windows 7 64 bit on a second partition, so now I can dual-boot with XP 32 bit or Windows 7.  7 has worked very well so far with the exception of this one project we have (that I had worked on XP in the last three months) will not save in Windows 7.

When I click on save or press Ctrl + s, save it dialog box appears, but the bar fills never at all and the program stops responding.  I don't know if it is a Windows 7 problem, or just project acting funny for some reason any.  If I have to finish this project under XP, so be it, but I noticed improvements in the time of rendering, etc. with Windows 7 and it uses actually our 8 GB of RAM, so I would stay with her as much as I can.  As I said, the other projects seem to be good.

If anyone has any suggestions of something to try, let me know.

    Thank you.

    Project sheet:

I'd be surprised if this will help, but it's a small effort and you do not hit anything if you don't shoot.

Is there a file somewhere that can be changed so that the username appears?

The Web site may use autocomplete = off to prevent Firefox to record the name and the password.

You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to register the name and the password of Firefox.

  • Settings of the mouse from Logitech G5 will not save.

I have Win 7 Prof X 64. I worked with Logitech support now for almost 3 months on why my setting of the G5 mouse will not save after a reboot. They had load me 5 different versions of the set point and to make all systems that they thought the change. They even sent me a new mouse G500, which has the same problem. After a reboot, I have to open the set point and close it, make no changes, and all my settings to start working. Set point is in my Start menu & KHALMNPR file is set to no load.

I have loaded the same software on my laptop, Win 7 Home Premium, and it works fine. It tells me that there must be a setting in Windows 7. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you

    Hello

You are able to save the setting for another application or a program?
Step 1: Try changing the setting in safe mode, and then restart your computer in safe mode again to check if the setting is saved.
If the settings are saved in safe mode, then try to perform the clean boot.
Step 2: You can try to create a new user account and check if the problem persists there.

If it works in a new user account, then you will need to fix the corrupted user profile. You can visit this link for the steps:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

Step 3: You can also check if the problem persists on the other computer and send back the same.

    Hi rkusa1,

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows forum

QuickBooks worked very well under Vista? It should also work reliably on Windows 7.

However, you may want to follow these steps.

    1. right click on your quickbooks start exe file and open properties.

    5. Choose install AMYUNI Technologies - Amyuni Document Converter 300 (click the button update windows if it is not on your list).

    6. If windows detects you already have a driver and then choose to replace the current driver. The printer name Quickbooks PDF Converter - do not share the printer - NOT set as the default printer. Finishing

    7. start right click - devices and printers - printer QB, choose printer - properties and go to the Advanced tab.
