  I have just updated to Windows 7 (32 bit) on my Pavilion dv9700t laptop and it asks me to update the keyboard filter driver.   There is no wizard Bootcamp in Windows. It is only on the side of OS X. You can download BC6 drivers for a USB (regardless of the Deputy BC) of the side OS X using BCA and run setup.exe in the Bootcamp folder.

  I guess you're Australian? For the English language, you have two options, to the United States or the United Kingdom. You choose depends on your keyboard layout. Take a look at your keyboard. Is the @ and ' button located on the line ASDFGHJKL:@~ of the keys? If so, choose United Kingdom. If the @ key is located on the 'number' keys choose the United States.

  Hello I am sorry to say that I downloaded the wrong version of Windows 8, which was the UK version. I have not noticed any difference on my English version of the original U.S. version except when I use the keyboard. Many common symbols is switched, which is terribly annoying as a programmer.   2. Choose change input methods
  3. Click Add an input method and the United States to choose a (I already had)

• Word of Suggestion not work - on-screen keyboard for Windows 8

  I chose the option to use the word suggestions as I type in the settings of windows 8, but when you type on the keyboard on the screen, I get no results.  No suggestion is offered above the keyboard as I type.

  "virtual keyboard" is ambiguous.   If you mean osk.exe the office window there is no suggestion in there.   They are given in the new touchpad (W8 replacement of the TIP of Tablet PC).    Hmm...  I've seen before, but now doesn't.   Maybe I trained my handwriting recognition, too well?   (I think that it can only display suggestions when I do a graphic error that he does not know how to guess correctly...)   And it just reminds me how incredibly frustrating is once I have some graphical errors to try to remedy.  Usually, I just give up, enter the text as it is and switch to a touch keyboard to correct typos it.  YMMV.

  When I run Windows Update it shows an important update available. "Update for Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter [December 2009] (KB905866).
  When I try to install the update, it downloads, create a restore point and starts to install the update.  The green bar goes all the way to the right and then I get a "failed" message with a 8007371B unknown error code.
  KB905866 appears in the list of installed programs.  I tried to uninstall and rerun the update of Windows, but he continues to go through the same sequence of activities having the same error message for result.

  I have an old laptop Dynabook Satellite of Japan with Japanese keyboard.
  When I reinstall the OS using the English version of Windows 7 64 bit, while the keyboard is recognized as a ' keyboard Standard PS/2 ", while the actual layout is PS/2 Japanese (106/109 key) keyboard.

  I work around to get the suitable driver for my keyboard but fails:
  -Some instructions say to change pilot in... Device Manager but here I can't find 'Japanese PS/2 keyboard (106/109 key)' (there is 'The Japanese USB (106/109 key) keyboard' instead)

  Keyboard use the standard Microsoft installation of some specific language keyboard is not necessary. Thus, the entry in the Device Manager is correct.

  If you use the English version of the OS by the default keyboard input language will be English. I have satellite A300 with Hungarian keyboard, but use Win7 English and there is no problem at all. Keyboard layout is a little different but unique key definition is the same as on the English keyboard.

  What I don't understand is followed by:
  If you use the English OS version of the keyboard input language is set to English?
  What happens when you type in a document?
  You want to change the keyboard with English layout?

  At the end I have to say that I n t have experience with laptop computers designed for the Japan, but I can't imagine it works completely different than notebooks for the European market.
