Final Cup Audio improve the Discussion

I'm curious...

Why the Audio improvements in Final Cut, for lack of better words, suck?  How is it that you are 'improvement' of the audio and it ends up sounding as if you were inside a tin can?  I'm just curious, because when you typically add a filter, it in fact "improves" everything you are working on.  Audio enhancement is entirely used for something else?  Maybe once out a 1000 x, especially background noise suppression, has worked the way it seems like it should work.  Like why the computer thinks that a perfectly fine tuned music video which is already been published by a production company has errors?  Looking forward to the cat.

Chris

PS

I noticed similar:

The audio above is apples own sounds iLife.

Out of the box 'Apple', he suggests using noise removal, is not.

This setting market gives you the audio effect "in a tin can".

Thing, it's a starting point not a final result, tweak, as required for the 'Sweet Spot' If audio was indeed need to remove background noise.

My approach is to connect a set of quality headphones and listen.

    Thank you

    There is no single application to "fix a cell phone" because there may be many different problems according to your terms and conditions.  Like any record, you can use the normal hearing range effects - noise reduction, maybe some EQ to help with the sound of together and so on.

    However, I must say that the usual problem with Audio from a cell phone video is simply that the microphone is too far from the source.  Professional videos using a mixture of microphones of shotgun on fish poles or a clip on lavaliers to get as close as possible to the sound source.  The bad news is: once you have saved of too far in a bad acoustic environment, there is almost nothing you can do to make a significant improvement.

  • Inspiron 17r - 5720 problems audio - static, hum, during playback of any audio and the sound of the speaker rear

    Hi, I got my laptop for less than a week and there are several problems with the audio. When no matter what audio is supposed to play, only a static noise comes from loudspeakers. This happens when the music plays, or when a sound system is supposed to play.

    Occasionally when I start the computer, the rear speaker makes a wooshing, a static sound (like a TV white noise) and will continue when I open programs.

    Hello. Unplug the power cable from the computer and listen on the batteries. If the audio improve, then you have a problem of material known with this model.

    The problem is documented in the FAQ Audio Choppy/jump. Look in the section for model Inspiron 7720 and 5720.

  • Satellite M105-S3084: is not possible to record streaming audio on the web

    I have a laptop M105-S3084 Satellite with XP MCE SP2. The sound card seems to be something called "Realtek High Definition Audio" on a bus to internal. The driver is 5.10.0.5200 dated dated 09/12/2005.

    This sound card and driver seems not to have what is necessary to allow me to record audio streaming on the web.

    I've been on audio NoticiasLA and determined that although with as SoundBlaster sound cards can save essentially anything that can be produced by PC speakers, this is not the case with the map I have in the Toshiba Satellite.

    For example, only flow for record in software like Audacity and others are 'Mic' and 'Line' all that is available with other cards is several other inputs (Audio mix, etc.) that the software allows to record the sound from the web browser.

    Other than to get another PC or sound card, is there a way to improve the capabilities of its Realtek High Definition Audio card? Others were able to achieve sound web using this sound card?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    I use two programs to record the sound from the internet sites;
    The first is wave-recorder and the second Messer.
    These two applications allow you to record from wave and convert and save files in MP3 format.
    You can choose the source of the record; the external microphone or wave.

    Check it out. In my case it works and I m very happy

  • How can I improve the quality of the sound signal tia sal22

    Hello all

    I have a VI that plays an audio signal on a sound card, but the quality is not great in real time when I change it.  I can create the audio signal in mathematica 6 and it sounds good but labview has a few problems can anyone recommend a way to improve the way in which the qualtiy of the audio signal sounds... I need to increase buffers or allocation of memory for labview, if yes, how can I do.

    TIA sal22

    PS I'm using labview 8.2 don't fix 8.5 this problem?

    Hi sal22,

    LabVIEW 8.2.1 (which seems to be the version you're using) automatically manages the allocation of memory up to 2 gigabytes.  LabVIEW 8.5 and later supported the use of up to 4 gigabytes.

    See the following articles in the knowledge base for more information:

    Also, I know that some changes have been made to lvsound2.dll in 8.5, the library of your vi uses to produce the sound.  In other words, if it's really a problem of memory, that upgrading to the latest version of LabVIEW can solve the problem.  I can't confirm this for you because my ears are not only very good .  But it's worth a try if you have a copy of available 8,5/8.5.1.

  • Movie Maker plays audio / video in the preview window, no audio on the table of storyboard / timeline

    Never had this problem before - I have downloaded the clip from digital camera to PC, then imported into Movie Maker.  He plays in the screen preview with audio and video, but when I add it to the editing view or the storyboard table, there is no audio despite the visibly populated audio track.  Volume settings show no inhibition and no adjustment of the volume level will bring the sound up. A lot of gel on, too.

    Something to try...

    In Movie Maker... try to go to... Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and uncheck all filters / OK.

    If no improvement... go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab... left click on the "All default settings" button / OK.

    If this does not work... it may be worth trying to convert the video clip of the. Before importing WMV format.

  • Any idea on how to implement the discussions threaded for physical record in URM.

    I have a requirement of implementation of the functionality of dicussion threaded for physical records in URM. It is currently only available for electronic records only.

    Thank you

    Vanina

    We finally reached by taking the output of the component box discussion threads and rename all the services, change some db queries (since all the material metadata element are present in different tables) and also by the way dSource = physical parameter so that the system makes a distinction between electronic and physical records. Also I am not suggesting to ovveride resources of the existing component rather get all resource definitions in your new device. This will eliminate the dependence between two components, and each will work independently.

  • Improve the performance of processing image javaFx

    Hello

    I'm working on Image processing with javaFx. I think my code isn't effective favorite (with pictures HD, refresh is very slow). Because I am doing a 'for' on each pixel of my image every time I have to refresh it. But I don't know how else to do.

    So I need help to improve the performance of my treatment.

    This is my code:

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import jvafx.beans.InvalidationListener;
    import javafx.beans.Observable;
    import javafx.beans.property.DoubleProperty;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.control.ScrollPane;
    import javafx.scene.control.Slider;
    import javafx.scene.image.Image;
    import javafx.scene.image.ImageView;
    import javafx.scene.image.PixelReader;
    import javafx.scene.image.PixelWriter;
    import javafx.scene.image.WritableImage;

            slider.setShowTickMarks(true);
            slider.setSnapToTicks(true);
            slider.setMajorTickUnit(1.0);
            slider.setMinorTickCount(0);
            slider.setLayoutY(700);
            slider.valueProperty().addListener(new InvalidationListener() {
                @Override
                public void invalidated(Observable o) {
                    value = (int) ((DoubleProperty) o).get();
                    color();
                }
            });
            root.getChildren().add(slider);
            color();
        }

                for (int y = 0; y < height; y++) {
                    Color color = reader.getColor(x, y);
                    double red = (double) value * x * y / (width * height) / 255;
                    double green = color.getGreen();

                    }
                }
            }

            public static void main(String[] args) {
                launch(args);
            }
        }

    And that's with full HD picture:

                src = new Image(
                    "http://www.freedomwallpaper.com//nature-wallpaper-hd/hd_sunshine_hd.jpg");

    As you change each pixel independently, there really is no other way than to use a loop through the pixels. Working directly with the pixel data, rather than use setColor and getColor (...) (...) seems to give some performance enhancements. And there are some general performance enhancements, you can use (reorder the loops, calculate the value used repeatedly, etc.). The performance of this version seems acceptable on my system:

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.beans.InvalidationListener;
    import javafx.beans.Observable;
    import javafx.beans.property.DoubleProperty;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;

    import javafx.scene.image.ImageView;
    import javafx.scene.image.PixelFormat;
    import javafx.scene.image.PixelWriter;
    import javafx.scene.image.WritableImage;
    import javafx.scene.layout.AnchorPane;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;

    public class ImageProcessingExample extends Application {

  • How can I improve the sound on a video recording?

    I recently shot my daughter's wedding, but the microphone of radio I used on the acceptance speech was defective.  Therefore, the only noise I have for the speech is off a micro video camera from across the room, which means that there is a lot of noise.

    I use PE13 on an iMac with Yosemite.  I have not yet found a way to filter or to improve the sound.  Does anyone know an inexpensive app that could help improve the audio?

    Thank you

    Thanks, that's very encouraging.  I'll start experimenting and let you know the progress.

    Thank you

    Hello good day.

    I made a text in photoshop, but it's all jagged crept with few DPI more it already with a resolution of 300 DPI.

    I wonder if is to improve the text of the resolution, then it only would not serrated, to stay a vector type. Thank you.

    Judging by 277% zoom, this text seems to be too small in size in points for a good

    reproduction in the form of a chart with 300 DPI raster.

    If this text could be exported as PDF vector illustration is doubtful.

    Finally the effects prevent the Visual text to be managed as a vector.

    It is not yet clear if the glyphs are typographically clean (not distorted).

    A debate on these issues is here:

  • How to improve the performance of the import

    I'm converting a database of its current WE8ISO88591 character set AL32UTF8
    I use NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS to TANK so I don't have to increase the length of the column.

    I followed the instructions in the Oracle:
    144808.1
    313175.1

    Except import that takes too long.

    I took a full database export WE8ISO8859p1 and now its importation in AL32UTF8.

    It is always difficult to prove slow source; but I think it has to do something with NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS. On the same
    Server; If the new database was in WE8ISO8859P1, a 5 million row table import took 2 hours; but in Al32UTF8 with NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS it takes 1 day!

    No idea how to improve the performance of the import.

  • Help improve the performance of a procedure.

    Hello everyone,

    First of all to introduce myself. My name is Ivan and I recently started to learn the SQL and PL/SQL. Then don't go hard on me. :)

    Now let's move on to the problem. What we have here is a table (a large, but we will need only a few fields) with some information about the calls. 'S called it table1. There is also another, absolutely the same structure, which is empty and we must transfer the recordings of the first.
    The calls short (less than 30 minutes) have segmentID = "C1".
    Longer calls (over 30 minutes) are saved as multiple records (1 for every 30 minutes). The first record (the first 30 minutes of the call) a segmentID = "C21". It's the first time we have only one of them for each different call. Then we have the next parts (the middle one) of the appeal, having segmentID = "C22". We have more than 1 middle part and once again the maximum minutes in every 30 minutes. Then we have the last part (new max 30 minutes) with segmentID = "C23. As with the first, we can have that last part.
    So far so good. Now we need to insert these call records in the second table. The C1 are easy - a record = one call. But those partial we must combine so that they become a single whole call. This means that we must be one of the first pieces (C21), find if there is a middle part (C22) with the same caller/called numbers and with the difference in 30 minutes time, then additional research if there is an another C22 and so on. And finally, we search for the last part of the call (C23). As part of this research we sum the length of each part, so we can have the duration of the call at the end. Then, we are ready to be inserted into the new table as a single record, just with the new duration.
    But here's the problem with my code... The table a LOT of files and this solution, despite the fact that it works (at least in tests I've done so far), it is REALLY slow.
    As I said I am new to PL/SQL and I know that this solution is really newbish, but I can't find another way to do this.

    So I decided to come here and ask for some advice on how to improve the performance of this.

    I think you're getting confused already, so I'll just put some comments in the code.

    I know this isn't a procedure as at present, but it will be once I have create better code. I don't think it's important for now.

    I'm using version 1.5.5 Developer SQL and Oracle 11 g.

    This is my first post here so I hope it's the right subforum.
    I tried to explain it as deep as possible (sorry if it's too long) and I kinda think that code got a bit hard to read with all these comments. If you want I can delete them.
    I know that I'm missing a lot of knowledge for all the help is really appreciated.

    I thank very you much in advance!

    Hi and welcome to the forums.

    Thanks for posting your code (and using code tags... it's a miracle of a novice!).

    What would be nice would be if you could provide some example data and expected results; as described in the FAQ: {message identifier: = 9360002}

    Your code is very likely to be slow because of the number of nested loops cursor that you use. Which is known in the trade as treatment of rank by rank (more affectionately known as slow-by-slow transformation, as he was known to be slow). It is slow because the PL engine must keep going back and forth between himself and the SQL engine and the INSERT you in a loop called SQL much time to insert data.

    Usually this kind of thing can be achieved by using something like a single INSERT... ... SELECT statement where the SELECT all the treatment that you put in the language PL, or sometimes a SQL MERGE statement if a conditional is sort of insert/update.

    If you post your data so people can get an idea of what is the logic (and have something to test with and know what results should be) then we can help.

  • New user - need tips to improve the performance and graphics ability

    Hello

    I am a new user.  I loaded Windows 7 64-bit today, and it seems to work fine. (I used only Explorer.) I downloaded by Reallusion CrazyTalk and software is lagging terribly, and the image is blurry. The Forum of CrazyTalk, they recommend updating graphics drivers to fix blurry images. On the NVIDIA site, when I asked her to automatically detect the driver update, it says none is available for my computer (my Mac).

    Question: They have updates driver for Windows... When I am running Windows via Fusion, should I different graphics drivers than those on my Mac?  If so, means that I need another graphics card?  * Of course I'm not super technical. **

    I have attached a screenshot of my info/display of charts:

    In addition, molten, I increased the RAM to 3 GB (3000 MB), but it has not improved the situation.

    CrazyTalk allows the user to make a photo 'talk '... It is lively and contains the audio.  I usually save files as uncompressed reviews that are about 4 GB in size (when I worked directly on a PC) but today to test it's obviously "too much" for this system.  (It would have probably been about 2 GB). So I recorded a MP4 (3.7 MB), which has always been a time loooooooong to save - 30 minutes.

    Other info:

    Model name: iMac

    Model ID: iMac9, 1

    Processor name: Intel Core 2 Duo

    Processor speed: 3.06 GHz

    Number of processors: 1

    Total number of cores: 2

    L2 Cache: 6 MB

    Memory: 4 GB

    Bus speed: 1.07 GHz

    Boot ROM version: IM91.008D.B08

    Version of the SCM (System): 1.37f3

    I would appreciate advice and links to information that will help me.

    Thank you

    Dora

    Welcome to the Fusion community.

    Question: They have updates driver for Windows... When I am running Windows via Fusion, should I different graphics drivers than those on my Mac?  If so, means that I need another graphics card?

    Your don't need another graphics card.  By necessity, VMware can pass through native graphics of your iMac to any guest including Windows operating system.  VMware provides its own graphic adapter of substitute (WDDM 3D) or VMware SVA II, with its own pilots.  Apple takes care to provide you with the latest drivers for OS X, you will never have to download all the drivers directly from the graphics vendors.  Details about the virtual hardware and its differences of capacity are covered in the FAQs on VMware Fusion

    Regarding the VMware graphics drivers who are in the VMware tools and are supported if you have installed Windows 7 using Windows Easy install feature in the new computer Wizard.  If you do not use Windows Easy Install (or don't remember), the icon of blue squares of VMware in the system tray is a Visual indicator, they are installed.  But you can confirm the video adapter by using the Control Panel, search for display > change display settings > advanced settings to look at your graphics card.  For Win7, the default value is VMware SVGA 3D.

    Whenever you want to refresh the VMware drivers you can select Virtual Machine > install VMware Tools to install or run the option repair after the Welcome screen.

    In addition, molten, I increased the RAM to 3 GB (3000 MB), but it has not improved the situation.

    Based on the requirements of CrazyTalk6 system I could find, you do not need to allocate as much RAM (3 GB).  Depending on your other needs Windows 7, 1 GB to 2 GB would be better, based on your host, the RAM size.

    Pentium IV 2 GHz or higher recommended

    512 MB of RAM or more recommended

    1 GB space drive or higher recommended

    Duplex Sound Card/VGA Card/keyboard/mouse/Microphone/Speaker

    Display resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher

    Video memory: 128 MB RAM or higher recommended

    Windows 7 / Vista / XP SP2

    Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 2 or higher

    DirectX 9 and WMEncoder 9 are required to export WMV

    Recommended hardware:

    CPU dual core or higher recommended

    1 GB of RAM or more recommended

    Hard drive 2 GB or more recommended

    Video memory: 256 MB RAM or higher recommended

    Things to try:

    The 3D Aero interface may impose the virtual graphic adapter, then you could try to disable that by getting the properties of the desktop background, choose Customize and change the theme of Windows 7 Basic.

    More radically, you can stop the virtual machine and disable 3D graphics in the VM > settings > display > uncheck "Accelerate 3D graphics."  This will cause Windows 7 use the legacy VMware SVGA II adapter.  The oldest non - 3D adapter looks like it meets the system requirements but requiring DirectX 9 encoding for WMV exporting.   If you save without video compression, that may be OK.  If the non - 3D adapter does not meet requirements, I am sure that the program will display.

  • How to document iMac to my apple tv 2, but sending audio to the Airport express connected to my hifi

    I have an iMac, a macmini an express airport. I want to send 720 p video to the Apple TV 2 iMac (or macmini) but send audio to the express from the airport which is connected to my stereo. If the apple TV 2 will serve as a video receiver connected to my projector on the ceiling. (I don't have a way to use a hdmi cable). This is the reason why audio must be sent to the hifi differently.  Alternatevely because the macmini is connected by USB cable to my hifi (to my dac), perhaps there is a way to send audio from a movie to the stereo through audio external USB card (it is the dac) while reflecting the macmini for the Apple TV 2...

    in iTunes, you can select more then 1 speaker output could be the express and then mirrored to the appletv in the manner of STDS, if is not in iTunes then I think that you need a third party such as the wing option

  • TVos 10.0 connects not to the audio from the airport

    Since I've upgraded to the latest AppleTV (about a year now?) I had to browse the audio airplay on my airport because connecting the HDMI cable directly in my system Pioneer VSX 1020 Surround THX certified cinema makes the freak out of the unit and quickly scroll well some input devices, resulting in a cacophony of strong gusts of random audio sources.  My job, as long as I've owned the thing, was to plug the HDMI directly to the TV and run the audio through the airplay of the airport that connects to this same system surround as my input source "iTunes" for my iPad Pro, iPhone, Plus 6, Mac Mini and MacBook Pro (s).

    I upgraded to tvOS 10.  last night and now, even that does not work.  You can select in the settings, but as soon as you leave, it is default to the direct connection of HDMI on TV never inviting to enter the password for Airplay.  Anyone know of a work around for my solution to workaround for this wonderful device that has been damaged since its inception?

    Hello. Can you try disabling the AirPlay password? In addition, your TV has a (possibly optical) audio output which you could feed the surround system? Or does have a HDMI with ARC port that would work with the system? Turn off the TV and receiver control in ATV could make work more happily with surround sound.
