  What devices you use to synchronize the music files?

  If you have saved music files in a folder, you can search the file by the name of the folder.

  1. open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer.

  2. then connect the external device to the computer.

• Message "the file is missing or offline", can not find all the missing files and cannot import them again!

  I just opened up Lightroom and saw something for the first time. My latest photos 2 imports (around 1,000) are all displayed in Lightroom with the message "the file named... is offline or missing". I also noticed that in the Finder I see all files corresponding to the dates of importation. I tried to import the files again (I'm lucky to save one of the memory cards), and it won't let me import these specific images, saying they were already imported. Yet, I can't nice them anywhere. On top of this problem (and I'm sure they're related somehow), I just put in the memory card with new images in Lightroom and it went about 1/3 of them say have already been imported. I never seen anything like this. I use Lightroom 4. Please, I beg you, help is urgently needed here because I'm starting to panic! Thank you.

  A second importation is the wrong answer.

  I have a problem and you need help someone here.  I have an esxi4 with some VM guest OS inside and works without problem, after I detach the esxi4 host harddrive to a new host esxi5.  I can't not find any data file or vmdk in esxi5 under my vSphere client hosting.  Then I checked the disk space has been used but no file inside?  Same result even I update the vmfs3 to vmfs5 data store.  What's wrong???

  Please provide more details.

  • do you see the disc moved under Configuration-> storage-> vmhbaXX adapters?
  • the datatsore dies it see the place in the Configuration-> storage?
  • make data stores (old and new) have different names - the same name could cause problems!
  • you see any folder or files when you 'old' data store using the browser to store data of pen?

  Same result even I update the data vmfs3 to vmfs5 store

  If there are any questions, it is not a good idea to make major changes without knowing the cause of the problem!

• Can not find the downloaded files

  I don't know exactly when it started, but suddenly I can't find all the downloaded files.  I get prompted to run or save the file, and then on the progress bar window and the file download, but any place I pick up (or even if I chose to simply run the program), the dialog boxes disappear when the download is complete.  The files are not where I told them to be stored and they are not anywhere else on the computer.  When I choose to run a program, I get a dialog box for that either.  This problem occurs no matter what browser I use.  I did some digging and I came across several others with the same problem and there seems to be a problem with Windows Update.  Suggestions are to uninstall the latest updates to fix the problem, but I think it started several weeks ago and I don't want uninsatll everything.  Any help is appreciated.

  I opened this morning Lightroom to find all my latest files are missing. I put all my images on a disc external hard when can I import into lightroom and they normally appear. Currently, there is nothing else than to 2 years showing images (which aren't really there because they have been deleted, so I'm the? symbol) I have been in file > opened recently and I don't have an option to choose and it does nothing.   You can check the version of LR on the Help menu (System Info). Check that the version corresponds to what you think you have. However, as you use the same icon as always, it is probably not this problem but it is possible that your shortcut has changed by the operating system. Your external drive disconnected by accident? If it is mounted in the same location - i.e. the same volume name (Mac) or the letter drive (windows).

  If you use any third party download managers to download files, it will not appear in the lists of download OF Firefox.
  Please check your downloads folder, everything you have downloaded will be there by default.

  I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1520 (Intel Core2Duo T7250 2 GHz, 4 GB of RAM DDR2, 160 GB Sata HDD, Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset graphics, Bluetooth, WiFi, Broadcom 440 x 10/100 Integrated Controller... etc.) preloaded with Vista 32 Bit ultimate and I always updates, so now it has SP1 and all updates until May 17, 2009... This laptop is connected to the Internet via the Ethernet cable and switch to my home network, and if a servere Office Vista via WiMAX adapter is connected to the Internet.

  To surf the internet, I use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8, attended with Internet Download Manager, and everything was wonderful until last week, when suddenly any compressed or executable file that is downloaded from the Internet are corrupted... Downloads are completed successfully, but when I try to extract the files from the RAR or ZIP, any executable files are then failure of the CRC, also if I had any type of files that is split in two between the RARs, these are also corrupt... For the downloaded EXE or MSI file types, a CORRUPT file message is shown on the screen. I tried to use two internal browsers download manager and with the IDM: same results...

  I checked my HDD using several HARD disk controllers (Norton Disk Doctor, Segate & Maxtor HARD drive... tool etc) and my RAM with memtest86: everything is OK, also as all other downloads are not affected (for example, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, movies...), I am sure that the problem is with Vista.

  Is there a solution to this problem?

  PS: I don't want to reformat my laptop because it is full of data and few software...

  A final solution for my problem: SIMPLY replace the old switch with a new, for me I replaced it with a wireless access point...

  Update(18/7/2010): I found the culprit: I was just appliedOverclocking on the server, just at the moment when the problem started, and settings of the motherboard back by default, all worked OK. It was difficult to find, but when I tried to replace the motherboard - as a final trial - with a newer version, it worked perfectly, but when I changed the settings for the new motherboard to apply improvements overclocking, I was surprised by the return of the problem.
  So the solution is: try to DISABLE overclocking options in the settings of your motherboard!

• Cannot find downloaded files

  Hello!

  I just spent several hours trying to download and install a Media manager program frm Verizon (to manage the files downloaded from my phone).  The download dialog box will appear and the download is normally; However, no matter if I try to save or to run or to know if him "close this dialog box...". "is checked or not - at the end of the download, the dialog box disappears and the downloaded file is not found.

  After reading other posts, I tried:

  • create a new administrator account and use - no difference
  • disable the AVG software and put IE8 in unprotected mode - no difference
  • Add the name of the file to the 'safe' list in AVG - no difference

  I didn't know all of the other posts to this problem where a person actually said something worked!

  When you download files, Windows usually saves in the Downloads folder which is located under your user name in the users folder on the drive where Windows is installed (for example C:\users\your name\downloads). When you save the file, you can choose to save it in a different folder. By default, some file types are saved in different folders. For example, if you right click on an image on a Web page and choose Save the image as in the menu, the image will be saved in the default pictures folder. If you don't know where the file has been saved, you can search for it in the start menu.
