After the upgrade to Windows 8, impossible to find Media Player or Media Center
I upgraded my pc to windows 8, now I can't find media center, Media Player. Help, please
Media Center does not come with any edition of windows 8, but Media Player comes with both. You can buy the media center to windows 8 Pro, but not of windows 8. Open the charm of research and the research of Media Player. Right-click on it and PIN to start and PIN to the taskbar.
To add Media Center to the Pro version, look for add-on features and select Media Center. Buy the key for $9.99.Whenever you do find something, look for them in each category until find you it. -
I HAVE an ibm OPPORTUNITY WITH SP3 on IT WHEN I DOWNLOADED IE8 AND LIVE ESSENTIALS ECT I ALSO GOT ANOTHER MEDIA PLAYER 11, I UNINSTALLED a VERSION OF 2004 AND recognized AS I HAD KEPT THE 2010 VERSION, BUT BOTH DISAPPEARED, I DOWNLOADED IT AGAIN, HE SAID it IS IN add + DELETE, BUT WITH No. MB Ko next to her , all the patches and the secruity are always add + delete but I can't find media player, can anyone help me with this.
Check the programs folder: in C:\Program Files\Windows media player should be a file called "wmplayer.exe".
If the folder and the file above are present, just right click on the file then from the menu choose "create shortcut".
Now drag the shortcut to the start menu and release somewhere in the list of programs if you have a way to start the program.
You can also drag the shortcut icon for media player on your desktop or in the quick start to the right of the menu Staer area.

My Media Player 11 Vista has become corrupted and will not play mp3s.
Where can I download Vista Media Player 11? I've looked everywhere on the Microsoft Web site and the internet, and I can't find Media Player 11 for Vista. I can find Media Player 11 for XP but not Vista. What is happening with this?
Or what should I do to solve this problem? Thank you.

Can I uninstall Media Player 12 and install media Player 11.

Can I uninstall Media Player 12 and install media Player 11. I find Media Player 12 very complicated and difficult to use
You can run Media Player 11 using the XP Mode if the version of Windows that you are using is XP compatible Mode, but I do not recommend. I suggest you take a peek at Media Player 12 willing and read a little bit about it, it's not that complicated:

How can TV 31RL938 - I find installation key for PC-Windows Media Player
To watch DVD from PC - Windows Media Center (Windows 8) on my TV (31RL938, without fire related to the internet), I have to do an Extender installation with the Media Center on my PC (the TV symbol is on my PC).
That's why I have to put in an installation key (8 digits), which should be on my TV / Extender by choosing 'Windows Media Center' here. But how can I find it?
Thanks for the help!
Gerd
Have you managed that?
To my knowledge the two devices; your TV and your PC must be connected to the same network: in my case its home WLan.
I don t use Media Center, but I made the connection with Windows Media Player.
Using the Media Player I can listen to the video and music to my TV or stereo receiver...Microsoft provides the very nice HowTO on how to start with the streaming media:

Windows Media Player find manually the info from the album when selected.
I'm looking to "find album info" by right-clicking on the album in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7. After clicking on it, the dialog box appears and a small globe in the upper left corner turns for a few seconds, then stops and nothing happens. I waited a few hours to make sure. Stay right on the white screen of white. It worked fine with no new changes two days ago and now it is not. I checked to make sure that I work online and am. Retrieve additional information from the internet are checked and media files updated to retrieve information from the internet is selected too. I can connect and browse the stores online through WMP so I don't know that it needs to connect to the internet.
Nevermind, I found the answer to someone else. I had to disable Internet Access Manager. For some reason, that it will not allow WMP to connect to internet to download the info from the album.

Hello
I recently haven't been able to burn a CD with Windows Media Player (he worked last week, but not now). I get an error message "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. The link between the library item and its digital media file associated with may be broken. "Try to fix the link or delete the item. There is a web help option which says that to fix a link, you click on the blue icon next to the item, then click "Browse this article. But the only icon I see is a little blue triangle next to individual songs in the library pane or list, there is no icon next to the name of the playlist. Although the click with the right button on the blue triangle gives me a few options, "Browse this point" is not one of them. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong and how can I sort it please!
