find the file of the scanned document

I scanned a document using a Dell V305 printer/scanner to computer Dell 540 s, so I tried to save in a Word document. My version of Office is Windows 2007. I can't locate the file.

It will be where you said the digitization program to save it in time you did the scan.

  • LaserJet M5035 MFP: I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document

    Hello

When sending e-mail through the printer scanner, I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document. Scanning is done from the "feeder ' ' the printer and not the glass.

    The windows were all cleaned.

I did the test and digital printing of the "feeder ' ' and I have no lines for printing!   I did update the firmware of the printer and I still have the same result.

You have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you

The small windows of the charger scanner had a small red above mark.  When the analysis has been done and sent on an e-mail, the line shows as it is scanned were made with the color scan option.  If I print the line doesn't show because the printer is not color!

    Hi @TalusHiker,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you use a printer all-in-one HP OfficeJet 4650 with a Windows Vista computer and analysis the scanned document is slightly asymmetrical. I would like to help with that.

In order for me to propose a proper resolution, it can help to collect a little more information from you.

You scan the automatic feeder (ADF) of Document, or the glass dish?

The scan seem asymmetrical when you look at it on your computer, or when it is printed?

Is the pages in a separate document or part of a book?

I'll watch for your reply, so I can go into it for you. Just reply to your convenience.

    Thank you.

  • HP C6280 All in One Printer: unable to save the scanned document of multi page as on the single Document using the Preview on IMAC computer

I recently reinstalled my drivers on my IMAC computer to correct some strange characters appearing when printing from Microsoft word via Parallels.  The relocation at this time and the time has fixed this problem.  My most recent issue is not able to save a scanned document of multi page into a document using an excerpt?  In the latest that I had to do was high brightness, scanned documents to be saved and presto, all were saved under one.  Now you have to go save each of them at a time.  If you have a 5-page document, you need to go through the registration process 5 separate time create several documents, which is a big waste of time.  I have also my C6280 DPL 100 size should be a problem, I think.  To correct even any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @RGrantB3,

Welcome to the HP Forums! I'd love to help you analyze documents several pages in a single file. When you scan, you select PDF as the format scanning? When you select the PDF file, you should see an option to select, save all pages in a single file, or a variant of this option.

If you do not see this, please post a screenshot of you scanning settings for I can visually identify the issue.

How to take a screenshot on a Mac.         How to post a picture on the HP Forum s.

I can't wait to hear back on your part. If this resolves the issue, please click Accept as Solution button below so that others can see what has worked for you. Thank you.

  • Save the scan document to Microsoft Word

I can't change the settings of Microsoft Scan to allow saving a document as a Word. doc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello rcohan6168,

As your question relates to Microsoft Word, you will get a much better response if you posted the question Word Forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/word?tab=Threads

As far as I know a scanned document is automatically saved as a .bmp or jpeg. This is because the ' scan ' is in fact a photograph of this document after scanned by your scanner. I could be wrong, but I don't think that you can actually save the document as a .doc file - well not unless you actually cut and copy the .bmp/jpeg file into a word document, and then save.

However, the above is only my thoughts. Try posting the question in the forum of Word and see if someone else can give you more information.

You must use one of the graphical tools to conceal what you don't want. You must then use the redax tool to remove hidden - or at least that's my understanding of what you would do.

In fact, you would use the tool 'mark for the redaction' to highlight text or draw rectangles around the areas you want to write. You then click on 'apply the redaction. You can then greeted by a dialog box asking if you want to get rid of some back end information related to what you been expunged (as metadata, attachments, bookmarks, etc).

It is very complete if you want to probably run ion one copy of a file until you get the hang of it.

    Hi stephen32143298,

To search for a file that you have converted to Word using ExportPDF, sign in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. Find the file you want to edit, select it and click Download. The file will be downloaded to your computer (usually in the downloads folder), and then you can open and edit in Word.

  • Editing the text in the scanned document (ROC)

I am a newbie, and I tried my best to do it without asking for help, but could only get so far.

I have a PDF file that are scanned pages of text in boxes. All I want to do is change some of the text. I am able to enable OCR so that the text is selectable and recognizable, but obviously not enough actually to change the text. In my view, a plug-in might help, but is not the first person I tried to work.

In the end, I got a page made in opening the PDF file in Photoshop and covering the old text with a white box and the new text. It's NOT ideal! In addition, because it's nice and new, a clear text added with Photoshop, it stands a bit of the unpublished text which is a blur, because it's a scanned image.

Free is always the best and I want to save money, but I can afford buying new software and plug-ins if I have to. Is it possible to do what I'm doing? If so, what version of Acrodbat do I need? If I need all of the extras, what should I expect?

    Thanks in advance.

You must use the Touchup text tool, but do not expect great results.
