  • Finder keeps freezing

    Hello

    I use a Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.5 and 2.5 GHz, 16 GB RAM

My finder does not respond well at all. When I force quit and re launch I could receive a 20-30 seconds to respond to him then back to even again.

The last things I did are added a lot of samples and music loops to my folder of music and video files on my desktop filmed using a digital SLR. I have more than 90 GB of memory left so many doubt that would be the problem.

    Delete the plist file

On a hunch, you have ALL software installed antivirus or uTorrent?  If so, remove the two, reboot and re-evaluate the slowness.

  • iPhone 7 keeps freezing

    Good morning-

I have a question about my iPhone 7 more.  It seems that it keeps freezing in the middle of a task.  Sometimes natively (iMessage, phone) and downloaded applications (facebook, pinterest).  I either close the applications, or restart my phone all together.

Everyone knows this, and if so, what did you do to fix?  Or y at - it no indication as to why what is happening on my old iPhone for 3 days 7Plus?

    Hello Mary1973,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how exciting a new iPhone may be and I would love to help get your works as expected. There are a few things that could cause a new phone to act the way you described, for example, if you have restored from a backup of your old phone parameters may use the older data. To resolve this problem, you can reset the settings on your iPhone.

What this does is actually reset some of your settings to factory default. This removes all data and applications, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, contact ID, brightness & wallpaper and privacy, so we will have to define these things upwards after this reset.

To do this, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

If you have set your phone up like new without any transfer of data from another phone, let know us and the community will help find the best solution.
    Best regards

  • iPhone 6 keeps freezing after patch 9.3.1

    iPhone 6 more, 128 GB

    iOS 9.3.1 (13E238)

    Firmware 4.71.00

My iPhone screen keeps freezing from time to time since the last update of the 9.3.1. The gels were occasionally at first, but are more common. It freezes randomly on:

    1. Home screen
    2. on an application
    3. and when a keyboard is also called.

A possible model before the gel is the use of an application that requires some entries, like typing with the keyboard or the drop down menu, especially the Safari and Mail.

I think that the problem actually began with the 9.3 release, but much less often to not notice as if it was a problem.

    Restart the phone didn't help.

Also frequently freezes him the phone feels also very slow, very slow when you drag through the homescreen in particular.

No new apps not installed since the 9.3 update. The phone has 17 GB free.

The phone was purchased new for over a year, so I'm not sure if this problem would be covered by the service to Apple too.

Help, please! Anyone who attends the same questions?

You see a flickering line at the top?

  • Satellite A660-07 s keeps freezing

Last January, I bought a Toshiba portable computer satellite 07 s and it keeps freezing. Mainly, it freezes when commissioning, the awakening of the sleeping and, recently, it started freezing when I unplugged the headset jack.

I took the laptop in the service desk at the store that I bought it to and they told me to do a system restore, but it has not been working for a long time. I recently took in a second time and he sent me to a Toshiba service center they couldn t find anything wrong with her and sent again and after all that, it was another system restore still didn't solve the problem.

    Now what should I do?

    Hello

Maybe the Toshiba service agents could not fix it because they could not replicate that gel. The laptop freezes only occasionally and not always. Right?
Well, that makes it harder and harder.

Have you checked the HARD drive?
Check if using a free tool called Drive Fitness Test. This can be downloaded from different pages.
You can also check the RAM. Of course, I would recommend using new test modules.
    But what to say; This problem may be related to any part of the laptop; It could be a problem software or hardware;
You said that the setting of the laptop back to factory settings helped for a short time; Well maybe, there is a process or a software that affect the functionality of the laptop

It is not easy to say why this happen, but I think it's certainly software related issue.
I don't know how much experience do you have with the operating systems and are you ready to look for a problem or you want to solve this problem quickly.

If you want to quick fix use Toshiba recovery disc and reinstall the OS. With the own operating system preinstalled, everything should be OK again.

Otherway follow the instructions I found on the internet:
    ------------------------------
I have a few here that might solve the problem.

First of all, I suggest that you start the computer in safe mode and of control; safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not run in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed that, follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode with networking:

(A.) to restart the computer using safe mode, restart the computer and press the F8 key for about four to five times. Appears in safe mode listed in the advanced options of Windows. Select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.

Now check if you are able to work with your programs, if you are able to start the computer in safe mode only, then the problem may be with all the conflicting startup items on your computer.

    (B) you may need to perform the clean boot on your computer, to help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot)
    (2) enable half the services
    (3) determine whether the problem returns
    (4) enable half of the startup items
    (5) determine if the problem returns
    (6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem persists, I suggest that you perform a scan of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer, this replaces the corrupt system files with system Version of Windows on the computer files, follow these steps to perform a scan:

I suggest to empty the temp folder and later, follow these steps:

    i. Click Start > type % temp % in the start search box > press on enter > delete everything present in the temp folder.

    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
    2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
    3. at the command calls, the following line and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

  • My HP Pavilion laptop 1001sa g6 keeps freezing (windows 7)

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me.

About 2 months I bought this new laptop, it was fine until recently.

Whenever I go on the internet, try to download something, try opening a new tab, my phone freezes, and generally it won't let me open Task Manager when I press CTRL + ALT + DELETE. I don't know why it does this, I ran virus scans with Norton (I'm still in my free trial of 90 days) and no threats were found, I did Disk Defragmenter, I scanned the computer to find errors, I have done disk clean ups and I have no idea why it freezes again. I also changed my Internet browser from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and I always seem to have the same problems.

Any help would be appreciated as to why he keeps freezing or if anyone has had the same kind of problems with their laptops?

    Thank you

    Hello

Yes, you will need to make a backup of all your personal files to some form of external media (external hard drive, DVD, etc.).  As a general rule, HP will send you the new hard drive - it will be completely empty, then you will need to reinstall the operating system on the new drive using your recovery disks, then load back your personal files from your external backup source.  If you have not created your set of recovery disks, you will need to order a set of replacement of these at the same time.

The procedure of replacing the HARD drive is detailed from Page 45 of your & Maintenance Guide.

    Kind regards

When you were looking for registry keys referenced were there profile keys that you did not create. In other words, your profile key is listed as C:\Users\Your user name. Were all the other user profiles listed?

You save on a disk to a DVD disc or hard? If it is a hard drive is internal or external

Please navigate to regedit and make sure that the following key is listed.

Ensure that your data is backed up / copied to external media. It seems that your PC has a hardware problem. If it's a name brand PC, for example Dell / HP etc it may have preinstalled utility test read the manual or manufacturer's web site

If it's a generic PC, then your machine to HD will have a free test bootable utility, for example SeaTools from Seagate
