  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that after updating to iOS 10, you are unable to use Touch ID on your iPad. I know I can use this guard your iPad secure and makes it easier to access your content. I'm here to help.

  Please, try the following steps and test Touch ID after each step.

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry. 1 for Home button, use a clean, lint cloth to wipe off any dirt or debris.
  3. Your finger should completely cover the Home button, touch the surrounding metal ring. Contact ID is scanning, you should not type too fast or move your finger.
  4. If you use a case or a protective screen, make sure that it does not cover the Home button or the surrounding ring.
  5. Go to settings > Touch ID & password and make sure the Unlock iPhone or iTunes and App Store is on and that you have entered one or more fingerprints.
  6. Try to register another finger.
  7. If you cannot register your finger, take your camera to a store Apple Store or Apple authorized service provideror Contact the Apple Support.

  Yes, you can use the access code and touchID for unlock iDevices.

  Go to settings == > Touch ID & password == > activate iPhone Unlock == > activate iTunes and App Store

  Please note that ONLY your access code can unlock iDevices after a restart (or reboot).

  New to the iPhone and the 6s.  I have "ve put in place ApplePay and everything speaks to pay using your finger/thumbprint.   I put in place a code 6 digit to access the ApplePay/Wallet (even to try to understand both), but can I pay with it using the 6-digit code or what I have to do something with a fingerprint?

  Also... we will fly on Delta in a week and he says that I can use for my boarding card.  How can I get a boarding card in the wallet to use it to get on the plane?

  With the iPhone 6 s, you have the option to set up a fingerprint to unlock your device and also for the use of Apple pay. This support document explains Setup Touch ID with your fingerprint. You can configure several fingerprints. Use touch on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support ID  I can't find any information on the use of your password to pay Apple.   With respect to the boarding, you get information in an e-mail message from Delta, and it will contain information about the addition of the collar to your wallet. You can also get the application of Delta in the App Store and get information from who. I've used this with Delta several times, and it works fine.   Firefox 30 switched many plugins "Always turned on" to "ask to activate. This change was to require your permission to untrusted sites to use plugins. However, some plugins like HP SimplePass affect the user interface, so that they do not work well with this setting. Here's how to switch back:

  Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Look for the plugin SimplePass and change to ' activate ' "always enable".

  It may not take effect immediately in the current window, but should work in a new window, or after you exit and then restart Firefox.

  My drink was boosted just after midnight Friday in Madrid. My friends thought that I had returned to the hotel. I was found by a stranger 5 hours later. My all stolen property. I spent the next 5 hours at the police station until I could turn on "Find my iPhone" or cancel the cards. This time, the phone is off the grid. My question to the community, this is what is happening with fingerprint reader, if a person is unconscious. Obviously, they can unlock the phone and remove access to fingerprint. Can they add however their own fingerprints and therefore use their fingers to approve transactions by card or open applications as good for business? Nobody knows the answer to that? There is a built-in security that if you try to add fingerprints after the initial running it asks your password? I want to say that even to change the password it asks the old one... is this correct? Please can anyone help put my mind at rest.

  I did cancel my cards, cancel my card SIM and block the IMEI number. Change my password on social media, email and all applications that have an office opening. I'm just curious to know if anyone can put my mind at rest that I replace my phone and I would like to better understand the security.

  they can use your fingerprint to unlock your phone, but they cannot remove it without knowing you the password of 4 to 6 digits.
