Fire Fox won't automatically fill PW & a sites on new computer

I am setting up a new computer and have set preferences to save PW & United Nations at the opening of the sites. This function does not work even if FF asked if I want to save the PW and they show in the folder of saved password.

  • Forget the button against the history value delete when closing Fire Fox

I have FF value delete browsing history all whenever I close Fire Fox, which is common. In addition to the fact that there is a delay in the suppression of history until closed FF is the Forget button more in-depth than my current method of deleting the history. The history is also deleted by Norton Utilities, whenever I run optimization NAKED at least once a day?

Your question looks like it's to ask if the Forget button is more thorough than the deletion of all close. I think it's just the latest is automatic and forget the button is for those who want to do it with Firefox always open. They do the same thing but even thoroughly.

  • where is the directory of documents in fire fox

I have used IE before, but I switched to Mozilla Fire Fox. I'm looking for the directory Documents from Fire Fox so I can move documents
    Since the inside office

Hmm, Firefox is a directory of Documents. If you need a place for items on your desktop, I suggest using your regular Documents folder (a Windows creates for you). To move documents, you can use Windows Explorer, I suggest to pin to the Windows taskbar. They shortened keyboard is: hold down the Windows key and tap the E key.

    About directories in Firefox:

    • By default, Firefox saves your downloads in your downloads folder. You can change this in the Options page if you wish: boot, homepage, tabs and download settings. But the internal list of downloads of Firefox won't show what Firefox has added to this folder, and not that you moved to the folder from your desktop.

Overall, Firefox is more oriented to browsing websites that it is towards browsing the files on your computer. Due to security rules and differences in the way Firefox integrates with applications, I don't think that you will find it as useful as Windows Explorer for these purposes.

  • Pandora radio is not working properly, they saty I need to upgrade to a newer version of firefox. Not very clear how to do this? fire fox says I have an old version. I need help to update, why it so difficult?

Pandora radio is not working properly, they say I have to upgrade to a newer version of Fire Fox. Fire Fox very little makes it clear on how to do it. I'm not a computer genius! I have an outdated version. Summer

You are using Firefox 3, which is the previous major version. The current version is Firefox 7. I'm not familiar with your Facebook plugin, so I don't know if it is compatible. If it isn't, Firefox will automatically tell you and ask you if you want to check the updates. You can download the installer of Firefox 7 by clicking here.

  • Fire Fox no longer save my user name and passowrds

I'm rebuilding my computer after a disk failure.

Fire Fox is more equally will be my log in information for the site I frequent I have to enter the name and password everytime I open a site. Fire Fox some time ask if I want the saved password and I click Yes, but it has no effect on the openings of the future site.

If I look at the passwords saved under Tools/Security/save password to all the sites in question are placed in memory but have no response when I try to open the site.

A second problem. Fire Fox records more recent site opened at the top of the toolbar at the bottom left that ran, Document, programs. It allows to record the last 5 or 6 programs used. Now, he has only HP printer saves.

Websites to remember you and automatically log you in are stored in a cookie.

    • Create a cookie exception allow (Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such cookies, especially for sites Web secure and if the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
    • Private - browsing using Firefox without saving history all cookies are session cookies that expire if this session is over, so sites don't remember you.

Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

  • Automatic filling of the order of the day

    Hello

I am trying to automatically fill in an 'order of the day"a"graphical task"as pictured below.  When the date of the order of the day is changed, I would like to as tasks and details of my task card to automatically fill in the order of the day.  Any ideas what formula that I use to get this working?  I worked on it for a few days now, but I can't seem to find the right combination of formulas to make it work.

    Thank you

    David

    This can do the trick:

Add a column in the list of tasks as shown above - this column should be the column A now.

    A2 = if (AND (B2 = agenda: $ 1, COUNTA(B2:D2) > 2), MAX $B ($A$ 1: A1) + 1, "")

It's shorthand dethrone select cell A2, and then type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    = IF (AND (B2 = agenda: $ 1, COUNTA(B2:D2) > 2), MAX $B ($A$ 1: A1) + 1, "")

    Select cell A2, copy

Select cells A2 at the end of the column, paste

now in the table "Agenda" I suggest merge is NOT the cells in the first row.  My example suppose you follow this advice, and there are two lines:

-Enter the date in cell B1

    A3 = IF ((LIGNE () −2) ≤MAX(Task Chart::A), LINE (−2), ' ')

    B3 = IF (A3 = "", "", VLOOKUP (ROW (−2, Task Chart::A:D, 3, 0)) ")

    Select cell B3, copy

    Select cell C3, dough

Select cells A3 to C3, copy

Select cells A3 at the end of the C column, paste

now change the text you have in cell B1 of table "Agenda" as needed.

  • When Fire Fox support (again!) for display of multi column (and navagable) Favorites (bookmarks)?

I always use rev 31. This is the last version that is compatible with the add-in on, "Multicolumn Bookmarks 1.5', I have several brands of books collected over the years and the single column format is frustrating and not helpful."

Asked to provide a current version, which is compatible with "MultiColumn Bookmarks 1.5' Fire Fox, or provide a favorite navigable multi-column as option display in a near future program revision Fire Fox.»

  • Fire Fox is a Devourer of data

All of a sudden, FF (38.0.5) on Mac OS X Yosemite is sucking down nearly 2 GB of data per day. I have lost/3 GB on a data plan of 5 GB in 6 days. Who steals my flow? I checked through Activity Monitor on Mac and found Firefox to be by far the largest user of network data, and the same is reflected on my Android phone. Please help me to learn how to get inside Fire Fox and strip out / stop this code responsible for this flight. I may be old school (A + and Network + cert for life in 2001), but I can learn.

Is there a way to "simply" FF data operations, as to minimize the complex data for download on the computer from web pages by pushing a data-rich content?

    Thank you.

COR - el, I thank you for your reply, but that wasn't it. It's FACEBOOK. He could shoot down 3-8 MB each time I looked to see a new reply or new post. I finally thought to it. I ended up changing to m.facebook.com, works without requiring a mobile device user agent looking for mobile versions of any web site I frequent regularly. The data rate went from as much as 500-800 MB, in one day, at about 120-140 MB, in an entire day. Now, in the future, I have more space to download books I use in my research that I do now.

Is it true that using a mobile device user agent still does not prevent Web sites send to your browser, all of the content before it gets returned to mobile view? I found that the use of such an agent does not solve the problem of the use of data. The best way to do this was to use a mobile version of a website, and now I don't have to watch my surfing more closely, even though I've been watching the activity monitor closely to see how my actions affect the data rate.

    Thank you.

Because I complained the limitations of the data and how they don't have a plan of 8 GB, they cut the data used TWICE of what I see in the measure of data consumption.

The site uses TLS 1.0 (an older version of SSL), 37 as obsolete Firefox modes. It is a change of 36 of Firefox.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar and use the search bar to locate this pref:

    Security.TLS.insecure_fallback_hosts

You can double-click the line to edit the prefs and add the domain to this preference.
If there are already websites (domains) in this list, then add a comma and the new domain (without space).
You should see fields separated by a comma in the value column.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
