Firefox 10.0.1 think the last plugin Flash is too old, it disables
I have the last flash plugin installed from adobe Web site.
Flash does not work. It does not appear on my list of plug-ins installed.
Check all my plug-ins for updates, firefox tells me "for your security, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please install the latest version. »
Looking at my < snip > .mozilla/firefox/ / pluginreg.datfile, there is an entry for this:
[VALID]
/ usr/lib64/Flash-plugin /libflashplayer.so: $
1320112563000: $
This plug-in works well under 3.6.26.
I tried to remove this line in the file, uninstalled, and reinstalled the RPM, but I get the same accurate results every time
You can check the location and type of other plugins.
Have you tried to download a 32-bit Flash plugin?
You can create a folder plugins in the Firefox profile folder and put the plugin or a symbolic link to it in this folder.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

I downloaded the last Adobe Flash - it is said to be successful but will not work. What he says "Manage plugins but the plugin says it is enabled, but it will not work." I have tried disabling and then enabling - without success. Help, please!
There are two different versions of Flash. ActiveX for IE version and the version of the Plugin for other browsers. Have you installed the correct version? This forum software is not thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.
1. download the file of configuration Flash from here:
Adobe Flash - Plugin version.
Save it to your desktop.2. close Firefox using file > exit
Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.
{XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.
4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
- On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

35.0.1 Firefox does not recognize that the last flash is installed
There was a series of updates to flash, and I kept with them as helped my package manager. However, firefox is not recognize later as the last.
topic: plugins, shows that the version is 11.2.202.425
My Package Manager shows that the version is 11.2.202.440Firefox and my package manager agree on the way to the .so file. Actually, I copied the path to the file so on firefox and checked in the terminal and it is the version of the right package AND chains told me that the incorporated itself into the .so version string is the most recent. Yet, somehow, firefox really, really think it is version.425 instead de.440.
I restarted firefox. I even rebooted, even if it should not be necessary.
Currently, this version of Flash has been marked as vulnerable:
Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.440 and earlier for LinuxIt's weird that package and everything: plugins page is different however.
This also occurs when you update to the latest: [11.2.202.442]

Try reinstalling LastPass.
There are other things that need your attention.

How can I stop Firefox closes when I close the last window open?
I had to get Windows 7 reloaded and my backup was corrupted (i.e., I couldn't use my custom Firefox.) So I downloaded the new Firefox and now it closes automatically when I close the last window opened. I prefer that Firefox stay open until I chose to close it. How to achieve this?
Hello 1DKG, do you mean when you close the last open tab? If yes you can replace it as follows:
enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab. Double-click it and change its value to false. -
This has happened in the last 10 days. I did nothing to change Firefox and see no option under options/tabs that will solve my problem.
Hello
Make sure that you don't have a user.js file that has browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once set to True.
To check a user.js file, go to your profile folder:
- Enter Subject: support your address bar, or go to tools (or

Firefox closes when I close the last tab, on a system, not the other
CTRL-W closes the last tab. On my Windows XP machine, I get a blank window well. It's like Windows and Excel, you can close all pages without leaving the application.
On my Windows XP Professional system, it closes Firefox. Not good. I won't close until I hit Alt + F4.This has happened
Each time Firefox opened
I answer to Polly: who does. Thanks, Wikiwide

When I try to open Firefox a little box pops up saying "could not load the XPCOM. I don't know what or why it started 4 days ago. Online directions are not useful.
Help, please.
Thank you!Hello
What have you tried so far?
Can you try reinstalling Firefox? Uninstall it from your control panel > programs and features/add / remove programs (if you want to keep your bookmarks and other information, not deletion of personal information). After uninstallation, delete the Mozilla Firefox folder to remove the remnants of files damaged uninstallation (your profile is in a different location, so will not be affected by the present):
- (installation of 32-bit) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- (installation of 64-bit) C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
Download and reinstall the latest version:

The virtual computer policies are too old to be run by this version
I installed the TP of July and for a few weeks. Just tried opening an old VM and got the error "this virtual machine policies are too old to be run by this version of VMWare Workstation." Contact your system administrator. "My other virtual machines are OK. I did a search and couldn't find a document that is open for this issue but no discussion. Someone at - it met this and find a solution? Thank you.
If there is a .vmpl file, try to move out of the way.
Be careful about deleting the files well: remove the .vmpl a limited VM will break constantly.

By default Firefox screen fonts distorted after the last update.
I got the update for Firefox 33.0.3 the other day, and since the 'default' screen fonts are not the same. Text various (on her "ask your question... ("support page I am on now, for example) a registration that is weak or appear"broken ". When I open the same page in Internet Explorer, it looks very good. Any ideas, please?
Hey, I found it... and fixed it! Windows has a feature called Clear of Type technology. Their description is a bit vague; of course, it's a kind of liaison between Windows and the graphics controller. Someone on another forum mentioned clear Type part of an independent issue, so in desperation I followed his instructions and found the "secret switch. Of course, it was transformed into 'off' (a "normative", actually), and once I lit it all now seems just the way it did a few days ago. My K & E 'Drafting Table green' always came not with Firefox, but it is normal; at least I can read the text now.
