  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  When I open a psd file that I've worked on and saved, when I try to resize them or somehow modify the different elements (layers) of the layout, they get a white background inside the for this layer's bounding box.  The different elements (layers) where the extraction from the png files that have transparent backgrounds.  White background does not appear when I initially resize or change diapers.  It happens only when I reopen it the psd file saved to make a few changes to it.  What should I do to stop this from happening?

  I have a HP 7520.  For months I've been scanning black and white photos (one by one, not with the autofeeder) of different dimensions to a pin connected to the scanner code reader successfully. No problem at all and no grand only white spaces surrounding the photo when I opened the scanned photos. And I have nothing special to do this - I have yet to enter the 7520 HP set up menu on my computer. The HP 7520 seems to have missed to automatically size the size of the photo.

  I disconnected the HP 7520 recently for several days and changed my password IP. Now when I scan the pictures, I have a big white page with the photo in a corner. I read the other posts on the same problem, and that the following comments:

  1. Automatic harvest. I can't find this option anywhere on the pages of preferences when I go on the 7520 HP set up menu on my computer. I can't find even in the 100 page manual although autocropping is mentioned on page 21 of the manual.
  2. Clean the scan bed. I did it.
  3. Updates. All the updates appear to be installed.

  None of the above has worked, and I don't want to have to manually set the size each time, unless there is no other solution. But there must be another solution as the scanner worked so well 6 months without effort or installation on my part.

  Probably you (or others) have wrong change the shortcut to scan photos. Now, you can create another shortcut to analyze the size OF the photos and save it. The next time use you this shortcut to scan, you will always get the same result.  Please try to use HP Scan:

  Select your options (size, PPP...) and then save it as a shortcut.

  If you want to add the border to the image iteself, you can use Image > size of the canvas to increase accordingly.

  I used InDesign and Word to generate subtitle images that I put then in first CS6 in the form of PNG images with alpha channel. So I have 800 + PNGs in a folder in my project, and I'm carefully their calendar on my video track as a base image. As I'm trying to change my project, I get a message no. hard drive space left. I check my HD and I went to have 600GB of storage to 100MB. I discovered that most (not all) of my 20-30kb PNG images have somehow converted into 2-4 GB a piece when the first is open! I have recorded the images so that they are open first to Kbs, and immediately I look all slowly convert them to these huge file sizes. Please can someone explain what is happening? And how can I remedy this situation?

  I'm on a Mac OS X 10.10.5. Adobe CS6. The files are named "legends # .png ' if it makes a difference (so it's a bit like a sequence). My video is 45 minutes long with many discounts, graphics and audio samples at HD1080 containing approximately 8.5 GB media. The project file is around 53 MB.

  I tried to use for the parser in the metadata tab for legends, but I decided against it, because I don't like the style and the lack of control of the legends in the first.   Hi, you can do this but only with a PNG with a palette of 256 colors (perhaps as well GIF) so does not receive a lot of use, good enough for the image buttons, etc, but could be allowed for your image as it is not that a large number of colors.   I've been creating icons for a website PNG-24 customers for quite a while, always transparent, always worked - until now. With the last batch, the icons have a white background, not at all transparent and I'm trying to find a solution for this.

  I'm on a Mac with OS 10.7.2 design with Adobe CS5. I design icons in Illustrator, put them in Photoshop and use save for web to create the png. The icons are 32 p x32p 16 p x 16 p. Here is a screenshot of my clients site test:

  Maybe that's the point of the problem as well. Image files you create can be re-sampled by your email client or the utility to download on a web site. You could work around this possibility of packing of your graphics card in a zip file before sending.

  If your image did not have this White halo before you save it to you probably had the white matte option in the dialog box peripheral & Web.

I can not just with the right button, because the image is a graph generic blank puzzle. The link takes me to a .png file, but I can choose only to open the chart with preview or save the file. I prefer to open in a new tab and print it to in Firefox, because the title of the page (and therefore the date of the puzzle) may appear on the printed copy and I know what goes with what puzzle!

  If you make the image a layer (opposite to background)...

  You could choose the blue with the magic wand, as Semaphoric says, then fill it with white.  Then choose Select - change the selection - contract and hide or delete the remaining pixels.  The operation of contract will give you a nice border size you choose.

  For extra credit, you can use refine edge to increase the reliability of the selection.
