Firefox 17, text on screen is not be re-written correctly when erasing the background is necessary, highlighting the text may update and correct the problem

I had to downgrade to Firefox version 16.02 to solve this problem.

Since Firefox version 17 out there is a problem with the screen fonts not being re-written correctly when a background clear condition occurs in Windows is caused by an overlap of another application window or scrolling the active window in firefox.

If the text is highlighted using the right button of the mouse and then the text is correctly updated, just scroll up and down does not solve the problem.

Other versions of Firefox did not have his problem

    There are a bunch of garbage that firefox imported from google and I can't get rid of it. How can I stop firefox support Web sites. I am very frustrated. I love firefox but if I can't solve this problem I will be forced to remove it.

    In the meantime, here is my procedure suggested to track down and cleaning of the bad modules. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

    (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

    (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

    In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions.

    Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection.     None of the Adobe tools use the same rendering template, each has its own format of brush and the brush characteristic, so not every brush works in all applications.

    In other words, you cannot use brush in Illustrator into Photoshop or sketch, or a drawing brush in Photoshop or Illustrator. Rendering template in Photoshop just can't handle what may the sketch, it works in a very different way. That's why when you create a brush in the Capture, you must choose which tool you will target. If you are ultimate goal is to use the brushes in Ps, then you need to limit yourself to the targeted Ps brushes when you get to the Style section (look for the Ps icon at the top left of the section, after the Sketch in Photoshop brushes).

    When you save a brush, you are redirected to a screen where it can be edited/named). This is also where you can see which brush to work with each application. The first three are sketches of Photoshop. If you scroll down you will see the brushes for Ps and AI. When you save, except for the application in which you will use it. Let me know if that clears things up for you.

    Try this with one of your brushes:

    Go to your library and choose a brush

    Tap the change (square with a pen). This will open a Visual list of brushes

    If you want to use a brush in Photoshop, choose one of these brushes (tap the circle to check), name it and save it. It will save in your library as a brush in Photoshop and as soon as it syncs you should be able to open is there from the library panel.

  • Screen went black during use.  What can be the problem?

    That may be the problem if the screen turns black during use?

    First of all, if you use an iPhone 4 as indicated in your profile, it cannot be updated to iOS 9.3.

    Regarding the screen gone black, try a reset.

    Press and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

    If again, the screen becomes black, it is very possible that this is a problem with the hardware for a date of the iPhone 4.

    Hi, first of all the machine description

    OS: Win7 Pro 64 bit Original and new
    MB: ASUS P7H57D-V EVO
    Processor: Intel Core i7 860
    RAM: 4 x 2 GB Corsair XMS3 CMX4GX3M2A1600C9
    Graphics: Ati Radeon HD5670
    HARD drive: 2 x WD GP 1 TB - 1 x Seagate 1 TB

    Problem: a bit long to explain...
    I first tried to install the OS on a RAID1, so initially I set raid in the bios with the 2 WD1Tb, then I created the table and I started the installation.
    WIN DVD it recognises the table, it starts installing, it made the first reboot, when is close to finishing it gives an error that cannot complete the installation. I spent 10 days trying to solve the problem without result.
    So I decided to work around the problem, I installed the operating system on a single hard drive, then I cloned the HDD for the RAID1.
    Everything seems to go well but... Update Windows and MSN Messenger will not connect, as having a problem of equality SID.
    If I clone the installation of work, everything works on a different disk included WIN UPDATE and Messenger.
    Cloned on the table, right.
    The table is correctly recognized by WIN7, I downloaded the latest drivers from the Asus MB site, but the problem remains

    What can I try?

    If 'update of Windows and MSN Messenger' [AKA Windows Live Messenger] are not connected, the chances are it is a network problem. And then...

    1. what application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?  What anti-spyware (other than Defender) applications?  What third-party firewall (if applicable)?

    2. If Win7 64 bits is pre-installed on the computer when you bought it, a free trial Norton or McAfee came preinstalled, too? (No matter if you have never used or activated).

    Let us try the steps mentioned below to see if the problem is resolved.

    Step 1:

    a. Click Start; type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press ENTER.

    b. expand the batteries category.

    c. under the batteries category, right-click in the list of Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and choose uninstall.
    WARNING: Do not remove the Microsoft AC adapter driver or any other compatible ACPI driver.

    d. on the Device Manager, click Action and then click Scan for hardware changes.

    Windows will scan your computer for hardware which has not installed the drivers and will install the necessary drivers to manage the battery power. The notebook should now indicate that the battery is charging.

    Step 2:

    If this does not work, try power cycling of your laptop by following the steps below.

    a. remove the battery from your laptop, and then press the power button to all 15 sec.
    b. now connect to the battery and check if it works.

    I suggest also, please contact your computer manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions about it.

    If you look at system requirements for Acrobat 9 for Mac, you will see that it is only compatible with Mac OS X v. 10.4.11 or 10.5.

  • What appears on my screen does not appear on someone else when I attach to the e-mail.

    I have Acrobat Pro DC.  I used to have Acrobat 9.  I scanned a map.  I used the polygon tool to describe some parcels of land on the map and used a fill in color with a small percentage of opacity.  When I send the card as an attachment in an email.  All they can see is the original map, I scanned and two areas of text I inserted in the upper part.  None of the 5 colors that I put on the card appear.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work?

    That recipients use to display the PDF file? Not all PDF viewers supports all the features that can show the Adobe PDF viewers. If they are to use webmail for example and that you use Chrome to access your webmail account, PDF files will be displayed in the own PDF viewer of Chrome, which has its limits, the same is true for Firefox if it is not configured to use the Adobe viewer and browser MS Edge. Chrome and Edge cannot be configured to display PDF files in the browser using the Adobe viewer. For more information, see here:

    If it's not a browser problem, please find what software they use to view these PDF files.

    Safe mode is a diagnostic tool. Your add-ons and some options are
    disabled. If the program runs without failure, but not normal mode that says
    the likely cause is an add-on. Now the hard work begins.

    Launch Firefox in Mode safe
    While you are in safe mode;
    Firefox Options > advanced > General. Find and turn off
    Use hardware acceleration. Now restart.

    If there is still a problem, back in safe mode. Then
    Firefox > Modules > Extensions. Then go through and Disable EVERYTHING
    Add - ons. Stop and try again. Let us know how you do.

    Make sure that you use the latest version of the OS that you can find (from any carrier.)

    You can probably get it to work again by removing the battery and reinsert.
