I have windows 7 Home premium 64 - bit operating system. After the purchase, I discovered that 64-bit processors are incompatible with some older 32-bit compilers. I'm not able to run the version of turbo c++ 4.5 on my laptop. an error message appears indicating to check the version of the software that you are running. is there another option I can run on my laptop apart to change the operating system. I am in urgent need for the solution of this problem. Please help me...
Hi Shubham2336,
Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.
As I see it in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, Turbo C++ is not compatible with Windows 7.
See the link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx
I recommend that you contact the manufacturer of Borland Software for using the link below:http://supportline.microfocus.com/xmlloader.asp?type=home

Run VMW8 on 32-bit Ubuntu 12.04
Our system has an older Xeon processor that does not support requirements for a customer or a 64-bit host processor (we tried).
We decided to install a 32-bit host with Ubuntu 12.04. We installed VMware Workstation 32-bit 8.0.4.
We had to patch the vmnet.tar as elseware described in these forums and Services VMWare start and we can start the Workstation client.
However when we try to open an existing virtual machine or create a new VM Workstation displays a dialog box that says...
«Cannot change the State of the virtual machine: VMware Workstation cannot run this processor.» VMware Workstation requires a 64-bit processor with LAHF/SAHF support in long mode".
Host 32-bit, 32-bit Workstation, VM 32 bits... Requires a 64-bit processor?
Y at - it a patch or a flag that we can use to work around this problem?
Is there another OS/VMWare which will work on our CPU?
Thank you

You wouldn't happen to know if Workstation 7 64 - bit on a 64-bit Linux operating system, would allow us to create VMS 64-bit with our older than you processor?
64-bit with VT - x is required to operate the machinery virtual 64-bit on Intel hardware. The host operating system is irrelevant.

Updated to the latest version. Now that firefox is not running.
dated firefox now firefox will not run.
Have to use the dreaded IE for that matter. The point on the issue. Need to do a restart and FIrefox now works. GO figure. Problem solved.
-
Installation has been apparently successfully, I got a prompt to reboot and says OK. Firefox 17 closed, but there is no restart. Attempts to launch Firefox to icons or start menu get no reaction.
The Firefox.exe in Program Files is the 17.0.1.4715 version. It will not run.
Avast antivirus (but I did a lot of Firefox updates before this installation and no conflict).
on this site, you can choose a download to the location you want: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ (again, it just to install on top of your current version and it will replace it)

This has happened
Don't know how many times
I restored my system to an earlier date, December 2009

Firefox can not run visibly, but is probably running in the background. It is in the Task Manager. To access the Task Manager go to Start and type in taskmgrsearch field. This will open the process task manager. Then go to the tab processes and end firefox.exe. After the end of this process, close the Task Manager and try to re-run the installation/uninstallation.

Custom calculation does not run in Firefox
I have a custom in my pdf (Adobe XI) calculation script:
var v = this.getField("DefendantListBox").value;
If (typeof v is 'chain')
Event.Value = v;
on the other
Event.Value = v.join ("\n");
The script runs without problem on my desktop (windows). When I embed the pdf document in my web application via Firefox (33.1.1), the script does not run.
I am at a loss on how to enable the Adobe Javascript in Firefox.
There is a kind of corruption. I suggest you remove the text fields and re-create, possibly under a new name, and then copy the same code in them. When I do this, it works as it should.
Remember, however, that because the Multiple selection option is checked for list field, that value will be updated as soon as you exit the field, not at the time change you the selection.

I want a solution for the problem I was on Win 7 Pro Service Pack 1 in the links on an open Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.12 file will not open in my browser Firefox 33.0.2. The error I get is "Acrobat could not run the web browser. Unknown error. (123).

After updating Firefox. Tabs not saving
Hello.
After Firefox, upgrade to 37.0.1. Tabs not save after you close the browser.
I re - install Firefox. Problem not solved.
You can correct? In case you use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' or otherwise clear history:
- do not erase browsing history
- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "Use the custom settings for history": [X] 'Clear history of Firefox closing' > settings
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/remove-recent-browsing-search-and-download-history
Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).
- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".
- : Uncheck the [] "always use the private browsing mode.

Firefox 30.0 not completely clear memory Cache
I run the latest version of CCleaner before every time I put my computer to sleep or shut down and now after upgrading Firefox to 30.0 I noticed there are still files in the Cache of Firefox, which has not been deleted. I have my browser set to automatically erase my history. I noticed this before in other versions of Firefox that I've been updated, but went away when new patches are released.
That are probable images you see in the Windows Jump list that show if you click on Firefox on the Windows task bar.
You will need to disable the jump list if you don't want Firefox to generate these images.- topic: config page: browser.taskbar.lists.enabled = false

Instructions to change the tabs in Firefox down did not work
Windows 7 computer with Firefox 29. After updating Firefox, I wanted the rear legs down. I followed the instructions below, but "browser.tabs.onTop" do not arise in the search. Is there another way to put the tabs on the bottom?
How can I put tabs on bottom like they used to be?
In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page. In the Search field box at the top, type browser.tabs.onTop. Double-click the browser.tabs.onTop preference to set its value to false.
You can install this version of the Restorer Classic theme for the current version of TenFourFox which is based on the version of Firefox 31 ESR.
- Restorer of classic theme: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
If you have a version of TenFourFox based on Firefox 24 ESR while you need not (cannot use) the extension of the TRC.
For an informal ESR of 31 compatible Firefox version that is running on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can check TenFourFox.

- http://code.Google.com/p/tenfourfox/wiki/ReleaseNotes310
- You can check the settings of the extension of the CTR through the Options/preferences button on the page "Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions.
- You can find additional toolbar buttons and additional toolbar settings in customize (Firefox 3-bar menu button > customize)
You can get to the back edge and transfer buttons if you select small toolbar icons via the window customize.
The release of Firefox 31 has this button at the bottom of the '3' Firefox menu bar > customize once you install the extension of the TRC.See also:

28.0 stub Firefox installer does not open.
Running Windows 7. Downloaded installer (heel 28.0). I told him to run and nothing happens. He also asked if I want to start the Setup program. I said 'RUN', but nothing happens. I get a message that it could not load XPCOM. I tried several times without success. Downloaded several times.
Try instead the full installer. Also, do not run it directly, if your browser offers you this option. Save it in a place like the desktop and run it from there.
