  I don't know how, but my computer behaves normally.  For the time being.

  I will absolutely go on the suggestions you offer because now I'm a little paranoid that it could happen again.  The first thing I did was to create a restore point: If if my computer has forgotten who I am and what we do for 2 years, I have little confidence it will me humor by remembering a restore point.

  If you're curious, I rebooted this safe but when mode with the option of fixing my computer immediately the bat, I chose that.  Asked me to log in as an administrator, but it did not recognize my password.  I tried to log in under the other two profiles, but none of the passwords (the correct password, I wasn't guessing) have been recognized.  Finally, the system gave to my never be able to give the password so he wanted the window closed, and I was introduced to the usual start with the usual 3 Profiles screen.  I logged in that I normally use and! Hey presto! everything was back to normal.

  I'm not lying or mistaken when I say that the first thing I did when the problem occurred was to log on as a different user because I assumed that I had signed in under a different profile.  I logged in again under the correct profile, but everything was gone.

  I find it incredibly mysterious.

  Since the upgrade to 5.0, many Web sites tell me my browser is not up-to-date (for example, if I try to sign up for Google + it says my browser must be updated... even with a few pages on FaceBook). This is prevents me to use some Web sites and quite boring.

  Don't know if it's related, but since I have upgraded, if I click on options on one of my modules, nothing happens except that it restores the frozen browser and I can't click on anything without having to force close it and restart the browser.

  You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

  You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

  Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

• I wish I could see (in Firefox) dvd (including 3 VOBs, 2 IFOs and BUPs 2) downloaded to a folder on the web site.

MKV using a free converter called MiniCoder (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MiniCoder), then I got the generated code to make it play in web page (DivX to http://labs.divx.com/WebPlayerCodeGenerator) - then the browser request if I could allow him to go get the DivX plugin to view - until now GoogleChrome allows him to play immediately, IE to play after approval that there the plug-in , but Firefox is still to be obstinate.   I am running Firefox 19.0.2 on a Win 7 64 bit PC version and have noticed that on the pop-up windows, when the address bar is present, I get the message "go to a Web Site" on it rather than the address of the Web site. If I click with the right button on the icon of the little world on the address bar and choose Customize and then close this window without making any changes, the address of the site is full. Does anyone know how to get the address of the site to automatically display on the popup? My PC Win XP Pro is not this problem and popups always display the address of the Web site without having to do anything.
