Firefox ask you useless master password every time you start

When he started, Firefox asks unnecessarily my master password every time. My homepage (Google Finance) does not require a password. This occurs in SafeMode as well. It's annoying and time consuming. I X-out the main 10 seconds password request window after I start Firefox. Why would he do that? ... Firefox not used to do this.

You use Sync?

The synchronization used in Firefox 34 version then use password manager to store the name (e-mail) and password to use to connect to the synchronization server.

Earlier versions of Firefox used to store these data in the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder, but the current version only stores the sessionToken in this folder and need the password for the password manager.

First of all, if you have Firefox, you were downloading, do not download. Second, Firefox does not come with Ask as the default search. Where do you have Firefox? You should get the source Firefox: Mozilla. Thirdly, there are a lot of Windows programs that will try to implement the search engine toolbars in browsers when install you it if you don't pay close attention to each step of the installation.

Here, there are tools that should work:

  • Lr4 ask the serial number of every time he starts

I bought a license of Lightroom 4 from Adobe store upgrade and I can't get the serial number to keep after you enter it in the Startup dialog box. Whenever I run Lightroom, the application requests for the new serial number and the original serial number of the product that I upgraded from (Lr3). I get green checks when I enter numbers and functions of Lightroom normally, but when I quit and start Lightroom again once he starts from scratch and I need to enter again the two serial numbers.

    I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.3

A thread associated with an upgrade to Lr2 has a solution. I deleted the "Lightroom 4.0 Registration" file to/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom (NB: not library user) and I am asked is no longer the serial number. Yes!

  • I have the two Master Sync activated WITHOUT be asked for master password said at the start of the session and password?

The basic question is that whenever I start Firefox, I am invited, a few seconds later, my master password, regardless of if I will actually connect a site for which I saved my credentials.
This same number as well as a replica of his original poster chosen as the best answer has been published on the following link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1039575

I'm in the same situation as this poster, but I don't want to turn off sync. I need the master password set to protect my passwords stored, and I need the Sync feature enabled to share my profile between different computers that I use.
If I close the master password prompt at the start of the session and then I go to a page that I recorded the password, I should I get prompted again, and that's all I need. Also, I've installed Sync do NOT share my passwords stored, where the master password invite so that the effect is useless in my case.

So the question is simply how can I turn off the prompt for password at startup, have it pop up when you access a site that needs a password stored (or ask if I want to save a) and keep the clock running without sharing passwords.

    Thanks in advance.

    No, this is not possible.
Sync must retrieve the journal of authentication data in password manager and which requires to enter the password to unlock the password.

The synchronization used in Firefox 34 version then use password manager to store the name (e-mail) and password to use to connect to the synchronization server.
The chrome://FirefoxAccounts entry in the Password Manager stores (kA and kB) credentials in JSON format.
Earlier versions of Firefox used to store these data in the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder, but the current version only stores the sessionToken in this file and must the Manager password for the credentials of the synchronization.

Every day someone is trying to connect my Iphone6. Do I have to change my password every time? How can I stop this?

Your post says that someone is trying to connect 'on' your iPhone 6 - have - they possession of the phone or they try to connect your Apple from another device ID?

Note also that there are a number of phishing scams that send e-mails that appear to come from Apple, but are not current. Do not use any links in these emails if you are not.

If they are trying only to log in instead of sign in successfully it would be not necessary to change your password. • How can I get my email without entering a password every time?

It seems that now I have to enter my password every time I use Tbird to download my email. Previous to this problem, two things:
    (1) my e-mail account had been compromised, so I changed the password with my ISP.

    (2) I tried to use a master password to Tbird Options > Security and it is a pain. So I decided that I didn't want to use a master password and wanted to return to my e-mail downloads how did before, so I disabled the master password.

Options > password security guard is populated by several email addresses and password. I want to keep them intact - but if I want to change the password, or delete it, the instructions indicate that all passwords will be lost. Do I need them in this place? I find that things don't quite work if I delete them the strike.

I always get guests to enter a password when I use Tbird - my ISP password, it turns out that, not for my master password. I'm confused and want just that he make it simple again.

If I want to change the password, or remove, the instructions say that all passwords will be lost.

I don't know what are the instructions you're talking about, but I don't think that is correct. See

    Hi Ron,

Have you looked at article in the Knowledge Base using the search in Firefox bar? There are lots of good information in there. You happen to have an installed Yahoo! toolbar? You must disable or delete as well if you do. Try to start Firefox in Mode safe mode by holding down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox. If you have any problems using the safe, it's a matter of add-on or extension.

    Hope this helps!
