• Geez, Fusion 5.0 looks like it is not ready for prime time!

  I rely on the merger to run my Sunos 10.5, 10.6, Windows 7, oS Linux RHE.   I don't have not upgraded to ML yet due to some issues with IPSEC VPN.  It seems now 5 Fusion does not work with Lion 10.7.4 and that's the least of his problems.  It is such a disaster that brought me from Parallels to VMWARE in 3.0, despite the fact that it turns out that they charge $50 every year or so for upgrades and I two MBP to upgrade.

  Interesting that this upgrade is timed with a deal to get the latest Parallels for $39, if you have VMware.  I used a trial version and imported a Solaris 10.5 UNIX, WIndows 7 and 10.4 Fedora Linux VM and works very well.  What the hell happened to FUsion?   Is this the type of press

  We can expect on the hypervisor pro?  Should I look for to start recommending open source hypervisor (which we all know well)?

  From the personal and professional point of view, I have some real serious concerns here.  I have a lot of clients running the VMWARE hypervisor for virtualization on Wall Street.  I think it just barely live Q / a.  Looks like I really need start looking for ZEN.  Irony is that the C-level execs seem like when a product is 'legitimated' by price, releases, etc. (so of Fedora and RHE, at the time not taken seriously until)

  RHE came out for $3,000... then it's OK).

  Looks like it's back to Parallels. + 2 parallels.   I can't take a chance of installing junk that don't work.

  V10.7.4 OS X has some issues with usb3 devices stability, as it seems. I saw it myself, and it has lot of problems mentioned by people on different forums. Mountain Lion seems to have a more stable usb3 pilot, even if there are still some problems. I have to admit that I see many problems with usb3 and stability in general (meaning: also on Windows 7). Maybe that usb3 for OS X and Windows 7 drivers may need time to mature. I hope it is different with Linux and Windows 8. Maybe it's the cause of your problems, but I'm not sure about this.

  Anyway, you mention that the external hard drive uses its own encryption and merge sort is not able to use the virtual disk to the virtual machine. You are able to use this external drive like any other drive in OS X? As creating folders, copying documents from the drive, removal of files, etc.. It worked with Fusion 4.1.3 on the same machine? How did you upgrade? Did you stop all the vm before the upgrade or you did suspend?

  Just for my own information: are you currently testdriving VMware Fusion 5?

  Edit: I was reading the notes version and found some thing usb3 in the known "problems":

  • Unable to start a VM from USB 3.0 on MacBook Air 5.1 devices
    You may not be able to start a virtual machine from the devices USB 3.0 on MacBook Air 5.1.
    When you attach a USB 3.0 device, you see the error messageThe  device 'XXX' was unable to connect to its ideal host controller. An  attempt will be made to connect this device to the available host  controller. This might result in undefined behavior for this device.

    You can ignore the error message and the installation of the OS on the USB device. However, after restarting the virtual machine, the USB 3.0 device does not appear in the Start Menu.

    Solution: Use a USB 2.0 as a replacement device.

  This sounds a bit like the problem you are experiencing. I wonder if it isn't just a problem of usb3 with all new MBA 2012 and MBP models (including the retina MBP). Maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

  Looks like that the elements were left out or deleted. On export presets don't work no and mysterious warnings of synchronization for Audio hunt me rabbits instead of work. I'm afraid to use PS, ID, or other tools at this stage.  Can we only a platform stable return so it's to be done?

  I tried every single problem I found online and still nothing... I have the latency of 400-500 on average, before with XP I had the average of 100-150 Ms.  Something wrong with Windows 7!

  Don't get issues with BF2 online under Win7 64 bit. Looks like some of your material my have problems with Win7. You have the latest drivers for everything? If you can't find the drivers Win7 using Vista.

  Given that most of us is online games with Win7 without problems, it seems that the problem is on your side.

  Method 1: Check that all connectors (power and IDE) should be firmly fixed. Disconnect and reconnect to check.

  Method 2: As short-term solution, try to shut down the system, turn the power off, turn on the power and restart. If the device still does not work then it is probably a problem of material, the device or card/main controller card (or possibly the cable connection) will need to be replaced. If the device seems to work then this indicates a problem of software or firmware. Do not forget that the problem can recur again unless the root causes addressed.

  HP Smart Print 2.1.0.235 worm installed and works well with 10 IE, but Firefox 21.0 installed only to the administrator account - does not appear for other users.  Not visible as 'Add-on' or 'extension '.  The intelligent print icon displayed on the menu bar to administrator (installed from this account), but is absent from the toolbar in other user accounts, and does not appear in any list of icons to be placed on one of the toolbars.  How can I fix this, other than to switch to IE?  It also does not appear when I installed the Bing toolbar!  How can I access this software for Firefox?

  Use DeviceInfo.getIdleTime () to determine the time of inactivity. You can check it out in a timertask and kill your app with a reminder.

  I love how firefox will save tabs from a previous session, and I discovered how to activate these settings through your useful support site. But I was wondering if it was possible to restore not just tabs in a previous session, but to save one entire window of tabs for later occaisions other next time firefox is used? I would favorite rather not the heap, because it is just too many to keep organized so I could leaf through back to the page I wanted. Thank you!

  Right-click on a tab and use the bookmark all tabs...

  After that you want to open the tabs as a group, right click on that folder and select open all tabs...

  Save these bookmarks as long as you need and delete the file when you do not need any longer.

• Firefox * icon * is not anywhere for a standard user Windows 7 x 64

  I've created a normal user account for the person who would be using this system, then use Windows easy transfer to move files and settings from the old system of Windows XP account.

  I also created another ordinary account, for me to use as a third-party administrator-level account.

  When I use the account 'my ordinary', Mozilla app icons are displayed very well. The locations are: taskbar, menu start and in the opened Windows Explorer window on "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox" and "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Thunderbird»

  When I go to the other user account, all of the 'icons', in * all * areas, are white rectangles, with what looks like a chart 'generic window.

  It looks like to me a permissions problem, preventing the environment of the window to the reading of any file icon image, the image is stored in. I don't know the name of the file that contains the icon image, so I can't verify this. I can say Firefox and Thunderbird, both performed very well in all accounts.

  I just installed the "convenience store" add-on, but note that I did this since a properly installed and running as an admin user. He can't predict something useful.

  I want / need to have these icons correctly. All other installed is fine, including other third-party software.

  Try to rebuild the Windows icon cache.

  1. Open the task (Ctrl + Shift + ESC) Manager
  2. In the processes tab, right-click on the Explorer.exe process and select end process.

  4. Type or paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local in the file name field (AppData is a hidden folder).

  6. After that the IconCache.db file has been deleted, start a new explorer.exe process through "file > new task" for the job and work the taskbar to return.

  In Windows Explorer, verify that you can see the IconCache.db file before doing the above mentioned steps because the IconCache.db file may be a hidden file.

• Case held (not gel) for some time

  So I got 2 analog input via NiMyrio and I got a deal of true/false because if the two signals larger than the trigger point as I put, it will enter in the case of true.

  The problem because both signals is put in correspondence with the comparison to very fast time, this means that the real case will happen after this date that is too fast. After that it will change to cuz case misstep signals of time corresponding to the comparison more.

  If the case don't give me enough time to fulfill the function inside the housing. (example I want number 5 decremented to number 1 in 5 sec but it could not be done because of the case will turn to false cases like the true case happening very quickly)

  There is nothing to do with signals, their charesteristics who behave so

  I wonder is anyway I can hold the case for time to complete the function inside as the true case happening too quickly according to the signal.

  "I tried" delay "and" wait until the next multiple. They can hold, but at the same time to freeze the program as well which is meaningless cuz she also only freeze function inside I want to perform.

  Here's what happens:

  -Once the case is entered, the delay time say you keep of 100ms

  -If the remaining part of the code runs at scenario1:50ms and scenario2: 150ms

  -In scenario 1: because of the delay, the case held for 100 ms-50ms = 50ms

  -In scenario 2, the code moves after completing its code.

  -Until the delay time provides is the case will take minimum of 100 ms.

  -Timer is just pointer to the clock and during this time also code runs.
