Firefox Beta release notes redirect to a 404 page

The Firefox Installer beta offers a 'Détails' link when a new version is available.
However, this link was broken in the last editions. Version 28 sends me to the following invalid page:
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/28.0/releasenotes/

The correct page is:
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/28.0beta/releasenotes/

Bug 971351 has been filed for this. It has now been fixed and the original URL now works:

https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/28.0/releasenotes/

  • Its results are not redirect to the respective pages

    Hi all

I configured ITS Peoplesoft peopletools 8.53 and ELM 9.2 instance.

After you have everything configured, ITS search results arrive correctly but is you click on it, it is not redirecting to the respective pages.

This is to show the error on the page in the status bar of Internet Explore.

Could you please help me to solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Probably you are encountering the problem that is described in this document of knowledge "My Oracle Support":

Doc # 1551951.1: Search 'Results list' contains links that do not work because they are built with the incorrect URL

    Here is the solution:

    ------------------------

Make sure that the content/portal URI are set correctly on all nodes the.  This can be done as follows:

    1. connect to the PeopleSoft application

    2. go to PeopleTools Integration Broker, integration configuration, nodes

    3. sort by "Local node".

    4. for any node where "node Local = 1' do the following:

    a. set up the node

    b. go to the tab "portal."

    c. ensure that the text "URI Content" and "Portal URI text" are properly defined.

For example, if your Integration Broker is on myserver.mycompany.com:8000 and your site is called hcm, you would use these values:

Text of the URI of the content = "http://myserver.mycompany.com:8000/PSC/hcm /"

    Portal of text URI = "http://myserver.mycompany.com:8000/psp/hcm /"

(Write it down "/" at the end of the values.) Make sure you remember that)

    d. make sure this change is made to all nodes. For example, for HCM, this aspect should be defined for nodes PSFT_HR and HRMS.

    5. after making the above changes, you need to rebuild the search index. Do this as follows:

    a. redeploy all the definitions of research that were built with the incorrect URL as follows:

-Go to PeopleTools, research framework, Administration, deployment/delete the object

-Box next to the definition of inactive research

    -Click "undeploy".

-Once finished, check the box next to the definition of research and this time click "deploy".

    b. rebuild search indexes

-Go to PeopleTools, research, Administration, research agenda Index

-Bring the command run to perform a build of the full Index and launch it.

    c. Once finished the process ' Building for Search Index ', re - test and verify that the problem is solved.

  • When I open firefox, it does not start on my home page, but on a search page, I never intentionally downloaded and uninstalled from my computer. Why?

Today, I had a lot of trouble with my computer. I think that he was attacked by something underhanded, but I managed to stop it and fix everything. Everything about this thing.

When I open the firefox browser, it will not automatically to my home page, despite having followed all the instructions to do this. Instead, it opens in an engine search called 'awesomehp' that, previously, never heard and never installed. When I click on the 'home' - button, it goes to my real home page, and everything is ok.

I tried to uninstall it... "awesomehp" engine of research, but it ALWAYS appears automatically when I open FireFox. Why? And this is even after I have reset FireFox settings by default once.

Why this happens, and what can I do about it?

Looks like you picked up a pirate of the page. See this for help to get rid of it:

I think it has something to do with java, but not sure

Just so that you know, there are no Java on this page.  There are, however, JavaScript.  You should know that these two things are different, like night and day.

To solve your problem, change this-

    function MM_swapImgRestore() //v3.0 {}
    var i, x = offline. MM_sr; for (i = 0; a & I)
    }

    on this subject.

    function MM_swapImgRestore() //v3.0 {}
    var i, x = offline. MM_sr; for (i = 0; a & I)
    }

  • Firefox beta 35. not ready for prime time.

I spent all weekend trying to get the beta version of Firefox 35 to work. What I found is that * extensions of all it does not work with the exception of the maintenance of the premises. I can't download any extension that Firefox is so famous. The error is something like "unable to install"plugin-name"in its current state." Activation of any extension requires a FF reboot, same places maintenance. Try to remove an extension fails and must be done manually.

I'm on Windows 7 Premium desktop Firefox 32 bits. I've 'committed' myself to 35 FF last night (which means history and cache out of settling because did not work it extension "expire history by days'), when I found out that 35 played well with some sites using Flash. It was a capricious thing. Many sites worked as usual, but some would not. Examples:
    http://www.Wunderground.com/us/Wi/La_Crosse.html

    http://www.weather.com/weather/5day/l/Hustler+Wi+54637:4:us

First time I have had a problem with a version beta of Firefox, but it's definitely not ready for prime time. I realize FF tries to get away from what we call 'Exclusive Modules' but 35 FF in its current state just fill in Support of Moz forums with millions of complaints (guess I'm one of the first). I now have 1 extension (the only one that works on 35), the above mentioned "Site Maintenance".

I thought you might like this report as 'user input '. God knows I've tried... I have downloaded 35 at least a dozen times and then was forced to 34.0.5. So I'm back on 34.0.5

I presented a report bug here:
    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1108196

I would like to know if anyone else is having these problems or anyone needs more information. I'd love to help solve this problem. I know that some of you good support people have probably tried to 35. You experience the same difficulties?

Here is my (34.0.5 but it's the same as I had about 35 last night, with the exception of 'Version') troubleshooting information less 1 million admissions for my printer:

    Experimental features

Good news, friends... and thanks for holding my hand during all this time. I mainly need to know if my problems were me. global or all just... and perhaps others with some configurations.

I am now on 35.0b2 (not sure how that happened). Anyway, I downloaded beta, that is, reset Firefox, added my cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite, has spent half an hour in the 'options', and then checked things and seems to be back in the game!

    Thank you and best regards,
    Axis

  • The new beta release notes

Where can I find the changes made in the latest beta (32.0b8 vs 32.0b7, for example)?

    Thank you.

    Hello, please refer to http://release.mozilla.org/statistics/32/2014/08/20/fx-32-b7-to-b8.html

  • Firefox beta 18 'unresponsive' whenever I load a page. This didn't happen as well with FF3.5.4.

I tried various updates/upgrades (4 and higher) Firefox updated. I currently have beta 18 of the combustion chamber. Whenever I load a page, the browser always crashes and I get "Not responding" in the status bar. The blocking time is usually longer than a few minutes or I leave the program via the Task Manager. Sometimes after the Frost, I get a "warning: script was insensitive" popup and then it will freeze again (I can't even press 'stop the script' or 'continue') because the popup is "not responding".

I don't seem to have this problem with FF3.5.4 (only this version has found to be compatible) but I can't display flash plugins/media or certain features of a webpage because it is not updated. I would therefore not downgrade to 3.5.4 because there is no point if I can't see half the things on a page...

If you have updated from version as old as 3.5.4, then you run the risk to be faced with problems. You should start with a fresh profile to ensure old preferences, the data files and the changes made by the extensions do not interfere.

Start by creating a backup copy of your file profile, just to be sure.

Then use the reset Firefox feature.

If the problem persists, see the following article.

Do not reinstall the older versions of Firefox. They contain security flaws and should not be used. Very old versions may be also unable to manage data files in your folder for profiles in their new formats, which can lead to all sorts of problems. And finally, many sites Web requires a modern browser to work properly.

  • Whose action command button does not redirect me to another page. Why?

    Hello

I have a command button in a jspx page and an unlimited workflow with two pages, where there is a rule of flow control between them, which needs to redirect the user from the first page to the second page. However when the user clicks the button, the updated page actually without having to navigate to the second page. Why does this happen?

    Here are the details:

    ADFC-config:

    <-flow-control id rule = "__42" >
    <-activity-id id = "__43" > first < /-activity-id >
    < control-flow-case id = "__44" >
    < result id = "__49" > go < / de-results >
    <-activity-id id = "__45" > second < / to-activity-id >
    < / control-flow-case >
    < / control-flow-rule >

    command button:

    < af:commandButton text = 'Go' id = "cb1" action = "go" / >

Well, can you give more details?
    Jdev version?
You start the app with a url ending with ".jspx' by chance?
If so, you must remove this ".jspx" ending as it does not start the workflow.

    Timo

  • Why the beta release more versions of production?

The version currently available in beta version download direct and auto-updates to date is 20.0.0.255 for NPAPI but the current production version is 20.0.0.267 so why exactly is the number of comparable to less the same production release beta or is simply not synchronized?

Comparing currently available for production release notes beta release notes shows that fixes the beta until 18 November 2015 went to the production version for 8 December 2015 and patches of the beta until December 22, 2015 (same date as the latest beta) to production December 28, 2015 , whose version for this date has been 20.0.0.267. But there is no history of previous beta release notes, and what is currently available in the beta release notes does not even the current version number beta since everything there is for 20.0.0.230 (which does not match the latest date) so its somewhat sketchy on the possibility to determine why the beta number regime fell significantly below comparable versions of production.

Another problem with them being more out of sync, it's that production ActiveX version 20.0.0.270 was released on January 1 with no update to the beta download pages, release notes, etc. I use too much news, a version of Windows to check what ActiveX version is actually available for download, even if it seems to be as old as the other versions. Oh and this raises another question. The main beta page has the date of December 22, 2015, but the beta download page has the date of December 16, 2015 so that they are not reliable either. So it seems that even if you ignore the match numbers that the last beta version file is not as new as the latest production version, which is even more absurd.

All these inconsistencies make me seriously feel like giving up beta programs even if I found and reported a couple crashes last year, if they can't even keep track of which is which. Very few very popular software professional and a great company. I hope that this will trigger some kind of audit to triple - check that all the files, documents, points distribution and all for the two output channels are completely synchronized. Please either explain or if not then at least just fix it so all things are not such a mess.

Our priority, especially with off-cycle releases (fix emergency for the safety and functional escalation), is to get the ~2.5Bn people using the channel output in good condition.  Once that was taken care of, we usually try to keep with a beta that exceeds the version in the next few days.

December/January was punctuated an emergency security fix (so that the entire society was on vacation) and a few subsequent fixes for functional fallout.  The beta chain was not a priority target during this period.  The goal is generally to move the beta chain to a newer version than the final version in a few days, but it is not always possible, especially when we are operating with a reduced crew.

We * will * to the next major release of Flash Player shortly before beta channel.

Your point is well founded on contradictions with the documentation.  For all this stuff, I'd like to be an artifact of the build system, but is a process manual, subject at the present time.  It's a long time that the Flash was on an 18-month cycle, and beta versions came at intervals of 30 to 90 days.  The team was about 3 x more as well.

We have moved at a rate of modern output and have made investments of huge security along the way, but the manual documentation process persists and are long enough.  It clearly leaves to be desired, but the reality is that we make decisions hard prioritization and things like beta documentation are secondary to the security of end users and ensuring that when in the bowels of Flash security patches were unfortunate, unforeseen side effects, those be resolved as quickly as possible.

We really appreciate the effort to test the beta community will contribute, with the huge amount of data on the overall stability it generates.  The documentation and logistics for all releases (beta and otherwise) fall on the shoulders of a small handful of dedicated and hard-working.  We are eager to help them in improving efficiency and automation, and we will try to keep a closer eye on the subject in the meantime.

    Thank you!

Typing a wrong URL in the URL from Firefox 31.0 bar redirects me to us.yhs4 yahoo com search that displays the LAVASOFT logo. It is not the case with any of my other browsers (IE, Chrome, Opera, Safari). So this cannot be a problem ISP as shown in all current references to Firefox.
This problem started after I uninstalled adaware from LAVASOFT. It itself instead of uninstall. Thus, it is malware behavior while LAVASOFT is pretending to protect against malware.
Nevertheless, I would like to know how to get rid of this annoying 404 redirect hijack. My home page is about to startpage com, my default search engine is startpage com, all references to Lavasoft and adaware have been removed by subject: config and Windows registry...
How to get rid of this spam redirect, please?

Click Tools > Options, then general tab

In the home page box, type the url you want to fire fox opens by default when you start the browser.

  • Try to download firefox beta on Sony Ericsson X 10 reveals the message "the requested item is not found. What can be the problem?

I try to download and install Firefox beta 3 for Android 2.3 on Sony Ericsson X 10. I am able to access the site of the Chamber of combustion/m well but when to download, I get the error message "not found - the requested item is not found."

The link to download Firefox for the Android Market does not work on phones with incompatible equipment. You can check if your phone is compatible here:

    https://wiki.Mozilla.org/mobile/platforms/Android

Even on some devices supported, a bug in the software of the market prevents Firefox from appearing. This may be linked to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to settings/Applications/market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update and then seek out and install Firefox on the market.

Or, if you have a compatible phone, you can download the application directly from here:

    http://FTP.Mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/Mobile/Releases/4.0b3/Android-R7/multi/

(Note: to download the app directly to an AT & T phone, you will have to search for 'sideloading' instructions in the APK file, because AT & T disables the option to install non-market sources.)

  • eBay sidebar does not work in Firefox beta 20.0.

The sidebar of eBay does not work with Firefox Beta 20. I can navigate its tabs, but cannot get any content or connect to eBay with it. He worked until a recent firefox update. I tried to uninstall the sidebar and reinstall but nothing has changed. I have just updated Firefox to version than 20.3 Beta but there is no improvement with the side bar of the eBay on it. Please advise on a solution I use eBay most of the time box.

Sounds as if this add-on may need to be updated for Firefox 20; Contact the developer of this add-on.

In the meantime, if you use "mission critical" or "must have" addons you would be better to use the final version of Firefox and stay away from the beta version.

  • I've just updated to Firefox Beta 20. Not happy! The options "View Background Image" and "Image Mode" when you right-click is missing. How can I get that back?

I've just updated to Firefox Beta 20. Not happy! The options "View Background Image" and "Image Mode" when you right-click is missing. How can I get that back?

These entries should still be there if you right click on an image or an area with a background image.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
