  • RVS4000 V2 blocks every day 1-2

Hello everyone! My brand new V2 RVS4000 replaced old USR8003 router in the same network home. The USR8003 didn't require any intervention by the user for years. RVS4000 are running in the same network and with the same address (192.168.123.254) LAN IP requires a power cycling every day or two. The router is connected to the modem Motorola SB6120 cable. The local network includes some PC (WinXP SP3), two LinkSys APs, Roku, DirecTV receiver and some WiFi devices. The router runs in gateway with DHCP server active mode. Most of the devices have static IP addresses in the DHCP address range. When the router crashes, it looks like a normal situation because the LEDs are light up the same way as usual shows the activities of ports. When it is locked, the RESET button has no effect as well as web and telnet interface. The only option is to restart the router, which restores the State of operation up to another lock upward. The following actions were taken:

    • updated firmware updated to V2.0.3.2
    • Restore the default settings
    • People with disabilities IPS, QoS, most of the optional functions of firewall
    • Moved from statis IP addresses in the DHCP address range

It does not resemble a harware issue, but rather a software bug. Right now I'm running the Syslog server to correlate the jamming with the modem restarts (Yes, it happens from time to time, but not touch USR8003). I can't find information documentation Cisco static IP on the LAN and addresses if they must be outside the range of Address DHCP. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Boris, I think you're in the right place with the external syslog to see if there are errors of statement. Only other reason apart from the failure of software/hardware, may be somehow a conflict of IP address upstream.

Static clients should not be in the DHCP scope.

You can call the support center to get a look at things if the syslogs are revealing.

  • I need to reinstall Firefox almost every day. Otherwise, it just does nothing. Any suggestions for a fix.

At least once a day, I find that Firefox does not open. This occurs after I closed another web site. I click on a shortcut and nothing happens. The only thing that works is to reinstall Firefox. Can you give me an idea of why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it. I use Firefox 19.0 running on Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 with flash player and Java enabled.

Do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a new copy of Firefox.

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox, if possible, the settings in the software security and cleaning of the Windows registry.

    • Do NOT remove the data personal when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because all profile files will be deleted and you will also lose your personal data such as bookmarks and passwords from other versions of Firefox profiles.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but make sure that 'delete personal data' is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

If you keep problems also create a new profile.

  • 24 of Firefox crashes constantly every day on Windows 7 64 bit

Firefox crashes every day! It has been a long time and I'm starting to get frustrated. It hangs just for unknown reasons. I don't have any Norton software. I tried to restart Firefox in safe mode, but it crashes before entering. I tried restarting Firefox from the start, as if I just installed but nothing. Here's the latest report of the accident I have: bp-c602fe74-e94f-477c-8212-a97e32131017

Hello, Accel, your accident was caused by a library named BitGuard.dll - when google you name this file, it is often associated with malware, so I assume that your system is infected...

Please run a full scan of your system with software security already in place and the various tools such as the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner, microsoft safety scanner and kaspersky security scan.

  • I suddenly can't all sites that I use every day on Firefox to load. I tried to empty the cache. No difference. How can I fix it?

I use Firefox every day to access many sites. Yesterday, it worked perfectly. Today, that it won't work at all. I just get "Unable to connect" message when I try to load websites - and sites work on other programs (even if I need to use firefox to do certain things on some of them...) so it is not a problem of internet access. I read the help articles and they help at all. I tried to empty the cache. It makes no difference. I tried to check that no proxy is highlighted under the advanced access settings. It is, and see which makes no difference. I tried looking to see if Firefox is permitted to access the web through my windows computer - but I can't say what program he would need to connect. And I have not changed my settings since yesterday - when it worked perfectly (or seems to). That shouldn't be the problem.
Ive wasted most of the fights with this morning. What the hell is going on here and how can I solve this problem?

Hello, normally these problems are caused by a security/firewall software which does not recognize and therefore blocks the new versions of firefox - firefox 23 was released yesterday: solve connection problems to websites after Firefox update

  • Stop Firefox from the stop pop-up ads on the Web site used every day

When I select a link to a website used by day, Firefox said it blocks a popup window. I want to stop Firefox to do what I'm going on these sites every day and am tired of this irritating.

    Hello

Firefox pop-up blocking settings are in the preferences - have a look in the Edit menu, and the tab content contains your popup blocking options. You should be able to solve the problem by adding the site that you are interested in the list of exceptions. Take a look on the article about it here.

  • Firefox does not record the history of the previous day. The history of every day, all the previous is erased as Favorites.

Potentiometer for the recording of history. Do not track is selected, but same result without this option. The settings were reset with no change in the result. Version is 20.0.1. Previous versions seemed correct. Logging in and out is correct. There is only a 'today' entry, no days previous, every day as I log.

  • The new version of Firefox was installed a few days ago, and I've set up like I wanted; now it is re-installed every day, and I have to put up again.

I just want to know why Firefox thinks it must be reinstalled every day, and what I can do to stop it.

You mean that it maintains itself? You can turn off the Service of Maintenance of Mozilla and see if that helps. This page explains how to:

You can set Firefox so that it does not have the automatic updates as well. The settiing is in Options > Advanced Options > update.

I tried to go to Web sites that I visit every day and they are all blocked by a virus that seems to be Mozilla (but isn't) and watch the logo of mozilla and says my site has been blocked by the parent control of Mozilla and you must sign up for this. He asks that all the personal information you give NEVER online so I knew it was a virus. I write this in safe mode. My Vipre will not pick up this virus and Malware bites either. I have deleated Mozilla and reinstalled but it did not work.

Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot.

Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

  • Almost every day, I leave Firefox open for a number of hours to find it closed on its own during my absence. Why?

Today, it was a typical day. I was on my laptop Dell electronic control around 16:00 I left the computer connected and powered with Firefox 8.0 still running. When I came back to my computer laptop about 07:20, I found that Firefox had closed on its own. No sign of a crash. It was simply closed. While not a huge problem, I don't like having to restart Firefox. Other applications continue to run when not in service. Why not Firefox? Or y at - it a setting I can use to prevent this from happening? Either way, this happens every day without exception.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

I block junk emails every day, always bring, I mark the email phishing scam day after day, always find them in the same places day after day after day, is it possible to stop really and how?

    original title: tired of it

You have posted in a forum for MSE, antivirus, antimalware application.  You must investigate e-mail options... providers (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc) screen several e-mail for spam.  You don't have not yet described here your email client... so there is little that anyone can tell you that generic advice.

  • Two sites that I go to every day are not in a format of Web page on the screen.

After the latest Mozilla update, there are two sites that I go to every day. These sites are not formatted in Web page format. For example, a site is my century e-mail account link. I can connect on e-mail, but the page that is displayed indicates and looks like a Microsoft Word document. The other Web site is my online banking Web site. No other site don't give me wrong.

    You can attach a screenshot?

Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot.

Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (MAC)

Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Also, make sure that your security (firewalls, anti-virus) software is blocking the files or modify response headers causing Firefox to get the pages as text/plain instead of text/html.

You can check that in tools > Page Info > general and in the net Web Console log (Web Developer > Web Console;) CTRL + SHIFT + K).

  • a web site that I use every day tells me that I must now download flash and enable the java script, how can I do this?

I use the American family site every day, and today when I went to play the games that I play every day instead of the game coming to the top, a notice that says I have to install flash and activate java script in order to see these games.

You do not have the Shockwave Flash 11.0 r1 plugin so Flash should work.

    You can test here:

That leaves option that you've blocked JavaScript.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Firefox blocks the pop-up Windows Gmail even after adding exception of Gmail

Firefox Gmail blocks every time I try to open a new window/tab through my Inbox, asking me permission each time. It's a question of low but persistent. I entered the content settings and added Gmail as an exception to the rule of the pop-up and also checked the Info Page to make sure that pop-ups were allowed from Gmail. No solution seems to work. Are there patches? Beyond to allow all pop-ups?

Oh, which explains it. Redirect block is a completely different framework.

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

Under the mini general tab in the accessibility section, uncheck the box for "warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.
