  I am totally new to the features of the MAF, let me just 1 thing right, im familiar with the implementation of javascript as on PHP. For example, (1) you can create a js file in a certain directory of your project as long as you can connect properly. And, on the php page, you link such as)<script type="text/javascript" src="file.js"></script>)to be of use inside of your php page or (2)locally run the javascript function inside your php page such as

  function myFunction(){
   Alert("Hello World.");
}.

  


  So far what I've done on the tutorial javascript MAF, same case, you need to specify your javascript function inside a .js file and save your js file in your maf function (so that the javascript functions are available and can be called through the java method of AdfmfContainerUtilities.invokeContainerJavaScriptFunction () inside your file of java bean managed). After that, in my case to test the tutorial, I need to create a managed bean method to call the associated javascript function based on my actionlistener to the button that ive created inside my amx page, it didn't work (NOTHING HAPPENED when the button is clicked, as maybe it's because I was wrong by calling the managed bean method or class({viewScope.popupHelperBean.onPopupShowHideAction}). )

  Thanks, I had run successfully the popup alert box based on javascript this tutorial you had linked to me, it seems that I am on the right track on how to run javascript on the page of the amx. Its just that the tutorial I mentioned on my post doesn't seem to work as it should, I'll try to resolve the issues for a while. I just want to share with the community who are new to the MAF and are currently working on the custom javascript on page amx application:

  1. include your js inside your working directory file

  2. Add the javascript code that is personalized to your AMX

  3. create a managedbean and a method that could call the javascript function

  I have problem with my Toshiba Satellite L650-116. I can't play games online. "Every time when I m starting the game, top salons reviews failed to connect with the server.
  I tried with different games such as: Americas Army, World of Tanks and others. These are free games. I already removed antivirus and turned off the firewall windows but still nothing, I by default windows 7 installed. Any ideas?

  After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
  For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
  What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!
  I work with computers all the time at work but not the technical stuff. If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types. We use the desk at work as well. Personally, I like computers laptops for various reasons. And the mention of people many browsers go way over my head.

  a. If it functioned very well under Windows 7 before?

  ·         I suggest you to disable your firewall security software and check if you are able to play the game.

  Firefox opens 10 empty windows everytime I open the browser.

  Looks like you have another program that is running in the background. Google Maps made this for me - it did not close down. To fix this set your homepage to a site that you would not normally visit - doing nothing, so go back to your normal home page and reset it again. Problem should be gone - but I avoid Google maps now because I don't want it to happen again. However, Google Earth is very well.
