Firefox crash ID bp-b6c83b3a-4594-4721-af54-0f5ed2120513 why is that happening

Firefox sometimes crashes when I close it.

Great its been over two weeks and it collapsed so it is finally fixed so all I had to do was to update one of my plugins (Adobe Reader) and make a few configuration changes to my Sandboxie (allowing it to record history and cookies outside the sandbox) then disable in Firefox , so if someone else has this problem try to update your plugins and if you Sandboxie try to activate history & cookies as well.

  • Firefox crashes when you open a blank tab

Only in the last day, I started having problems with Firefox crashing. In the first hour, the problem only seemed to happen when I went to some websites, such as Gmail or YouTube.

Now, however, Firefox will crash as soon as I open a new empty tab. I am able to start Firefox, and it will show the page to "re-establish the Session. I can use the menu to open, for example, on: supports, but as soon as I do CMD + T to open a new tab, Firefox will crash.

  • After a download, but only when the download tab is opened, Firefox crashes.

The following message is displayed in a text box "WARNING: the Script does not": "a script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding." You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script ends. "Script: chrome://global/content/bindings/richlistbox.xml:358. The download window can be opened in a tab in the background and this same error occurs, or Firefox can even be reduced with the download either on top or in the background tab. The error window appears under other software and sits on the desk, often invisible. Sometimes, but not always, all of the computer may hang on it. The problem is particularly bad, when I have Firefox and Photoshop CS2 both race. At the same time that happened, Firefox also began to refuse to play flv (YouTube) in full screen videos. The computer is a Dell Inspiron older with a Pentium M 1600 Mhz processor and a gig of ram. I am running Windows XP Professional with service pack 3.

This is the Download Manager Tweak. I was getting this problem from 2012-04-14 and have not either of the other two addons that suspected a_grush.

For me, the problem was * primarily * bypassed with DMT put the download tool in a tab instead of its own window or the sidebar. I even made a permanent app tab. The 'error' message still sometimes arises especially when you go to the downloads tab.

I have * some * worked around the bug when I experimented with the downloads tool in the sidebar. The false error always does appear quite often in this arrangement, especially if you try to interact with the sidebar, reloading for example a transfer failed, but much less often then when it was in it's own window, which caused the almost constant "errors." That said, the sidebar function is essentially useless anyway, because you can't see the full file name, nor any useful buttons, as the reload-this-download button.

To get rid of the message 'error' entirely, get rid of it entirely DMT.

For me, even the few dialogues pop up in the mode tab were too, and I've disinstalled DMT.

  • Firefox crashes

After the update to firefox43.1 this morning (19 December), firefox is in constant crash mode. I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 or 4 times still nothing does not. When I click to open it, a minimized screen appears with two 'new tab' button located in the upper part and the start of firefox tab page (3rd from the left).

This hangs there for a few moments, then I get firefox crashed and had to close the message. What happened today at least a dozen times. It worked perfectly until this last updated and I had to download Google Chrome
just to get in line... and it sucks. I really want to come back on Firefox... Please help. I tried to attach images/screen-dumpsters and file errors, but they do not load upward.

    Thank you.

Firefox does not work at all... ?

Sorry to hear about the accident. If you get the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox could have registered some data that would help to find the cause of the problem. You can submit these data to Mozilla and share with the volunteers of the forum to see if it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox blocks - ask for help" to get the procedure to get these crash report IDs since the topic: block the page and then after the most recent here.

Note: If Firefox is not stable enough to use the subject: page crashes, the article also describes how to check for submitted crash IDs disk report.

Also, and/or at the same time, could test you mode without failure of Firefox? Which temporarily disables extensions, hardware acceleration, and a few more advanced features of Firefox that could make it more prone to crashing on some systems.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

Everytime I open Firefox I get a message: "an attempt to change your home page has been blocked" and firefox crashes.
I unintalled (on my MAC) and reinstalled twice. Makes no difference. Any suggestions?

Could you try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the option key when starting Firefox.

    Any improvement?

While you are in Mode without failure, you could copy a list of your extensions and paste them into an answer? The best place for this is the support information page - either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

Scroll down to the Extensions section, and then select from there until the end of the following table with the mouse and copy. Then paste into a response. It may seem a bit messy but don't worry, we're used to it.

In addition, if you check your homepage settings, he changed? This article explains where to find that page preferences: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

  • Firefox crashes at the start even in safe mode

Firefox crashes and makes internet Explorer and also chromium at startup. Chrome works however after reintallation, but may break after a reboot.
It was produced after an update of the anti-virus (avast and avg) both demanded a restart of the computer.
I turned off the antivirus and reinstalled the browser (latest version), but it still crashes.

I think I solved the problem!

It seems to be the new version of "protection avg: zen ', it is to play with all web browsers, is not search for viruses, closes the network connection and not to repair...
So I removed it and everything seems to work normally...

Should have known that avg was problem since all the headaches began after its update.

    Thanks for all the help!
