Firefox crashed 45 times in 24 hours.
I work to a new installation of Windows. also new video card, processor, hard drive. The night last Firefox broke every five minutes. He crashed once before that I put on my addons and several times after (somewhere around 30 times). I tried to go back to an older version of Firefox and crashed as well. It will be either crash at startup, or it will open my tabs and then stop.
Here is the information that might be useful: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-864db5b8-b866-4d20-9f60-913862150406
I ran Firefox reset to get rid of my modules, but they were:
Extensions: Adblock more 2.6.9 Amazon Smile 1Configuration for Firefox, Norton Toolbar 2014.7.12.7, reddit improvement suite 4.5.4, abd [fvd] 6.6.7 speed dial.
Topic: Fractal Frost
Plugins: OpenH264 Video by Cisco 1.3 (always activate); Shockwave flash 13.0.0.277 (always); NVIDIA 3d vision 7.17.13.4788 (ask to activate) - 2 of them, a Vision and a Vision streaming; and WildTangent Games (never turn).
It crashed at least 3 times since I have reset Firefox.
I appreciate the responses. The same day I posted that, Norton started throwing errors also. We uninstalled and reinstalled, but it seemed he had several things wrong so we ended up wiping the hard drive again. I have not tried to download new Firefox again because Norton still gave me errors. I appreciate this help. It is not really resolved, but I don't want that people feel that need to enter and continue to try to understand. I still don't know what happened.

Could you launch Firefox in its Safe Mode and disable the use of Firefox hardware acceleration of graphics. This circumvents incompatibilities with different graphics card drivers.
To start Firefox in Safe Mode, hold down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox.
In the small dialog box that should appear, click 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)
Hardware acceleration is automatically disabled in Mode without failure. To turn it off in normal mode, open:
the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced
In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.
When you restart Firefox normally, this should take effect. Any improvement?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe or make changes.
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In the Firefox Safe mode, these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled
- the default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
- the layout of the default toolbar is used (localstore - safe.rdf)
- the JIT Javascript compiler is disabled
- hardware acceleration is disabled
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
If it is not caused by an acceleration of material or extension, then try disabling the JIT compiler.
Try disabling the JIT ionmonkey compiler by defining these jit false prefs on the topic: config page (search: jit) to see if that helps.

Firefox crashing several times per day
Sometimes, when I am trying to load a page (no matter if I just navigate in a Web site, opening a new tab/window, or by train to load a Web site for the first time) firefox will crash just completely. Here's my last five accidents reports:

BP-706b07bf-62bc-45F2-B712-863cb2130218 18/02/2013 16:44I tried to disable the hardware accelerator thing, but there was no change. This has happened for at least 3 weeks now, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated because at this rate, I'll have to switch to Chrome to save my sanity. I don't really like chrome, but at least chrome does not crash all the time on me.
Until I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled, I double checked my modules and programs and found "Good companion" as an add-on and a program. I looked and it's apparently malware, so I uninstalled. Since then, Firefox broke down and it's been three days that I got rid of him. Before, Firefox broke several times a day.

Firefox crashes. I think that Facebook is still running. I tried in safe mode and with all plugins disabled but it keeps crashing randomly. A few days without accidents at all. A few days three crashes in one minute.
This seems to have solved the problem:
Repair of TCP/IP stack for use with Vista or 7 options.
Start - all programs - accessories and do right click on command prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.
Restore the default install WINSOCK entries: netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv4 default installation. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv6 default installation. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
Reboot the computer.

Hello, unfortunately this seems to be an accident that made his appearance in firefox 19 Windows 8 with AMD Radeon HD 6XXX/7XXX graphics cards - developers are studying the causes of it...
the best solution is probably to get back to the old version at the moment until it gets sorted: install an older version of Firefox

Firefox crashes several times - fees install on Windows 10
I received a new computer with Windows 10 and installed Firefox 40.0.2. Even with this new facility, I have known many frustrating crashes.
I can always trigger an accident trying to inspect an element or when trying to install Firebug.
To solve the problem, I tried:
-ensuring that Adobe Flash/Shockwave is disabled
-disable the NoScript add-on
-opening of Firefox with a new profile, fresh (even if I did not import a profile from my old Windows 7 machine so the profile should already have enough 'fresh')Here is my error for the last 1/2 hour reports:

Firefox crashes every time I try and open
After using Firefox on my laptop for years free problem a few days ago, he started crashing everytime I tried to open it, the web page opens for about a second then crashes and I get the dialog box crash report that what happens in safe mode as well. I don't have time to do any changes on my page of browser as it crashes in less than a second. I uninsalled and reinstall Firefox 3.68 and just downloaded the beta 4 to see if that would work, but same problem of . IE works very well and from there tried to charge dozens of websites on firefox that firefox is my default browser. As I said the site doesn't loads no problem but crashes instantly. Very grateful for any help
Verification of the accident report and the associated bug report, this may be due an index damaged in the database file that stores bookmarks. To test this situation, you can force Firefox to create a new bookmark file, and in the process, it has to import your bookmarks from a backup file.
First, you will need to find your profile folder, follow the instructions to search for a profile in Firefox 3.5 article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data .
Once in the places.sqlite profile folder and rename it to places.sqlite.old, then try to start Firefox. It should create a new places.sqlite file and import your bookmarks from the last backup file. This should hopefully solve your problem.

V40.0.3 Firefox crashes every time you start from the top.
Road, passes this week, have been using Firefox for 18 months without any problem. Upgrade to 40.0.3 seems to be a problem. I change the theme on 40.0.3 of loading, but returned immediately after classic theme. It seems that, since then, I had the problem, but I've also updated Java recently too.
I added the id of the accident according to the submitted incident reports
The apparent cause of this accident is an application called Websense end point. Disable this program or add-on [if it is installed in Firefox] and see if the crash stops.
See Websense for support.

I do not see the plugin container in the task manager of Windows since the last update of Firefox and now FF freezes several times per day (since the previous update, before yesterday). It takes several minutes after that I see this until it thaws, and it is faster the "end task" and restart Firefox to wait. This most often seems to happen when the computer has been idle for a certain time, rather than when I use it.
Be sure to let the process of plugin-container in the firewall.
