Firefox does not save the tabs after the upgrade of Microsoft Silverlight.

A Web site that I visited recently demanded that I update to the latest version of Silverlight. I did it, and Firefox said it had to be restarted. When I restarted Firefox, even if she asked me to save my tabs this initial reboot, my tabs have not been saved. Now, every time I close Firefox, the warning that I am about to close x number of tabs appears, and there is no option to save my tabs. Clearly, the Silverlight upgrade has been the cause of this error, but how to re - activate the option to save the tabs?

You can check the startup parameter:

Tools > Options > general > startup: startup of Firefox:

Show my windows and tabs from last time

Show my home page

In Firefox 3.5 and later "form and search history" entries expire just like the "regular" browser history

The pref browser.history_expire_days determines the expiration of items of history and also data form and the research of the effects.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.history_expire_days (180) (also affects saved form data)

Make sure that you do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear "form & search history".

  • Why Firefox does not save the .mht on Windows files?

.mht, and .mhtml files are not saved when Firefox is installed.

By default Firefox do render MHT or MHTML, so it is not all the registry strings or file associations defined by the installer of Firefox. You should be able to fix these file associations in the control panel.

There is also the UnMHT add-on for Firefox.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/UnMHT/

5 or 6 years ago, when I tested both MAF and UnMHT, I found UnMHT to be a better addition thanks to its production more precise files MHT - displayed in IE8 better than files saved by MAF, right here.

  • Firefox does not display the changes on the site after the remote host; Refresh does not work

I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine, and since it has been wiped off I installed CS5, reconfigured my Dreamweaver site and made changes to our page index.html (so far).  After you put the files on my remote server, I noticed that Firefox does not display the changes I made to this file - it is to show the page previously recorded on my CS4 version.  Thinking it was a cache problem, I emptied, refreshed/reloaded several times, restarted Firefox - nothing has worked.

I checked the page in IE8 and all changes are not displayed correctly.  I used BrowserLab to display a preview in IE, Firefox (same version 3.6 which I use) and Safari, and all 3 display correctly version update of the page.  Visualization in 'live' of Firefox seems to be the problem, and I've looked everywhere for answers. Help is needed and appreciated!

It is possible that you redefined the site incorrectly and put the files to the wrong address on the server. Carefully check both your local and remote sites definitions.

  • 26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it loads the previous session (and that includes all tabs). It does not matter how Firefox is closed.

26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it load the previous session, regardless of what has been entered in 'Options '. The browser runs in Win 7.0 64 bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides security features. There are some solutions 'cloud', also running as Google Drive, box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves in the same way in all my machines (installation and the OS is similar to that described above) and no amount of reset 'Options' seems to affect it. Nor is it affected by the way that Firefox is closed. This is obviously a bug that should be fixed.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

It does not fit my screen by about 1/4 "on the sides and bottom, and the top is not complete as if it was - the office's bleeding through in empty space up there. Help, please! Thanks, Qz

Do you hear the names and passwords in the password manager or do you mean that you are connected is no longer on to (remember to) Web sites after the closing and restarting Firefox?

There is a difference between remembering the name and the password in the password manager and a check box "remember me" on a web page.

The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and which is sent to the server.

If that "remember me" cookie is deleted or is corrupted or is not send to the server, then the server remember that you and you must connect once again.

  • CSS style for the display text (does not save the State)

    Hello

I just upgraded from APEX to APEX 3.1 3.0 and display text (does not save the State) which I had set to display more by adding style = "color: #658bb1;" font-size: 25; "the field of HTML table attributes for the element.

Since the upgrade, that has been lacking in the font size of the body (12 PT) and I can't seem to be larger.

I tried to use attribute selectors - span [class = display_only] {color: #658bb1; font-size: 25px;}, but this only works in Firefox.

    Can anyone help please.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Graham,

I can't see your post exactly what you did!

I tried your style here: [http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=33642:176] and it seems to work ok in IE and FF

As part of header HTML of my page, I add:

    <style type="text/css">
