Firefox does not trust, a particular secure Web site I know is course trust but other secure Web sites

Firefox does not trust, a specific secure Web site I know is safe, but there is no trust other Web sites secure. In addition, Internet Explorer trusted this website and Firefox on another computer trusts of the same site. When I try to connect Firefox tells me it doesn't have a valid certificate (even though I know there is one) and I have to make an exception for you connect. Is it possible that I can fix this and get the appropriate in this particular program of Firefox certificate?

Be sure to select "All Files" and not "text files" type when you save the file in Notepad (text files add a hidden .txt file extension).

  • Firefox does not display the changes on the site after the remote host; Refresh does not work

I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine, and since it has been wiped off I installed CS5, reconfigured my Dreamweaver site and made changes to our page index.html (so far).  After you put the files on my remote server, I noticed that Firefox does not display the changes I made to this file - it is to show the page previously recorded on my CS4 version.  Thinking it was a cache problem, I emptied, refreshed/reloaded several times, restarted Firefox - nothing has worked.

I checked the page in IE8 and all changes are not displayed correctly.  I used BrowserLab to display a preview in IE, Firefox (same version 3.6 which I use) and Safari, and all 3 display correctly version update of the page.  Visualization in 'live' of Firefox seems to be the problem, and I've looked everywhere for answers. Help is needed and appreciated!

It is possible that you redefined the site incorrectly and put the files to the wrong address on the server. Carefully check both your local and remote sites definitions.

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.

    Hello REEVREDNAV,
Encrypted SSLv3 connections can be is no longer as secure as a vector of attack against them ('POODLE') became known. Contact the responsible webmaster of the site and encourage them to upgrade their encryption to something contemporary.

If you want to re-enable ssl 3.0 in firefox, you can do that - but remember the consequences, you will become vulnerable to the aforementioned attack: enter about: config in the firefox address bar (confirm the message information where it appears) & search preference named security.tls.version.min. Double-click it, change its value to 0 and restart the browser.

  • Firefox does NOT start, the removal and resettlement will start as the last step, but once Firefox is closed, it does NOT restart.

Both browsers (Firefox 21 & IE) installed on my Widows XP 64-bit office refuse to start or click the icon on the desktop, the start menu bar or the executable files themselves. What happens is that all the icons disappear from the screen for 15-30 seconds, then the icons appear on the screen, and the last information message displayed from the system tray at the beginning upward is repeated.

Firefox deleting and reinstalling will start the browser as the last step, but when the new copy is closed, it will not start. Also just restart the download installation without removing Firefox will be 'Upgrade' and start in last step, but when the new copy is closed, it cannot be restarted. Restore running on the new copy has apparent effect on the ultimate inability to restart after closing.

  • Firefox does not delete browsing history in the address bar

No matter what you with Firefox in clearing the browser history by going to the history-> delete history, recent and all delete or reset FF by accessing information from troubleshooting, Firefox does not browsing history. The Web site you have traveled still appear in the address bar.

Several people have already complained about this (see thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/939028) and the response from the staff of Firefox is that it is be a malware. That's not true, I've seen versions of Firefox in own computers Windows and Mac with Firefox, do the same thing, or rather not do what it is supposed to do: clean browsing history.

How dangerous is that. Where your privacy? Firefox must find a way to fix this glitch. Something tells me they do it on purpose because it has not been fixed after him complains.

  • Firefox does not connect to any Web site, but other browsers will.

When I get something in the URL- google.com, localhost, http://127.0.0.1/ one bar the IP address, there is a fraction of a second flash, then the bar becomes empty and nothing has changed. It seems that Firefox is not even try to connect to the internet.

Yesterday, everything was fine when I was running FF on Windows 7. After the upgrade to Windows Pro 8, Firefox has failed. I've updated for Windows 8.1, hoping for the best, but it's the same problem.

I've walked by the firewall program, several times (the only race is the built-in Windows Firewall). Finally, I uninstalled Firefox, including all my settings, custom and reinstalled from scratch, twice. And even this version pure and clean Firefox does not connect to the internet.

I am a computer web developer and would be happy to look at the log files or run a tool (Fiddler?) to see what happens at a low level, if I only knew where to look.

john99, thanks for the links. I went through all (again), one by one. The last link kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic showed me what helped. I've renamed "firefox.exe" to "firefox1.exe" and was able to use firefox.

It made me suspect the firewall or malicious software. I ran a Malwarebytes full scan, zero problems detected. I have pored on the entries of windows firewall, the "Windows Firewall with advanced security" view and also the simple control panel view. The only mention of Firefox is that I continue to add and remove to allow firefox through.

Here I knew what was going on, but for now, I can at least use firefox. How frustrating!

    Hey groveman21,

Have you looked at the section of the Base names of users and passwords are not saved ? There are lots of good information in there.

If it's only a particular site, you experience problems with, you can also delete cookies from this site in order to make the site you not forget if you have created a remember me cookie by visiting to Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" that there could be a "don't remember" cookie for this site.
