Firefox does not write links after update to version 32

I've just updated to Firefox 32. When I FF open but hidden in my Dock on my Mac 10.6.8 he won't open links to my e-mail in Outlook for Mac 2011. What it will do is show Firefox on my dock. Once FF is visible and I click on the same link in my email, it will open a new tab to this web page. If FF is completely closed and I click on a link in an email it will launch FF and open the web page. Only when the FF is already open but "hidden" in my Dock it will not open a new tab with the web page when I click on an e-mail link. I didn't have this problem before the update.

FYI, Firefox is my default browser. I opened Safari and have listed as my browser default FF too. When I did the update, I made a new download and install.

  • Firefox does not correctly close after use with Thunderbird, is at the end of the task with the Manager tasks

After clicking on a link in Thunderbird e-mail, Firefox opens the first time, but after the closure, I am unable to open it again, as it says that Firefox still works even if it isn't. The process runs as indicated by the Task Manager again and I at the end of task to reload Firefox.

Have reinstalled several times, but no glance. So far, it seems to happen after the opening of Firefox via Thunderbird.

Any help to solve this problem would be great because I don't want to resort to the use of IE

Yes, this sounds like Bug 1005487. Comment 36, it is said that the bug is not reproducible on the latest beta version. Other users have reported that the problem has been fixed in Firefox 30 beta8. You can go ahead and download the latest beta version to see if the problem stops there. I'd like to hear if it is resolved.

  • Laptop HP Pavilion 2320DX g4: computer hp laptop pavilion g4 does not start successfully after update and return to windows 8.1

Hi, I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. He had so many problems and I didn't like it at all, so I just returned my laptop to Windows 8.1.  Since then, my laptop does not correctly every time, and the fan immediately starts to work as well. I can start my pc and connect to my home screen each time.  If the tile is moving or light up when I move my cursor, then I know that I can use my laptop for a little while. It can freeze after getting out a good program. Other times when I start my laptop, everything is dead except for logging on my screen. My Windows key on the keyboard does not work most of the time.  If the screen does not respond the first time I turn, as described above, I can't absolutely nothing on my pc. I can't access the search bar by moving the cursor to top right, I can't open the tiles, I can't spend in desktop mode, etc.  Front I upgraded to Windows 10 and downgraded to 8.1 all worked perfectly, because I've updated from 8.0 to 8.1 Windows almost 2 years.  I have a defective battery. in fact I can only use my laptop if it is plugged. My fan is constantly going, but I don't know if it's my loss of battery or what's wrong with my pc now.  I have described my problem in the Microsoft community forum but have had little response that was not helpful. I was told to go to the command prompt and put in DISM: scan now (which also contained letters more than that, but I do not remember all). I followed the instructions and for 2 days, my pc seems to do better. Then he returned to this problem again. I hope you can help me.  If you have additional questions, post here or please email me at [removed personal information]. Thank you!

    @DWESTDEWITT,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum.  What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If this fails to solve the problem.  The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

I tried their utmost to address this issue myself. Nothing helps. Installation, reinstall, upgrade... (even disabling all add-ons)... .my Firefox still believes that it has not been updated since v 3.5.5 (though about Firefox accurate the version to be 9.0.1). Here is the proof of the problem:

  • LaserJet M1132: LaserJet M1132 deleted and could not be installed after update latest version 10 of Windows!

3 days ago 10 Windows installed in my computer suddenly updated. After the update and reboot my PC, Wndows 10 deleted my laserjet m1132 system completely! And now I can't install it again, cause Windows 10 says that my printer driver is 'suspect' and it will be disabled instalation! Auto-detection of the companions of the local HPSupport site do see no printer connected to my PC completely! And PC does not say that all the new devices were connected. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Hey @fliperUA,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I see that your Laserjet M1132 will not be installed on your PC Windows 10. I can help with that.

To install the drivers, we will do the following:

    1. If you have the USB cable connecting the printer to your computer, then remove it.
    2. Uninstall all the software your system associated with the printer.
    3. Disable all firewalls, antivirus, ad-blockers and similar programs on your PC.
    4. Download the latest drivers for your printer by clicking on this link.
    5. If the installer asks you to insert the USB cable then plug the cable at the time.

This should allow you to install the drivers for your printer. If it does not then please let me know what error messages you see now and I should be able to help more.

I hope this helps and I hope you have a great week!

  • Infinite scroll does not work since the update to version 35.0.1

Since the last update to version 35.0.1, infinite scrolling (on Yahoo Answers in particular) has not worked. This seems to be a problem with Firefox, because it still work if I use the Internet Explorer browser. Some of my others preferring the settings been dirtied with during the automatic update (tabs and recorded history) I have to wonder if it is a real bug, or just a setting that has changed during the update. Whatever the reason, it is not a setting I changed, and it's frustrating. Help, please.

Some sites like Google images automatically load additional content if you scroll the page.
Note that extensions can also add such a feature on some websites.

You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Firefox does not open links from thunderbird link

I get a message that firefox is already open but not answer, I have to close and Open firefox and it works only once. If I copy / paste link from thunderbird he opens it.

I don't know, but it may have started when I got a update "tab mix more... I remember even having label mix more? Unless it came with firefox.

You need to open an instance of Firefox without using the - No.-remote command line switch and don't use this switch to open additional instances of Firefox.
Then you can open a link in an external application using this first instance of Firefox which started without - No.-remote.

  • 29RC1 Firefox does not start when the update service enabled.

W8.1 update 1 running. I installed FF29RC1 that works without problem, however when I close FF I can't repeat it because it says its already running. When I stop the service of FF in the Task Manager, turn off the update in the FF options, it works wihthout no problem and I can start FF whenever I want without any problem.

29,0 Firefox has been released, so no need to install a release candidate.

You can find the full version of the current version of Firefox 29,0 in all languages and for all systems operating here:

Have you checked in the system monitor if there is still a running Firefox process?

Did you install Firefox in your user account (~ or/Home / < user >) or in a place that requires root for write access privileges?

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63408.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When he finished, restart the computer again and let windows to load completely for a few minutes before checking it in.

    Kind regards

  • Windows 7 Ultimate does not show wallpaper after update in Vista Business

I did the upgrade from Vista business to Windows 7 Ultimate and cannot make a wallpaper of work. I can select only solid colors, but not images or slideshows. I googled for similar problems and it seems people offer various solutions, including through 0 to some attributes of registry related to Active Desktop under HKLM or HKCU Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / policies... And also checking / unchecking a few boxes that appear under easy access control panel, but nothing seemed to help. So I'm a bit lost and it's pretty depressing always focus on the black background, knowing tones of beautiful images are waiting for show it :(
Can anyone suggest what can be done in this case? New - only full office colors can be changed at this point...

I finally thought to myself... I don't know which two actions helped, but here's what I did:

    1. I made an order of setwallpaper default under various graphic files pointing to Windows Photo Viewer CLSID extensions (before they were pointing to a different CLSID, which I believe was Office Fax Viewer - {ff609cc7-d34d-4049-a1aa-2293517ffcc6}). Here's how I did it:

    -In RegEdit, I searched "wallpaper" and under HKCR\SystemFileAssociations, he found several extensions (.bmp, .jpg, etc) where I swapped the value for a key 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.bmp\Shell\setdesktopwallpaper\Command\DelegateExecute' of {ff609cc7-d34d-4049-a1aa-2293517ffcc6} to {FFE2A43C-56B9-4bf5-9A79-CC6D4285608A}

    - Then he found similar key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - their values were already set to {FFE2A43C-56B9-4bf5-9A79-CC6D4285608A}, but it won't hurt to check

2 then I removed the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper". This key has an empty value - so I assumed that there is not much use and then shortly after I did it I got my wallpaper of the theme chosen.
