  About two days ago, I noticed that when I tried to access some websites using Firefox, I always got this error message. "The connection was reset". Initially, I thought it was a problem with my ISP before noticing that the network was fine on my phone and the iPad.   Basically, the only site that works right now on my Firefox browser is Google but if I do a Google search and then click on any link that appears so I get the same error message, "the connection was reset". I can also connect to my gmail account, but I can't access any other Web site including Feedly, Tumblr, Twitter, Yahoo, Wordpress, Blogspot, even though they work fine on my other browser.

  I have cleared my cache and cookies, wiped out all browsing history, but the problem persists then I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and reinstalled. The problem is still there. I'm not sure what the problem is here, but any solution will be appreciated. I have used Firefox for years and I'm really not comfortable using a different browser.

• HP ENVY Phoenix 810-430qe: Pheonix qe810 Office falls down when entering standby or hibernation.

  I got my office 810, 2 months ago.  It was working properly when I first got the computer.  After about 3 days, I discovered that the computer would be turned off when I tried to use it in the morning.  I updated all my drivers software and played with the settings for sleep mode.  I decoded the log to dump product in the crash - the only thing that it points to, is that an unknown driver is broken down.  This is a common problem - does anyone have an alternative potental to this question.  Any help appreciated.

  I have problems with my installation of Photoshop CS6 extended 13.0. I have a large collection of fonts (more than 9000 - no joke) and Photoshop slows down bad whenever I do something that requires the use of the fonts/typing/text handling. I tried to disable the font previews. Photoshop is still too slow. I found a related thread and have additional questions about my situation:

  • Is there a way to mitigate the slowdown in Photoshop when something related to fonts?
  • Will be updated to the latest version of CS6 help? I should even try to update?
  • I have to reduce the number of fonts activated? If so, what is a good number to aim for?
  • Any advice on the management of fonts? The thread mentions Typekit - I do not have a full subscription to CC. Other tools of management of good police (preferably free) that you can recommend?

  9000 fonts?  How many people have you used last year?

  Not really sure what to tell you. Using a lot of fonts is a serious drain on system resources.  How long does Photoshop take to open?  Some time I think.

  TypeKit used to be a wonderful resource, but it has become very limited, if you only plan to photograph, and it would do precisely nothing to the management of your 9000 fonts.  Not a garbage.

  Hmmm this error is known to me, but unfortunately it is not easy to tell what's exactly wrong or what causes this problem.

  Sometimes this BSOD could be linked to the issue of driver/software, but the last time I received this message on my 5 year old laptop and finally I discovered that one of my modules of memory was defective!

  However, this laptop was equipped with two GPU chips then perhaps there could be something wrong who knows?  :|

  But it s very strange that in this case using the HDMI port to my knowledge only this satellite X 200 series are supported by a standard HDMI V1.2 (up to 1080i).
  Did you use the right cable?

  As you can see an investigation is necessary to locate the cause of the error.

  If there is something wrong with the hardware I would recommend contacting the ASP in your country in order to clarify this strange issue.

  Since you are not able to access Safe Mode or perform a system repair, you will need to use your system recovery discs or Windows installation disc to reinstall Windows.

  Please note that if you use a recovery disk, the contents of hard disks is cleared if you need to connect the drive to a working computer down all the files you need.
