• When I import bookmarks bookmarks do not appear when I click on bookmarks. I get another menu rather forcing me to click on three or four times more.

  When I import bookmarks I don't see them when I click on the Bookmarks tab. I see quite a menu. The menu consists of:

  To get to my favorites, I have to click on bookmarks, click unsorted bookmarks, and then click another file before I see the bookmarks.

  Personally, I prefer to use cut and paste in this situation to ensure that bookmarks do in the right folder.

  You can move the bookmark on the unsorted folder and move (cut and paste) the folder of bookmarks menu or toolbar folder bookmarks if you want them to appear this toolbar.

  The main window of Firefox has sometimes "off screen" somehow. You can often force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image floating above the taskbar and choosing expand them. Does it work?

  A possible cause for this is when the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt. You can delete this file and Firefox will return to the standard window size/position.

  Firefox uses a vertical bar ("|") in order to separate several home pages.
  You can check the setting of the home page to see if the subject: preferences page is included among the home pages (| subject: preferences #general).

  This can happen if you click on "use current page (s) ' to set the home page and about: preferences is open in a tab.
  You can pin the tab with the subject: the preferences page through the context menu of the tab to avoid including: preferences for layout home page if you want to use this button in "Options/Preferences > general".
