Firefox forget the popup allowed sites

I continue to add sites to its list in the menu under options popup blocker. I can confirm the site are added and allowed the popups after that I have add URLS to the list of exceptions.
When I close Firefox and reopen it, his list is a party. I have to start from zero and re - fill my allowed list. I'm under 11.0 and I believe that the problem started in 10.0

How can I get FF to remember my pop ups allowed?

  • If I download Firefox from the Mozilla Web site, how Yahoo is involved?

I don't know why, but people think downloading firefox from mozilla.org you will get the version of Yahoo or Yahoo has somehow bought Mozilla. You now have partnerships with Google, Yahoo and Bing search, but if people want the original rather than the Yahoo version Firefox, they should know that they can still come to rather than get you it from Yahoo. I've seen a lot of spam from Yahoo servers so personally, I don't use Yahoo and don't trust that download of Firefox that Yahoo is actually a safe download. Yahoo has created its own custom Firefox because Microsoft do not let them create a custom Internet Explorer more. That's the only reason. I think that you should insist that Yahoo do much more to increase its security, and you should get the message that Firefox is still available in its original form on the Mozilla site and that has nothing to do with Yahoo.

  • Install Firefox on the official Mozilla site installs Yandex side of it.

If I download the installer of this site, it installs Yandex.ru s * next to it. The thing is not on my PC, I found a thousand of searches on Google about removing it and I did it, but something is wrong with my Firefox browser now and to resolve this - I have to re - install, but average then the installer will also install Yandex on my computer. It is not on my computer, it is in the installer, I have no malware Yandex or anything - I it completely eliminated through various tutorials, but if I use the installer of Firefox, I'll get Yandex installed alongside it (he shows even the progression for Yandex specifically in one of the steps of the official Installer).

What can I do to stop this, where can I get a good installer where you guys do not add this horrible Russian oxen I do not want to have on my computer (it is a legitimate search engine, but for me it is comparable to the malware - it is difficult to remove, it installs on all browsers, it's in RUSSIAN, there is no uninstall tool).

  • How to deploy the blocker allowed parameters of sites on multiple computers?

We run on Win 7 platform with ESR Firefox version 31.4.0. We want to disable the blocker for popups for specific sites. I tried to use FirefoxADM_0.5.9.4 to apply the Group Policy settings, but it does not work. When I look at the file firefox_login.vbs, there is a line mentioning registry parameter FirefoxPopupsWhitelistKey = WshShell.regread("HKCU\Software\Policies\Firefox\FirefoxPopupWhitelist") but I can not find this key on the computer.

Is that what anyone has experience deploy this type of settings? If this isn't the case, I'm also open to hearing about how to disable the blocker for popups completely.

If this can be done via Group Policy, please let me know another way I can do this. I read the topic: configuration config, but I found all the settings to disable the context menu.

    Thanks for your help.

Firefox saves all exceptions to the permissions.sqlite file, so you need to use a SQLite Manager extension or program to modify this database.

Disable the popup blocker in Firefox would be easier, as it would need only to switch a pref and can be done via a mozilla.cfg file.

You can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify new values (default).

Put a local file - settings.js in the folder defaults\pref also the file prefs.js - channel where to specify using mozilla.cfg.

    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0);

These functions can be used in the mozilla.cfg file:

defaultPref();	// set new default value
pref(); // set pref, allow changes in current session
lockPref();	// lock pref, disallow changes

Paste (without the quotes) "subject: preferences #content" in the url bar and press ENTER
Click on the "Exceptions" button... »
type/paste the address of the page, click on leave and then save the changes.

    reload the page

  • How can I block a site to be seen in Firefox? Internet Explorer allows a list of sites that are blocked for each category of site (Internet, confidence, etc.).

I want to be able to block a site to be seen in Firefox. Internet Explorer allows a list of blocked sites in each of the categories - for example Internet, confidence, etc. It contains a generic function. How can I do this in Firefox?

A more direct way to submit a feature suggestion is:

Help menu > submit your comments

However, in the early days the community add-on provided extensions such as NoScript and AdBlock Plus to build these features and refine their feedback from users. Unless there is a good reason to integrate these features into the core of the product, I don't think it will be a priority for the developers.

  • First of a sudded, my firefox browser is not allowing my to click links and open pages, or open anything on the upper part of the screen.

First of a sudded, my firefox browser is not allowing my to click links and open pages, or open anything on the upper part of the screen. For example, I go to my email and I can't click on the Inbox, send, create folders, mark as unread. It's like this on all websites? Its really annoying I can't do anything because most of the sites have login at the top of the screen and I can't connect to anything.

This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

You can keep an eye on this thread:

  • The security certificate for a toolbar in Firefox, I installed has expired. The error code in the popup is 'sec_error_expired_certificate '.

When the pop-up appears you have two choices: 'View certificate' and 'Cancel '. 'View' allows you to see the certificate expired (not very useful). 'Cancel' makes the popup go away and then returns immediately. It is not possible try to go into the settings. Essentially, this made unnecessary FireFox. The only way to close the program is via the Task Manager

I can't say what version of FireFox that I use, but an update has been installed recently. The pop up window error is called "secure connection failed".

You can try to start Firefox in Mode safe. Here is a description:
    http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/safe%20Mode

Looks like you won't be able to use the shortcut in the menu, but you should be able to use the command line option to start in safe mode ("firefox-safe-mode" at the command prompt).

The problem is usually related to your firewall not allowing access to an unknown program; the new version of Firefox is not your firewall, although the old version. Remove references to firefox.exe in the list of programs in your firewall, then start Firefox, let the firewall re - detect Firefox and give it permissions to access the internet.

  • Firefox doesn't load the URLS of sites window, but will charge by search engine

Firefox will not load any site that I type in the URL window. It loads any location of the tile to start or Google search results page. But never directly.

The problem started a week ago.

The problem persists in safe mode. I have a few extensions and plug-ins (No Add ons) but I have not installed new in the last year.

I uninstalled it and installed a clean place. I did a refresh. Hardware accelerator is disabled. The only thing I have not tried is to create a new profile.

    I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64 (although Mozilla is x 86).

My security system is provided by Zone Alarm, but it has been the case for at least five years and never had a problem before.

    Any suggestions?

The most likely cause is a bug in Firefox that has not yet been set.
You need to rename a particular profile data file. Your browsing history will be lost, but the browser working again. It is hoped that there will be a better fix in Firefox itself soon.

Suddenly, about 3 days ago whenever I click a shortcut on the desktop to a Web site, firefox opens a google home page. the only way I can use firefox to access websites is to type a url into the address bar on the google page. all my desktop shortcuts open up to the google home page.
major problem is that desktop shortcuts show url until firefox opens the Web page.
