Firefox has become very slow. It takes a lot of time to load any website. I reinstalled FF but the rest of the problem.
As a test, I downloaded Chrome and it is much faster.
But I love FF and would be very happy if you can help me solve this problem.
When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox. This will remove some of the pieces that might cause problems while it keeps your bookmarks and other important things safe.
Check it out and let me know if it works: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules
I didn't something for my system. I always clear the cache. I ran antivirus/malware and nothing was found. I've tried Chrome and it works very well.
Disable some of these addons and see if that helps.
You can try to launch not not much adblockers simultaneously because they may be conflicting with each other.
You must disable or Adblock Plus BetterPrivacy that above all, they do the same thing and can run on the percentages of CPU.
Since then, yesterday evening firefox is not running at its normal pace. Initially, I thought that the problem comes from my laptop, but then I realized pages are open at normal speed in other browsers. Fireffox, I have to click and wait for the page to load. The page will not be charged unless that and until after clicking on remove the slider away!
Upgrade your browser Firefox 8 and check

When you run the uninstall program, it allows to uninstall all versions of Flash Player.
If you want to revert to an old version after that, get it from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
Yesterday, I used Firefox (recently updated to version 19) and it worked fine.
Today, it freezes completely on any page (google.com, internal reset page, launch,...)
The only thing that seems to have changed during the night is an automatic update of Windows 7 from MicroSoft.
I tried to reset FireFox. = > NET: still exactly as completely slow frozenly
I completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted the... > > Program Files > > directory Mozilla Firefow,.
then I reinstalled FireFox from scratch... = > NET: absolutely no improvement.
What else can I do to remedy the problem of FireFox before I give up and switch to Opera for good?
I had the same problem today on Windows 8
I have disabled all add-ons, but always FF cling on most pages (facebook, gmail, bbc News)
I uninstalled Firefox 19.0.1 then installed Firefox 17.0 upgrade turned 19.0.1 all add-ons back and it works once more.
YouTube getting so boring. The image stops every 2 seconds, and then appears the little loading circle and the sequence continues to be repeated on and on. This has happened since I downloaded firefox7
Sometimes, the audio or video content in a web page can't be properly downloaded and displayed in Firefox. A plugin required may be missing, obsolete, locked in a conflict with another plugin or extension, or the content can be blocked for some reason any. Hope that helps.
I have an iPad mini version 9.02. a few months ago, I downloaded the latest operating system from Apple 8.1 and my iPad became very slow and glitchy especially in the e-mail software... What can I do? Now it asks me to upgrade to iOS 9.1 and I fear that it will be even worse.
Sorry - but what do you mean you have an iPad Mini version 9.02? What are your reference when citing 9.02?
At this point, your best bet is to keep the device up to date. The latest version of iOS is 9.2. It's what you could be upgraded to.
See you soon,.
YOU TUBE QUESTION
Please explain why some clips (on You Tube) that run a few minutes long can take ages (10-15 minutes) to load while others as long are ready for display in a minute or two. My laptop speed is up to 54 Mbps and the intensity of the signal very good to excellent.Thank you very much.Joe
Three possibilities, I see...
(1) your internet connection speed can be much slower
as you thought. Have you checked the connection speed
at the dax1792 site posted online?
(2) you can be located a long way from the server.
(3) there may be a very high on the site or the net traffic
congestion at the peak hours of the day.
As for the different load from one clip to another time...
I can only guess what would be the difference in the way in which the
video has been encoded. Some are of much better quality than
FWIW... my connection speed average somewhere around
20 Mbps and YouTube video clips play instantly for me.
Download the clips to your hard disk and viewing
There may be a solution.
See you soon.

unbearably so for the last few days. Someone else noticed this?
Yes, I see the slowness. I guess that's the fault of Adobe servers, as I see in many forums here, but not to LightroomForums.Net and other non Adobe forums I read.
When I double-click on the icon "Computer" on the desktop, it will sometimes pop open the window with no. Summary and then sat there for 30 seconds with the mouse icon "spinning wheel". How can I tell what he does so that I can make this break disappear?
When you open windows 'computer' questions all your disks (including removable disks) for things like the ability of the HD, icons, and mapped network drives. You probably have some sort of removable media (CDs, for example) or a mapped network drive that is slowing down the voting process. Take all the cd from the computer, disable the mapped network drives and remove external hard drives or computer flash drives and see if you get an acceleration of loading.
How long is it usually a playlist to support? Wait like 5 minutes already and still no game. Is this normal?
A week ago from the internet on my Macbook has become very slow. Web sites load then, but it may take up to five minutes on some occasions, or even longer. This happens systematically 10 seconds to 5 minutes after the connection to the web. At first everything is super fast, then all pages/apps using the internet starts to turn.
- Replaced the modem & router: I bought a new modem-router combo to replace my original separate modem and router, no change in question.
- Tried a third modem/router: a friend gave me his modem router to try and the same issue. (In both cases I had my ISP to update the MAC address)
- Tried other devices: I tried the connectivity to other devices (iphone & ipad) and found no problem. Speedtest app appears 32mbps to the low and 5 Mbps + constantly.
- Tried another browser: was using firefox, I tried Chrome - same question. In addition, any application on my computer using the web runs slowly, no browsers only.
- Tried to connect to the Internet through direct ethernet modem: no improvement
- Tried to restart the computer and the modem/router: it is 7 + times for two days with no change
- Tried to connect to the web via a mobile hotspot on my phone: problem persists.
- Updated my computer and all applications: no change
- I started in safeboot and the problem disappeared

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that the internet is slow on your MacBook Pro. I know how important internet speed can be for many applications and General everyday use. I'm happy to help you.
You did a great job trying to fix this yourself! Given that the problem didn't occur in safemode, our next step is to check your login items. Please follow the instructions below:
Test your login items
Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.
Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.
Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.
Choose the Apple menu > restart.
If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.
If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.
Have a wonderful day!
I recently format my computer and reinstall windows 7, since it was the only way I know of to solve the problem with Firefox (I already had this problem too). I download the latest version of firefox 33.0.2 and install it. This version was super fast. But becomes slow and unresponsive when I tried to install the Add-ons. I visited the official site of firefox and searching for addons, when I tried to install addons, Firefox crashed. Therefore, it has becomes quite slow and cannot restore previous sessions. Even to type my email address, it takes more than 5 minutes and reacts more frequently (after typing each letter).
I want to know if this is due to some viruses, or this version of firefox is not "stable".
We are sorry to hear that Firefox crashes. To better help you, please follow the steps below to provide us with crash IDs to help us learn more about your accident.
- Enter Subject: hangs in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER. A list of submitted Crash reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent report ID begins with bp - and then back to your forum question but that stick in the box of "Post a response. (Please do not take a screenshot of your plant, just copy and paste the ID image below is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)
Once you have done so, you could try the Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
then select restart with disabled modules.
- In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
I hope this helps!
