Firefox incident information

I'm reviewing hangs on https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/products/Firefox . It seems that information crash thread that has been presented is already grouped between the accidents.

Where can I find crash thread which has not already been grouped? What I really want is the crash thread for information in its raw form, dissociated.

Sorry if this is posted in the right place...

Thank you very much

To see the individual crashreports, I type "https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/", followed by the ID of the crashreport (bp-number) in the url bar, for example:

  • If I delete the Firefox profiles folder in Appdata, which would remove all my Firefox personal information such as passwords and browser history?

Sometimes I have to bring my laptop to the computer store, but I always make sure to remove all the programs like Firefox information, just in case.
But I read that Firefox stores all your information in an Appdata folder.
So I was wondering, if I had to move this folder to an external hard drive and remove it from the computer, would all my information from Firefox are deleted from the computer, or is it still going to save this information elsewhere?

And if it removes all the information, if I move the folder that I save on an external hard drive on my computer, Firefox will have access to all this information again?

Firefox will create a new profile folder if you try to open it without having a profile folder

Yes, you could just copy the content and then delete the original content, leaving the record. Then overwrite the content again with the contents of your backup.

    Hi Cor - el
The problem seems to have disappeared with the upgrade to V17.0. It must have been a conflict between my WinXP and V16.0.2 that the problem appeared when the upgrading to V16.0.2 and disappeared with V17.0.
I have not had the problem with Win7 on another machine.

I will mark the problem as solved when I have used Fx for a few days and the problem does nor re-occur.

    Thanks for your help.

  • WHY DID DID YOU DESTROY MY FIREFOX SYNC INFORMATION

I had to use Firefox Sync recently to keep all my passwords saved from my old hard drive to a reformat.

I reformatted and needed to retrieve these passwords for, I went to the options and found NECESSARY THE OLD to GET MY SETTINGS of the DEVICE.

and when I chose the options that I had lost this device IT ERASED ALL MY STORED SETTINGS AND PASSWORDS IN THE FIREFOX SYNC SERVER.

HELL WHAT MOZILLA SERVICE RUNS. YOU HAVE RUINED IT WITH YOUR TERRIBLE AND USELESS SERVICE.

IT IS A TERRIBLE LACK OF CONVENIENCE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE CLEAR UPFRONT ABOUT HOW THIS SERVICE WAS INTENDED TO BE USED. THE FACT THAT THE SERVICE FORCED ME TO COMPLETELY ERASE MY OLD INFORMATION IS INCREDIBLY DISSERVICEABLE AND JUST INCOMPREHENSIBLE THAT HE COULD NOT THERE HAVE A DIRECT WAY TO RECOVER MY DATA STORED.

I solved just a Firefox crashing problem on my system. The problem was that security software Norton had deleted a necessary file. The file is C:/Program Files(x86) /Mozilla Firefox/plugin - container.exe. If this file is not there, you must reinstall Firefox, and then you should be good to go.

  • I saved mybookmark tabs, history, addons, preferences. But after I installed the new copy of Firefox, I am not able 2 synchronize my data in my Firefox. WHT shud - I do?

I had backed up my data (bookmarks, preferences, tabs, history, modules) using Firefox sync. I formatted my PC and install a NEW copy of Firefox. But when I tried to restore the data using sync FF and after connecting successfully, they showed me a notice saying that "Firefox will start to sync temporarily" but my data has not been restored. What should I do to retrieve the data I saved?

Firefox Sync is not a backup service unfortunately. Please consider in the future to save your profile locally before you reformat your computer. Backup and restore Firefox profiles information

  • Recently, when I try to access Firefox I get Windows Media Center (WMC) instead. I want to access my old Firefox bookmarks/favorites.

My problem with Firefox/WMC is related to a user account. So I've set up a new user account, and I can access in Firefox. I wish I could import my bookmarks/favorites Firefox associated with my old user account to my new user account. The instructions I've seen all say to go to the old account from Firefox, but I can't get in. Is there a way to access my old favorites/bookmarks and transfer them to Firefox on my new user account?

There are two, the Profile Manager and the profile folder that the data is stored in. (if you refresh at any time, that data will be in a folder on the desktop called "Old data from Firefox")

Open the folder of a new profile and copy the files from the old to crush are a messy hack as well.

  • In Firefox 39.0, I have a missing folder to store Twitter design parameters (background theme). What is the name of the missing file?

Firefox 39.0 must store parameters for design background Twitter. This unknown file should be here in the help of Firefox, troubleshooting information, profile folder. This who should I name a new folder to save the twitter background design choices?

Sorry, I don't know exactly what you are doing.

If it's an arrangement on Twitter, the site probably will set a cookie and could use the storage offline (but will most likely just use a slightly different page and do not store images locally).

If you plan to replace the background normal Twitter with something different to your own choice, were you plan to use a custom style rule or an add-on of a certain type? The technique has probably determines the location.

  • Can I link my 2 accounts of Firefox?

I have 2 Firefox accounts simply by chance. I had a long date on my computer and then when I got my Android phone I have accidentally created another. I tend to use the first account on my own personal computer but use the second account on my computer of the family, etc. I was hoping I'd be able to synchronize both accounts ergo having all all passwords and all bookmarks, but this doesn't seem to be the case. If I try to log on to another account I get a warning from Firefox asking if I really want to log in with a different account. Can you please help me deal with what warnings someone and how mix is possible? Thank you

    Hi InnovativeRN,
It's just to warn you that you want to synchronize the local data with all other data of the other account. This has caused a few problems for the people.

  • I have I have been refreshing to Firefox and lost all my favorites!

I went through the troubleshooting and monitoring instructions and my favorites are gone. read a few articles about the recovery, but was a bit hesitant to follow through when he said that I had 14 files, when I know I have a lot more.

Find the folder of old data of Firefox on the desktop. Make a copy of it, just in case you get stuck or need to start. But scrupulously every step:

    For just the bookmarks:

  • How can I keep Firefox to open an additional page (default page) every time? I want only to open my home page.

Two tabs always open. default page 1 with my home page and the other with the FF. It is so irritating that I rarely use the Firefox browser even if its faster than IE.

Finally, I deleted all traces of Firefox on my computer, including all the stuff that uninstall has not been deleted. Then I reinstalled from scratch. That seems to work and I get now only a single tab when I open the program.

Note it is generally a last resort solution.
I suggest to all those who wish to follow this solution guarantees that they back up the Firefox profile first. See also:
