Firefox is not rendering/display websites properly.

Today, never had any problems with any site, I realized so far. Every Web page I have vist will not/rendering/display of the load correctly. I have Firefox didn't Age and have not had any problems like this before.

If you use extensions (Tools > Modules > Extension) as NoScript , Adblock Plus or Block Flash that can block content, and then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
  • 'Delete Cookies' of sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

  • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

  • Firefox is not rendered transparent PNG correctly

    I have a web page that offers a PNG with transparency, but Firefox doesn't make properly - it's a little blurry and pixel-y. Both chrome and Opera have made the fine PNG. (It's all in Ubuntu Maverick).

    The image is available at http://mathsci.kaist.ac.kr/~drake/img/poorly-rendered-image.png; , it seems fine in itself, but the background of the web page with this picture is not white, it is (as far as I can tell) #ccc.

    I'm surprised that Chrome and Opera do it properly, but Firefox doesn't. What is going on?

    You can post a link to the page with this picture?

    If I apply a background color (body {background-color: #ccc}) in this image, then this it works for me.

    So I guess that something is wrong with the code.

    Installed 20 FF to do some tests for a site I am building when I came across this problem of cross browser compatibility. It seems as if it is impossible to connect to external style sheets to Web pages (best guess, I don't really know enough to be sure, but with what I know, it's my best guess) it seems that some formatting is to come through, but not all. I don't know what is the cause, but it seems all the pages visited in this browser, Google, Facebook, etc.. They all display fine in chrome. • Firefox manages not to display images much (but not all) on the Web sites that I visit, certain images are displayed and some are not even if they are in the same format.

    I recently changed my ISP because I had connectivity problems. Especially my router would be closed sporadically. As part of my attempt to identify issues, I ran some spyware that I was told that I could trust. Since then, I have a problem looking at many websites as much (but not all) images are missing, even on websites that I know very well, including my own. What is odd, is that on one site each page has an image jpg under the navigation bar and all these jpg appear except for one who does not even appear when I reload images. This problem also makes security of sensitive sites as my amateur full site look Bank that scares me. The problem does not occur on other web browsers.

    What spyware software do you run?

    Make sure that allow you pages to choose their colors and you have not enabled high contrast in the Windows accessibility settings.

    • Check the permissions for the domain in the active tab in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
    • Check that the images are enabled: Tools > Options > content: [X] loading images automatically
    • Check exceptions in "tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions.
    • See the tab "tools > Page Info > media ' for blocked images (scroll all the images with the cursor key).

    If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

    There are also extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and security software (firewall, antivirus) that can block images.

    Try disabling OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in active Firefox.

    You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

    You can check if there is an update for your display driver graphic card and search for hardware acceleration of related issues.

  • BONES of Firefox does not appear correctly. It seems that the CSS and JS are not rendered. Any help would be most appreciated!

    I would have preferred someone show a screenshot of the web pages, but it is not a file attach on this forum. In any case, with only Firefox OS, not my other browsers, web pages didn't properly. For example on Facebook, there is no header or footer. JS is enabled in the browser, and like I said Chrome and Safari are NOT having problems. I'm surmising that the CSS and JS files are somehow not displayed. I can be very wrong, but I would accept with gratitude any help anyone has to offer. Thank you and have a great day!

    Nancy was 100% correct.

    However, to give you a little of a sudden boost, try adding the following inside sections

    UL. MenuBarHorizontal ul li {}

    display: block;

    float: none! important;

    Width: auto;

    white-space: nowrap;

    border-bottom: 1px solid #EEE;

    }

    UL. MenuBarHorizontal ul. {MenuBarSubmenuVisible}

    left: auto;

    }

    This can give you the desired result, but it certainly isn't the perfect solution.
