Firefox is not saving the history, what to do to save the history?
Firefox is not saving history when remember same story is selected and im not not using any cleaning tools.
Only visible history is in the closed tabs recently. So what to do?
By selecting "Use the custom settings for history" is not make changes to the parameters of the story, she can simply check the settings of the story and change individual items.
Are there any visible history in the library (history > view history)?
You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

Firefox is not saving the settings of my history and cookies.
I was going to 'Options' and change my settings "Do not forget the story ever" and then I click 'OK '. When I'll be back in 'Options' in the same window or after closing, it has not changed and is still at the old setting "use the custom settings for history".
Can someone help me address these privacy settings so that they are saved and do not return to old customization?

Why Firefox is not saving my log in info after that I used the option "Remember Me"?
Why Firefox is not saving my log in info after that I used the option "Remember Me"?
Whenever I get on a frequently used site where I have already indicated on the Firefox browser to save my log in info, I still need to manually connect. The latest versions of Firefox are not like that. I am running Firefox on both my Imac (OS 10.5.8) and on my Mac Book Pro (Snow Leopard), and on each machine, the latest version of Firefox does the same thing. I don't have this problem with Safari, but I prefer to use Firefox then please let me know if there is anything I can do to solve this problem. This has happened

Firefox is not automatically a session you.
Many Web sites may use a cookie to remember you, you do not need to open a session.Websites to remember you and automatically log you are stored in a cookie that you must allow: Firefox > Preferences > privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions."
Also make sure that you do not use the delete, search and download Firefox browsing history to erase "Cookies" and the "Site preferences" "browser history". -
26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it load the previous session, regardless of what has been entered in 'Options '. The browser runs in Win 7.0 64 bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides security features. There are some solutions 'cloud', also running as Google Drive, box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves in the same way in all my machines (installation and the OS is similar to that described above) and no amount of reset 'Options' seems to affect it. Nor is it affected by the way that Firefox is closed. This is obviously a bug that should be fixed.
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

Firefox could not download the search plugin from
I installed Firefox 24.0 recently and I am trying to install open www.youtube.com youtube Search Engine by clicking on Add "YouTube Video Search" in the search bar, but I get the following error message:
Download error
Firefox could not download the search plugin from:
http://www.YouTube.com/OpenSearch?locale=en_GBWhat is a Firefox problem, or a youtube error?
Thank you for your response.
I don't want to install addon for youtube search. I just wanted to know if I can install the search engine for youtube as before.
After a few readings on the internet I found that the search engine is described by a small XML file which is available through a link on the page. All other pages with operation generates the search engines like Wikipedia or IMDb content is XML refers to XML file. But the link to youtube opensearch descriptor points to an opensearch.osdx file.
I don't know if it's the extension, or if he did not support tag inside but Firefox is not prepared to handle it and add youtube to search engines.
I found this page: http://www.tobtu.com/customsearch.php I copied the relevant tags in the fields of seizure and added YouTube video Srearch. Now, it works fine.
But the question remains: is it Firefox that can not handle the descriptor of opensearch sandard of youtube or youtube.com which provides a defective descriptor?

Do you hear the names and passwords in the password manager or do you mean that you are connected is no longer on to (remember to) Web sites after the closing and restarting Firefox?
There is a difference between remembering the name and the password in the password manager and a check box "remember me" on a web page.
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and which is sent to the server.
If that "remember me" cookie is deleted or is corrupted or is not send to the server, then the server remember that you and you must connect once again. -

Firefox does not display the changes on the site after the remote host; Refresh does not work
I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine, and since it has been wiped off I installed CS5, reconfigured my Dreamweaver site and made changes to our page index.html (so far). After you put the files on my remote server, I noticed that Firefox does not display the changes I made to this file - it is to show the page previously recorded on my CS4 version. Thinking it was a cache problem, I emptied, refreshed/reloaded several times, restarted Firefox - nothing has worked.
I checked the page in IE8 and all changes are not displayed correctly. I used BrowserLab to display a preview in IE, Firefox (same version 3.6 which I use) and Safari, and all 3 display correctly version update of the page. Visualization in 'live' of Firefox seems to be the problem, and I've looked everywhere for answers. Help is needed and appreciated!
It is possible that you redefined the site incorrectly and put the files to the wrong address on the server. Carefully check both your local and remote sites definitions.

I can navigate backward and forward in a tab, or in the session browser, but as soon as the tab or the session closes it is like all the record is erased from my computer. I don't know if the problem is my computer or firefox, but it doesn't seem to be anything like this mentioned there and I would really appreciate the help.
One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

Firefox does not delete browsing history in the address bar
No matter what you with Firefox in clearing the browser history by going to the history-> delete history, recent and all delete or reset FF by accessing information from troubleshooting, Firefox does not browsing history. The Web site you have traveled still appear in the address bar.
Several people have already complained about this (see thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/939028) and the response from the staff of Firefox is that it is be a malware. That's not true, I've seen versions of Firefox in own computers Windows and Mac with Firefox, do the same thing, or rather not do what it is supposed to do: clean browsing history.
How dangerous is that. Where your privacy? Firefox must find a way to fix this glitch. Something tells me they do it on purpose because it has not been fixed after him complains.

Firefox is not saving my session when I close the browser
I keep my browser set to remember my tabs open when I close Firefox. Since the last update, but I couldn't get there. I checked my preferences and the option to keep the tabs in Firefox closing is always selected. When I go to for closing of Firefox, however, I get the 'you are about to close X tabs' message and all the tabs are forgotten. When I open Firefox again the tabs I had open are all gone. I tried to re-selecting the option 'save my tabs' several times, but he did not a difference in Performance Explorer, even if the settings are still correct when I check again. I'm not sure what to do about this, but it's quite maddening and I would really like to find a solution, best before frustration leads me to find another browser to use.
Use "Firefox > output" (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing by clicking on the X close in the title bar of Firefox.
In the case you use 'clear history of Firefox closing. "

Firefox is not saving my passwords since I updated to the latest version 13.0.1
I tried everything I could find in Firefox articles and discussions, put just updated to 14.0.1 also, but still does not get saved to apply when the connection passwords and do not receive the prompt to save passwords.
I guess that the security settings are correct:
- Tools > Options > Security: passwords: "remember passwords for sites".
Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
