Firefox is up to date, but several sites report that it is not the latest version. What can I do about it?
There are several sites that I connect to (Netflix, Amazon, Hello Firefox, etc.) who are reporting that I use an older version of Firefox. I'm versions 36.0 performer, who reports to be updated. I am at a loss.
Hi, your useragent (information, the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently by mistake - shows, you're on version 3 of firefox.
Please refer to this article to reset the settings of the user agent in firefox: websites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

You are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web!
Above is the message I get on my home page. The upgrade is highlighted today and when I click it I go to the Firefox page, and this page shows that I'm on the latest version. This happened since I updated to this version. I don't remember the date, that I have improved, but I think it was when it was only available. It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I do not think that it is maintained.
From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.

I just started having this extra window that says: "RECOMMENDED updates! It is recommended to install the software to make sure that your browser is the latest version. Please update to continue. "The link says: Rvzr - a.akamaihd.NET. I'm a little reluctant to touch anything because it never happened. In addition, I've doubled checked and my firefox is 28.0 isn't up-to-date. I even re-downloaded firefox to ensure, and I always get the pop-up window.
You're smart to be wary. You can check to see if an unnoticed add-on slipped? In particular, I suggest disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:
- Command + shift + a
- Tools menu > Modules
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.
Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
That get rid of the nagging dialog boxes?

I pay for Adobe photography CC every month. I did the most recent downloads, but my Lightroom said always LR5. I don't understand? This is not the latest version of LR. It also seems that adobe has made it more difficult to speak with a real human CSR.
Since Lightroom 2015 CC is a new product, it will not show as an update to the previous. Click Install next to Lightroom in the creative Application of cloud Manager. If you do not see 'install' by Lightroom in the application manager, please first try to log out and return to: connect and disconnect from the creative cloud desktop application

On 22 September, I received a notification to update to the latest version of Flash (11.4). After you install Firefox (version 14) began to cling hard some of my favorite sites, such as Facebook and DeviantArt. After trying to deal with things, he abandoned and would not answer. After the boot without failure, I disabled the add-on flash, and everything has of worked, except for games requiring flash to play. As soon as I walk back, hanging and no answer came back.
I wasn't able to get to one of these sites without serious questions hanging. I just uninstalled Flash, rebooted, and then reinstalled. Everything seems to work fine now.

Under XP Pro sp3. TextSnap has worked with almost all of the screens presented by Firefox 3.6.12 - what is telling, not pdf - but upgrading to the latest version of Firefox has left Textsnap almost totally disabled. So how is different from the presentation of text/display again Firefox, and is there a workaround?
Thank youHello, cor - El thanks for your response. Unfortunately, she does not - but I have marked your answer 'useful', because even if an idea doesn't work, it is always useful!
Thank you. HRAnd I just saw that your response to mark as 'useful' automatically tag the problem as "resolved" - even if there is another "fact that solves... button". " I'll know next time.

I have no more details to provide. The question that I asked summarizes the problem completely.

Firefox shows that my Adobe Reader software must be updated to version 11.0.84 and when I try to update Adobe Reader, it tells me that I already have.
I also did an update of Firefox and I still have the same problem. I use Windows XP SP3. I don't know what to do. Thank you. Please tell me what I should do next.
