Firefox isn't regonise it's own update

As shown in the attached screenshot, being on any page of Mozilla, or things like google Maps always say that I am not under the most recent version. For the moment, I am, however, under version 42.0 (which shows the screenshot). When checking for updates, Firefox itself says that it is up-to-date. (OS: Windows 10)

PS your "guess" is not educated, says I am running on a Windows 7 19.0.

Your Agent user as you can see in the details of the system over the right to post Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; RV:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0

There is a version of Firefox 43.0.2 planned to block this NVIDIA driver, you can try to install through this site:

Otherwise, you can check the control panel so you can find "NVIDIA Network Access Manager" or "NVIDIA ForceWare Network Manager" and uninstall this software.

  • You Tube is not playing video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update

You Tube and other sites do not play video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update for both. Adobe Flash works on other sites but not You tube and sites that can have embedded videos from You Tube, I'm not sure.

Adobe Flash not crushed and no error message is visible. All that shows is a black screen for Flash video. Make a right click of the screen shows only a non-interactive 'a film has not loaded' and the clickable link to the home page of Adobe.

Weird. I have no idea why it does that. Your list of details of the system shows that 13.0.r0 Flash.

  • Why "My Tom Tom" (GPS site) does not work with Firefox? I can't only get updates via IE.

When I initially activated my Tom Tom GPS (Jan 2012) I did have a problem using Firefox. About 4-6 weeks ago, I tried to update the device and "My Tom Tom" wouldn't go with Firefox. After literally hours trying to make it work, I tried Internet Explorer and the updates took place without a hitch. Today, I had the same problem and after a few failed attempts to use Firefox, IE passed and had no problems. I don't know, but I think I updated my Tom Tom device at least once via Firefox and I think the problem some time after April 2012

It is probably because you are running a very updated version of Firefox. I have a TomTom, and it works very well with Firefox 15.0.1. Try to update to that and then try again.

I have Firefox 8.0.1 and since the update to it, some sites, I need to go so that Firefox will not accept certificates which is accepted in the previous version. I can not get the permanent exception and must uncheck permanent

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file

It is not usually necessary to create an exception for the certificates.

Possible causes are that a server does not send the full (intermediate) certificate chain or self signed certificates.

  • Updates the app world VS. your own updates

    Hi all

We are preparing to release our application.

My question is, most of you use App World to distribute and update your applications or you roll your own?

My other question is, all blackberry models come with App world installed? App world will settle on the software updates for the older models?

We are trying to determine if we need to create our own update process or piggy back the worlds of the app.

    Thanks in advance

App World pushing updates, but the timing of these updates is different and all users do not receive at the same time (I guess for reasons of scalability and efficiency).

You use a credit for each update that you push so if you want to push your own updates via a mechanism of "Check for updates", you can, but it's perhaps easier to push in the App World and let the App World to warn the user.

  • Silverlight 5.1.40728.0 reported by Firefox as vulnerable 41.0.1 / needs updated. From where? Why?

Silverlight 5.1.40728.0 reported by 41.0.1 as vulnerable Firefox / "update now" when I check my plug-ins are up-to-date. By clicking on the button takes me to the MS Silverlight download site, but all I get from following instructions is same version of Silverlight and Firefox same result. What is vulnerability? Why Silverlight can't be updated? I am sure to leave Silverlight as it is or should I turn it off? Or what? Why declare as vulnerable and who need to update if there is no recourse?

  • Firefox 31.7.0 ESR is not able to update to Firefox 38.0.1 ESR using checking update "On Firefox".

Firefox 31.7.0 ESR was running and "On Firefox" confirmed that. I knew that Firefox 38.0.1 ESR was available, but using the update checker "On Firefox" on Firefox 31.7.0 ESR only disclosed that Firefox has been updated. I had to download Firefox 38.0.1 ESR and install it manually. The new version is now running. Those who use Firefox 31.0.7 ESR seem to be locked into this version. The Firefox 31.7.0 ESR update doesn't seem to work as it had done previously on the ESR 31.6.0 version when it updated to version 31.7.0 ESR.

I noticed this behavior on three separate computers to Windows XP and Windows 7.

Hello hake, firefox esr is a version for businesses and the behavior you described is intended. the branch of the ESR 31 firefox is always supported & there will be an another regular update to 31.8.0 - at the end of this cycle on the esr branch users will be updated to 38.2.0 through the integrated autoupdater...

  • Firefox can't open after the new Update Version 36.

The problem is stated above. So I can use the version 35.0.1 without any problem. As soon as I update for Firefox 36, he will not simply open.
By will not open I mean when I double click the icon, it could register in the Task Manager with about 2.6 k RAM usage then stop immediately.

Here are the specs: Windows 7 64-bit, Microsoft Essentials, Windows Firewall

Yes, I tried all the solution on the forum and solve problems and yes I tried a clean install, and yes I add Firefox to the firewall exceptions. The 36 Version, simply won't open. But when I restore it 35.0.1, it works perfectly fine.

Would be very grateful of any solution.

The problem is solved after I deleted prefs.js under newly created profile.

For those who has the same problem, try to remove these files at the following address:

\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (username) C:\Users\ (profile name, could be random bunch of letters and numbers)

or just type the following in the ' research program and files "in the start menu:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (regardless of the folder appears)

NOTE: all the previous parameter could be returned to zero by default return.

  • Firefox Developer Edition constantly asks me to update

I use Firefox Developer Edition 37.0a2 and every time you start the browser is asking me to upgrade to version 37.0a2. Even when I click on update, it tries to connect to the server and it's the only thing I see.

I run firefox in safe mode. The result is the same.
I copied my old profile of 35 for firefox 37.0a2 firefox. Is there a file with the name of the version of firefox or something else is causing this error?

And the root being owner of the firefox directory was the problem. The problem is resolved. Guys thanks :)

  • Firefox is telling me it's an update, 35.0.1 available, but when I update, it doesn't seem to do anything, then keeps telling me to update to HELP
